Size, facilities (needed to work while on holiday and the desk was perfectly lit), tea/coffee and proper milk!!! 👍 plus the bathroom supplies were nice.

Hmmmm, one receptionist was really unhelpful (didn’t get her name) when I needed to use the road side parking as the hotel parking spaces were full and couldn’t appreciate the problem of an overseas phone/limited data to download the parking app. One to opposite side, Lilly was a total legend and assisted above and beyond. Perhaps sone training on this where staff realise we don’t all have local data plans and if we do have Tata plans, sometimes they are slow to download/use.

Location excellent for graduation of grandson. Staff excellent. We had an issue with lack of storage facilities in room. Was offered opportunity to change rooms but declined and a compromise was made to our satisfaction. Fantastic view from window. Huge king-size bed very comfortable.

Lack of storage to store clothes .no chest of drawers and very little space to hang clothes up. As there for ceremony needed to keep clothes crease free. No clean towels in room 2nd day. Very large room with Very little in it. So much potential but wasted. Bedroom furniture essential in any hotel bedroom.

Super convenient location being right near the Hoe and not far from other shops and the Town centre. The flat screen TV was such a lovely addition to the room with plenty of channels to choose from. Something I particularly enjoyed was the reading lights above the bed :). Noise wise, despite being near such amenities there was no road noise that was noticeable apart from the rare siron. Very clean and tidy and the shower was lovely with the added touch of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash all being provided, I did bring my own so I didn't use it but it was a nice touch. Staff were polite and quick to see you and everything was so clean and you could smell the cleaning products throughout the hotel. Will definitely return and hopefully try the pool.

My only downside was the lack of information on room service and how to go about ordering etc, very unimportant but some other people might have benefited from it being clearer or maybe being told the information at check in such as breakfast times and lunch and dinner times and room service requirements etc.

The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Loved the facilities in the room. There was an excellent choice of breakfast items. We liked that we could choose what we wanted. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast items and there was a great choice of cold items including the selection of fresh fruit.

Thought the parking expensive at £15 per night. No dress code as workers allowed in the restaurant in their work overalls. Would have preferred choice of tea or coffee to be brought to the table by staff as we felt uneasy carrying hot drinks through the restaurant with young children walking through to the tables or buffet.

Always very satisfied with location , lovely staff and excellent breakfast. Unfortunately on this occasion I was very disappointed with the location of room, (202) . The view was a brick wall and the bathroom was so small. I,ve stayed here numerous times and know this is not the norm . Given my booking was months in advance , the hotel was far from full, I couldn’t understand why we were given what can only be described as an inferior room and not up to the normal standard .

A better view and normal size bathroom.

I booked the hotel for my elderly in-laws. They wanted to be able to see the hoe and the sea from their room. The view was perfect from their room. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything they needed from towels to toiletries, to coffee etc. The weather changed and they felt a bit cold so ask for a blanket, within 10 minutes 2 blankets were delivered to their room. They said the breakfast was excellent, so much choice. Jessica helped them with their breakfast as they both have shakes and find it difficult to carry things without spilling it. They said she was a lovely girl and very helpful. The staff were all very welcoming at the hotel, but another special mention goes to Angela who attended to their room. She was very friendly and did a good job. They loved the coffee cafe on the ground floor along with the Malteesers that came with the coffee. Plus it was a good place to watch the world go by. Not being very mobile this was important to them as it made them feel part of it

Very friendly staff at reception, which was a nice start. 3 lifts to transport you so limited waiting time. Everywhere looked clean, tidy and well presented. - Also spacious. Breakfast (very good quality) on the top floor was a real treat. Also I should mention, housekeeping staff and maintenance were friendly and happy.

Our bathroom was disappointing in size and was a bit tired. The room was very spacious so I'm going to assume the bathrooms will get an upgrade at some point so a chunk of the room could be sacrificed to give a wow factor in the bathroom - I appreciate this is a personal opinion.

Size of room, bed and leisure facilities were excellent. We liked the pool and sauna but the pool had such a low floor at the shallow end that it was difficult to turn round when swimming lengths. There was a quiet area in the bar and the staff there were very obliging and friendly. The breakfasts were good with lots of choice and staff regularly restocking the supplies. Best of all, were the super coffee machines.

We were discouraged from ordering from the menu at breakfast (they said 30mins wait) so I would say for a self service restaurant it was a bit pricey. Our daughter hadn't pre booked her breakfast and had to pay £20. For this she had bacon not cooked the way she liked it and left most of the cooked breakfast. Our room had an unpleasant smell (carpet?) as if someone had been sick (in retrospect we should've asked for a change).

Convenient parking with a direct lift from the car park to our room. Great central location, friendly and helpful staff. We booked an executive room 1017 which had amazing views of the Hoe. This was a large room. plenty of space and a comfortable king bed. Bathroom was small but clean and adequate. We had dinner in the Marco Pierre restaurant on the penthouse floor (pre-booked online). Had an excellent dining experience served by Paul. Panoramic views of Plymouth at night.

We were disappointed by our executive lounge experience. Rather limited hours of operation. We checked into the hotel late and arrived in the lounge at 9.30pm. Only soft drinks and pretzels/biscuits. So the next day we arrived at 5pm and were told no alcoholic drinks or food until 5.30pm. So we left and went into the Marco Pierre restaurant on the same floor where they had a two for one cocktail hour. The car park is famous for being very tight. Don't enter unless you are a confident driver.

Room was better than Premier Inn, for instance, and much as I expected. Breakfast was very good except that the scrabbled egg seemed to be the awful stuff made from powder, and the poached egg was cold. Location was better than I hoped - excellent, able to walk to most venues. The Plymouth traffic is not good, so park up and leave your car there.

WE needed a pre-theatre dinner, but were put off from dining in the hotel, as there seemed to be some reviewers mentioning slow service. You must have may guestMet my hopes s going to TRP, so how about an offer that is attractive and guarantees that you will be out in time.
