Staff were very helpful throughout our stay from the moment we walked through the door, helping with bags etc. The breakfast was perfect and both me and my partner really enjoyed the Full English. Finally, the location is brilliant, just a stone's throw from Hoe Park, Barbican and the city centre, no more than a 5-10 minute walk from most of the local amenities.

On our last day, we had a problem getting hot water from the taps. Also, it would be nice for breakfast to be served later the 8:45am

Very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Only downside is that they now charge extra for parking which was always free before

Lovely hotel in a great location, so close to the Hoe & Barbican, less than 5 minute walk to either. The staff are excellent, very friendly & go above and beyond. The rooms are spacious, light and very comfortable, really clean too. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice. We have stayed before and will definitely stay again next time I'm visiting family.

When we turned up we were sked to pay to park in the hotel car park, which we have never had to before when we stayed. I Think this was £12 a day. It was never in the description or emails that we received that we would have to pay extra. The hotel staff then arranged with the management that we didn't have to pay as we weren't made aware beforehand, which could be seen as a positive. I think it would be better to give the option of parking during the booking process, so that all charges are up front and known about. Other than that minor thing (I'm being picky, really), nothing at all to moan about.

Very friendly welcome, showed to my room which shows great customer service. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed . The shower room was also a nice size. Everything worked with no complaints an excellent Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice again with welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent value for accommodation very close to the beautiful Plymouth Hoe within minutes of restaurants and the city centre. close to the Ferry port as well. Very good value and highly recommended.

For the location, and price there is absolutely nothing not to like. Parking on the street, although car there is a car park although first come first served. The on street parking is not too expensive for a city location so not an issue either.

We had a one-night stay for our wedding anniversary as we needed a location near to the Hoe and Barbican. This small hotel fitted our requirements. Our room was lovely, light, and spacious. Bathroom was satisfactory with a walk-in shower, perhaps a little tight regarding the sink area, which is still fine. Staff were lovely so overall very happy.

We would stay in this hotel again as generally very agreeable. If I had any slight negative points. Only two small issues really, the parking at this location is tricky, because there is not a lot of space. Plus, the full English breakfast was acceptable not overly plentiful. Although the tomatoes were undercooked.

Lovely clean hotel great location for the hoe and plymouth pavillions. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good and staff were very lovely.

Very early check out and car parking was a bit of a pain, we were told there was a space but when we arrived a couple had parked in front of the space, we eneded up parking on the road and pahing a small fortune for the privalage. When we checked in we were told that the hotel can issue passes at a discounted rate for parking on the road by then it was a bit late as we had already paid. We had a lovely room but the toilet was so noisy and we could never get it to flush properly. Bed was rock hard

The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. The manager headed a great team and obviously led by example. Excellent Service. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and facilities good. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in a UK hotel for a long time. Freshly cooked and excellent service.

No bar! After a full day out it would have been nice to sit and relax in a hotel bar without the hassle of packed Saturday night bars in the city. We were extremely disappointed this was no longer available. The view from our second floor windows...or lack of view due to it being obscured by stone wall type balustrade thing.

Wow, what a wonderful place! First and foremost, the location, right near the Hoe (park with a magnificent view of the harbor and a historical lighthouse) and the Barbican with many restaurants - and the Gin Distillery (a MUST!) And despite the proximity to all this, it was very quiet! Then the staff - OMG, what a wonderful team, everyone was ready to help with anything - special breakfast, directions, things to see, best restaurants... As I mentioned, the breakfast - several choices, ALL delicious, and made to order (try the poached eggs... a delight!) Parking was a bit tricky "on property", but quite achievable by leaving keys with front desk in case my car was blocking anyone. I LOVED this place! Not a hotel, but a fun happy place to stay! I'll be back!

It was a bit of a climb to my room upon arriving with my luggage, but after that, I loved my room and all the light that came in. I was like in a penthouse!

The staff were incredible. An early breakfast was laid on for runners in a local event, which was a Godsend. A delicious bowl of porridge was prepared for me upon request. The room was comfortable. Parking was very convenient. It was greatly appreciated that I was permitted to have a shower after the half marathon, even though I had already checked out. Great location also.

I would say that the property could use a bit of an update, but this in no way affected the overall experience. I felt so well looked after!

Pat was lovely and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was massive and very well cooled excellent quality ingredients and a lovely selection of fresh fruits and yoghurt etc. Very secure location with some onside parking available.

Our room although was tastefully decorated and the room and bathroom were clean. There is a little issue with some water staining on the high walls however I think that this is normal for Plymouth is wasn't damp and did not affect the enjoyment of our stay.
