The room was well equipped and nicely presented. It had everything you would need for your stay. The location was also excellent. The room certainly had a luxury feel to it.

The checking in process, arriving at the hotel. Travelling from the US and having limited connectivity while negotiating how to get in the door was a pain. All staff were remote and slow to get answers sent out thru booking.com message system. I didn't like providing identity documents to remote people, with no idea who/where they were or how it might be used. While searching for a hotel, we used parking as one of the criteria, it was disappointing to find at the last moment, that we had to pay for parking permits. I have stayed in other places in the area that had parking. The costs should be better stated in advertising.

Really, really great communication before arrival to make check in procedure ( without meeting an actual person) absolutely foolproof. (There was also a phone number for instant help if you got confused!) Parking permit paid for and sorted prior to arrival. Great. Lovely towels, terrific shower with good pressure and nice hot water, comfortable beds and extra pillows in room if you wanted them. Good TV - all working and easy to use. Quiet room- good soundproofing I would guess. Openable windows and room aired when we arrived. Good selection of standard tea and coffee plus a coffee pod machine thing for real coffee lovers. Room had tiny kitchenette, perfectly equipped with everything for two - cups, plates, wine glasses and tea towels and scourer and washing up liquid to wash up with and a reasonably sized small fridge very good for a short stay. Bedside tables, good adjustable lighting overhead and side, hairdryer and such like.

Curtains were fine, but on plastic curtain track which was a bit sticky to pull and is an accident waiting to happen when you get the inevitable heavy handed guest. I would change them to a pole with curtain rings which run more freely for less maintenance!

Lovely rooms very clean with fridge and microwave

Only booked about an hour before arrival apparently you have to fill in a guest form which is meant to be sent via email but I didn’t receive upon arrival there is a phone number on the door if you are having problems with email asked them to send again and sat on the doorstep filling this out then you have to call again and then they send details for entry also on bookings.com it says they can sort out street parking but they need 24 hours notice overnight parking cost me £15 !

this is an "auto-stay" - I had a few problems with the check-in but I was very impressed by the speed and effectiveness of the telephone support. I wasn't expecting much from the place but was simple very comfortable and very clean - for price I can't fault it and the location was great.

There was a kettle and a couple of sachets of milk - but the tiniest of places to even make a cuppa - it could have been just a bit more generous but but this really nit picking - lots of great cafes - whon needs self catering!

This was a really great place to stay. The room was well maintained, clean, very comfy bed. It had microwave, fridge, kettle, cutlery, bowls, plates etc. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the room. I’d not think twice about staying here again if I was in the area. 9/10 only reason not 10/10 would be the room was maybe a little small…but hardly a complaint! The ‘check in’ was well done too.

The room was slightly small, but it didn’t have a massive impact on my stay. Would 100% stay here again.

Modern, beautifully clean, well equipped, central, easy access, quiet. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, B&Bs and self-catering properties and I am usually slightly disappointed with something. However, for value for money, location, facilities and cleanliness this property exceeded my expectations and I would definitely rebook.

The bed could have been a little more comfortable but I've rarely slept in a hotel bed that is! Other than that, there is nothing I didn't like.

Room clean and a good size

Had a problem with parking permit didn't arrive had to pay on street parking quite expensive took payment rang a number of time with different excuses. Last time rang told if I send parking receipts would get refund did this but no response. Only one disappointment with room no draws for cloths could do with more wall hooks had to put towels on floor in bathroom when showeing

The room was clean and well equipped. It's possible to prepare a simple meal as there's a fridge and hob and all the equipment required!

There was only one small toilet roll provided for two people. We arrived at 9pm and it was finished before we left at 9 am. Curtain rail was hanging off in places leaving light to come through the gaps. I would also suggest getting them lined as a lot of light comes through early morning waking us up when we needed to sleep.

Stayed in room 1, Ground floor, good sized room, comfortable, clean. Kitchenette, including hob, with all utensils and cleaning products you could need. Good sized shower. Great location with Tesco's not far. Few minutes walk to the water. Quiet, more of an airbnb feel than a hotel. Clear instructions in email about parking, how to use coffee machine, hob etc. Stayed in extremely hot weather so electric fan provided was a blessing. Enjoyable stay overall.

Online check in, requiring uploading of I.D, which must be done in advance to gain access codes. Luckily I checked my messages prior, but many people were stranded, waiting for their company who had booked on their behalf to chase details, or simply hadn't checked email to do this as assumed it's a standard welcoming message. Maybe a direct text/call explaining the need to do this as is rather unusual, no staff on site to help. Front door also slams shut if not careful and the battery for the access code tends to fall off, therefore denying any entry at all.

Decent room and shower and was adequate for one night.

Nightmare to get into the property! I had confirmation I did not need to submit Id as the time of submitting the questionnaire. I was with my toddler and could not locate my passport. Got to the property and when i called the lady was a wee bit rude and would not answer my questions which was extremely frustrating. When i spoke to the gentleman he was courteous and apologosed for the confusion.
