I loved everything about Moxy! It's brand new, and I was blown away upon arrival at the quality of everything. The bar is very funky and modern, and the room felt far more luxurious than the price tag suggested. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, the huge TV was fantastic and had chromecast. The location was perfect, right next to the waterfront and a 5 minute walk from Plymouth Hoe. Staff were very friendly, I can't fault anything and can't wait to come back.

Not a major issue but be aware that parking is in a public carpark and costs £6.55 per day. I was slightly worried about leaving my works van there but there were no issues and it seemed safe enough.

The location of the hotel was great. Staff was polite and helpful. I think the price was genuine as compared to other hotels. Clenliness of the room was great. I loved the stay.

There is nothing much just a feedback, as below: 1. Please include a bottle of water in the rooms for each day of the stay so that if someone wants to make a tea can do so. 2. Other chains of your parent company provides some snacks like salted peanuts and biscuits in the room as well. It can be a great addition. 3. Please add some vegetarian or vegan dishes for breakfast. 4. There was no phone to call the reception or room service. It would be great to have it. 5. Ususally hotels have internet TV, it was not available here.

This place offers the best bang for your buck! The location is ideal, within walking distance of Devil's Point, Hoe Park, and the Barbican. You'll also find the nearby Royal William Yard, which is an emerging neighborhood with a variety of restaurants. From there, you can catch a ferry to the old port (multiple trips daily, costing £4 for a single trip) and take a scenic walk back along the waterfront, which we highly recommend! During our stay in June 2023, on-site parking was under construction and appeared to be nearly completed. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, surpassing the average size. Attention to detail is evident throughout. You'll find both European and USB plug sockets. As you may know, British bathrooms usually don't have plug sockets (except for shavers), but to compensate for this, the room is equipped with a socket near the full-length mirror, allowing ladies to dry or straighten their hair while looking in the mirror. Irons and ironing boards are not provided in the rooms, but each floor has three communal ironing rooms. There's also a small desk where I worked for half a day, which was perfect. However, if preferred, you can work downstairs in the amazing lobby, where a free printer is available! Additionally, the rooms are extremely soundproof, and the wall-to-floor curtains can fully darken the room, providing the best sleep imaginable! The lobby is wonderfully decorated, with a youthful and modern vibe. We particularly loved the availability of board games such as chess, UNO, card sets, Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit, and there is also a foosball! Many guests enjoyed these games, and the lobby never felt deserted, even late at night. This hotel is pet friendly, and our cat had an amazing stay! The staff members are incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make your stay extra special. Don't forget to try their awesome Got Moxy cocktails!

The only minor detail we missed was a towel rail.

The Hotel is new and very clean, the staff were excellent and very helpful. The room is a good size and very well designed with all facilities you would need and a very clean bathroom. The room was quiet to sleep in with comfy bed.

Unfortueanetly for the price, I was not expecting to have to park 400m away in a public car park and have to pay £6 and then drag my baggage across a building site to get to the hotel. I was told that this was the case as the hotel car park was not completed yet. Dissappointting that it has opened without the option for guests to park next to hotel and easily get bags to hotel. Also it was advertised on the TV that you can screen cast your device to the large screen TV in the room, this did not work even after several attempts.

Absolutely lovely hotel! Staff went above and beyond - awesome check in, so many games and complimentary drinks on arrival! Comfortable room and design. I love the place to hang clothes and accessories. Super breakfast! Everything was perfect! We came back and stayed a second night. Photo Booth was awesome!

One small thing, even though there was a DND sign on the door, the housekeeping staff knocked on our door to clean the room. On second day, we didn’t put a sign out on the door handle but housekeeping staff again knocked at door 09:20am. Very inconvenient when your trying to wake up/shower etc. Considering check out is at 12noon and they know we are due to check out that day, I found this to be poor, I did mention this to the hotel reception staff and got an apology.

Everything else was lovely, everything was new and fresh. Welcome cocktail was a lovely touch, rooms had everything you could possibly need from a city centre hotel. Great location close to the beautiful Hoe, Barbican and Royal William Yard. I chose to have breakfast in the morning, I have to say that it was the best hotel breakfast I have ever experienced. So much variety, from Cereals, cooked breakfast, cold cheese and meats, fruit and yoghurts, waffles, pastries, coffee and juice. Honestly was exceptional, will most definitely be returning

Bathroom was a little on the small side

Fresh clean new premises with friendly helpful staff and the room was excellent even if cleverly designed to perhaps save space but the corridors were sparkling

The ‘restaurant’ area took some getting used to re eating in the bar The quality of the breakfast was very good BUT we had an evening meal and because of the setup did not have high expectations re pub menu type and no other diners….one meal was good whilst my curry could have been fine if the chicken wasn’t so rubbery and hardly edible and had to leave it half eaten.

Staff were fabulous to interact with no matter the problem, fantastic customer service. Room service was always good and made the room lovely every time. Good knowledge of assistance dogs and absolutely no issues with that which was brilliant not to have to argue the point as often is necessary. Very nice place.

Storage space in the room was not much in terms of shelves and things, there was only the desk to put things. Other than that no complaints!

A different hotel to what we are used to which was refreshing. We liked the retro games that were scattered around the reception area. The background music gave off a great vibe.

After working out how to block the sensor for the under bed light we had a good nights sleep! Unfortunately part of the surrounding area felt a little uncomfortable when walking later at night. But we do see the potential that the area could have once the redevelopment is complete.

Good vibes! That's the first that comes to mind. We're actually still here. Initially was three days but we decided to stay a while more, so we extended day after day for another three days. We could get something cheaper but we felt good and didn't want to change. Very close to center, stores blablabla. That's not that important anyway. Clean and cozy and without that old hotel reception lounge smell. I think next time I'll choose Moxy again. We had a good stay and still have.
