The place was so comfortable and so very clean from the time we arrived the staff were excellent the rooms were spacious and light the bedding was clean and beds very comfortable ithad everything you need iron ironing board hair dryer and a fridge the only thing missing was a room safe box but it was fine the chamber maids came and cleaned the rooms everyday you are right near the coach station and few minutes walk from he train station and city center perfect spot for getting around plymouth there is a door through the bistro restaurant and bar that brings you to a carpark and sainsbury a short cut through shopping center and your in the town center

The prices of the restaurant were very steep and if you7 want room service there is another charge on top but because we eat ok didn't really have it the other rooms corridors and reception very well decorated

This is a lovely place to stay and so convient from the train station...only a ten min walk...purpose of our stay was to visit daughter who lives here and it was her graduation from uni! The staff are really friendly and acommidating, we had a very early morning check in so was so happy to see a cheery face on our arrival, even at 1:30am! We had a 4 night stay and so happy there is a fridge in the room too👍 Bed very comfy and bathroom facilities very clean. Thank you for a lovely stay...will defo book again😁

You can hear banging of the doors from other guests but thats not a fault at all...its part and parcel of the requirements of the hotel.....

The room was immaculate, well lit and spacious, the location was good for me because I was working at the university of Plymouth which is 3 minutes away but otherwise nothing special. The breakfast was awesome! The people were very kind, the bed was comfy and the tea, coffee and other consumables in the room were refilled which was a very nice touch.

My key-card for the room was constantly getting demagnetized. It would've been no problem if it happened 2-3 times during my stay but apart from it happening almost daily, in certain days it would be demagnetized even twice per day. Another negative aspect was that only one of the two entrances seemed to work as an entrance, another was just an exit and it meant going around the hotel each time you come from another side. As you can see these points are minor and they didn't affect the quality of my stay in a severe manner.

the room was perfectly acceptable. perhaps needing a bit of updating but clean and had all we needed for a 1 night stay. we were catching a train the next morning so did not stay for breakfast. the location was perfect. a few minutes walk from the train station. great for us!

we can"t say that there was anything we didn't like. we enjoyed our 1 night stay. the one thing that, perhaps, was a pain ....steps up into the hotel. with a couple of heavy suitcases, and we being in our 70's, was a little hard. however, when we left, there is another back route out of the hotel....takes you onto the subway for the station.

central to all amenities Good parking when layout identified.. the geography of the position is what it is. Map showing the route from small parking area to the car park was needed! thanks

Possibly small map would be helpful showing access to car park when walking; where the stairs going down to ground floor will lead. Is it either to the door giving internal access, or missing this one and exiting the other one leading to the outside of car park and then the barrier metal door. Use of small discs helpful when issued…and explained A few I spoke with had been confused of geography.

Location is central to city centre Quiet considering busy area We had room service and even though it was a little expensive it was beautifully made ...delicious The brasserie was lovely too when quiet.

Stairs from the car park up to the main building. Had to struggle with bags up the steps My husbands coat got lost on the way to the room, and no one handed it in and took it. Just a small point, but call me picky, but when leaving, a domestic staff member shouted down the corridor at us. "Are you leaving? What is your room number?" All this should be handled via the supervisor or in a more respectful way, not shouting down the corridor at guests.

This hotel is SO central to all facilities plus bus and train too.Everything within easy walking distance which is important for me as I use a walker and am dependent on public transport .The best assett though is the wonderfully helpful staff .I had to stay an extra couple of days due to train strikes etc and they couldnt have been more helpful in ensuring I could stay etc .Highly recommend .Bar food excellent so my grandson and girlfriend who I came to visit as they had just started at Plymouth Uni enjoyed lovely bar food meals with me too.Highly recommend

Room hairdryer provided very poor but otherwise everything first rate

Took 7 hours with heavy traffic and was a bit tired when we checked in, there was a bit of a mix up with the room but the lady on the desk sorted it asap, we were too tired to go out so used the restaurant and glad we did the food was very nice and the staff were superb, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel was well placed for everything we were doing and well within walking distance, took us 15mns to walk to the harbour and shops. It was very clean and well organised.

Love how big the room was and was lots to choose on the TV just washed was free water in the fridge as room was stuffy apart from that was a fantastic stay will stay there many more times?

The foh staff booking me into room 209 they should always double check on there system if the rooms been cleans as unknown to me went to my room 209 and was used dirty cups dirty towels on the floor beds slept in. So went back down to reception as told the night porter and he said he was so sorry and put me in a clean room 203 this should never happen first time staying there being put in a dirty room after a long day, but was resolved quickly just a shame for 102 a night breakfast wasn't included?

On arrival, the staff member was very welcoming and helpful in regards to the few questions I asked. No issues with the layout of the hotel and it was very convenient for arrival by car. Although I was very lucky and managed to use one of the very few parking spaces at the front of the hotel. Added bonus in my opinion was the very powerful shower in the bathroom (which was nice and clean)

Only minor issue was I found the room allocated very hot, and despite looking could not find any temp control device. It may have been my error, but if there is one perhaps it could be more obvious.
