Child and dog friendly . Rooms were soacious - unfortunately the TV did not work but not too important. All staff were friendly but special mention to Charlotte in the restaurant who was friendly and patient with our 2 young grandchildren. We had two dogs with us and they were made welcome. There were spaces to walk them and they were able to join us in all areas apart from the restaurant. We were a group of 6 adults - 2 infants and 2 dogs celebrating my special birthday and it was a perfect venue. We had half board and the breakfast and 3 course included meal were delicious. My room was decorated with banner and balloons and a birthday brownie at our meal. We used the pool etc which was warm and clean - very friendly staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to go again .

Breakfast was excellent although we had to upgrade to have it! The double rooms were each £120 + £11.95 breakfast. Staff were lovely and very efficient- booked our taxis. Spa staff were helpful. but our locker didn’t work and they weren’t surprised! I had to ask for help three times!

Our room 149 was better but our bed base looked really tired and chipped. I splashed out on our half term break for 1 night of luxury which I felt my price tag covered only to feel very disappointed. (£289 for 2 double rooms and breakfast for 4 for 1 night ) we enjoyed the spa however!

They have spa and pool facilities and allow dogs which were the main reason we chose this place. I enjoyed a facial, body scrub, massage and manicure. The house-keeping staff are excellent. Especially Zoe who helped me deal with a situation with grace. The food was excellent, in the restaurant bar and room service. The service overall was excellent. Nice places to chill out both inside and out. Very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Room was a bit hot but a fan provided. The bathroom floor so well polished it was a bit slippery.

The property was gorgeous! We had a family room (room 18) one “double” and a single! The “double” was huge!! Didn’t even notice someone else sharing the bed! The room alone had so much space. No complaints on the cleaning, bed sheets smelt so fresh. Plenty of towels. Iron/hair dryer/fan and a heater all supplied. We didn’t want for anything. The swimming pool was brilliant! Children loved it. They had a go in the hot tub and the 16:00-19:00 hours for kids was perfect. They had plenty of time to enjoy it. Had a quick go in the morning too before check out.

The cooked breakfast (sausages) were well done for our liking.

The hotel was ideally placed for us attending a wedding over at Bordesley Park. There was plenty. of space and the beds were comfy. I was also really impressed with the service from reception when we asked for some extra tea & milk and some water when we returned from the wedding.

The only gripe I have is that the bath didn't drain when the shower was on so you were stood in dirty water as you were showering. This wasn't a massive thing which is why I didn't report it until check out

The food was very nice, but I was missing sandwiches for breakfast, no cheese, no ham, no vegetables, fruit only from the tin The swimming pool was a hood size, water was warm, Staff are very helpful and friendly. They helped to handle screaming kids and keep them busy. Good size of the room and beds

Moist in the room was horrible, once you enter the room you can smell it and feel it, all clothes got damp and smell bad. For the 4-star hotel, I was expecting the stuff to be new or at least not damage, the sofa in the room was so old and used that was looking dirty and no one wanted to sit on it tackles of sleeping on it. Cleaning was inaccurate, and lots of dirty was around the bath. Toilet near reception was so dirty in the evening that it looked like a public toilet, slightly better the next day. Kids can use a swimming pool only 2x a day for 2 hours each time.

The hotel is in a lovely location & has lovely grounds. The bar area & restaurant overlooks the golf course & are very pleasant. The cooked breakfast was good too. Iron & ironing board in all three bedrooms so no need to request one if needed.

I thought the bedrooms we had were in need of an update. One of the duvet covers in my room (we had three for the group in total) was clean but stained & obviously so on top. There were two wedding parties staying at the hotel & bar only manned by one person on our arrival back so it took ages to get served.

Pool, steam room and sauna were all great. Perfectly enjoyable. Pool was quite busy with kids but they do have adult only hours so that’s mostly our fault. A lifeguard would have been good as some kids were messing around and their parents weren’t anywhere to be seen.

Locker doors missing and showers out of order in the men’s. Breakfast ran out of pastries and didn’t have fresh fruit. Not the end of the world but it was expensive and would’ve gone elsewhere for breakfast if we’d seen what was on offer

Lovely comfy bed, room was spacious and bathroom was a good size too. Iron, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel all provided which was fab. Free parking too, swimming pool, steam room and sauna was great too! Just a shame the kids were very noisy.

Quite expensive and didn’t include breakfast with our rate. We had lots of kids running around in the hallway, playing knock knock on our door at around midnight when we were trying to sleep. Had an issue with a taxi reception booked - it came 5 mins early, we arrived at reception for the time we booked and it had already left. No one on reception for a good 10 minutes and then had to wait another 20 minutes for another taxi- reception lady wasn’t very apologetic or didn’t seem very bothered.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and needed to charge our vehicle , whilst we hadn’t brought the power cable the super helpful staff had a spare one and swiftly assisted us. In the morning we came down to breakfast late (c.10 minutes after it had finished) as we hadn’t checked the timings. Yet again the staff were really helpful and plated us up a hearty breakfast from the left over buffet stored in the kitchen
