The Bell exceeded our expectations for our three night stay . Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a large bathroom with a separate tub. The pub is set in a beautiful village. The breakfast was lovely- a full English freshly made to order by the chef each morning . The chef and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful despite things being new lately due to change of ownership. We met the new owner and she was kind. Church bells go off through the night which I thought would be disruptive but actually added to the charm of the place .

Only minor issues such as some noise coming up from the kitchen during the day , although it was quiet at night even with people at the bar downstairs ( room 9) . The Wi-Fi also isn’t the strongest signal and due to this the smart TV in our room couldn’t access Netflix/ Disney plus etc.

I arrived on a Sunday evening after a long and rainy drive. I hadn't realised that the restaurant finished serving early on a Sunday, and I arrived after it had closed and was both tired and hungry. The lovely Landlady came to my rescue and organised a roast dinner so I didn't go hungry. Later that evening there was pub quiz. I ended up staying for that - again the Landlady suggested I team up with two fellow travellers, a lovely couple from Wales, we won the quiz and donated the prize money to a local dog charity. A totally unexpected and fantastic evening!

Great location - quick to get into Birmingham from, lovely food, decent car park to the rear, lovely atmosphere, clean modern decor. Comfy room. Excellent staff - really accommodating. We did have a slight issue in that they missed my request to separate the beds, but they dealt with that very quickly and (in spite of my assurance it wasn’t necessary) insisted on giving us a little something to compensate. Mistakes will inevitably happen sometimes, but it’s how they’re dealt with that counts - and they couldn’t have done better than they did in my view. Highly recommended!

Very minor issue, but we had to bunk down early as we had to be up very early the next morning and I could hear the men staying in the next room chatting, so I would say the soundproofing in between rooms could be better. Couldn’t hear anything from the pub below though. (Luckily I had earplugs in my bag so it didn’t spoil our lovely stay)

Absolutely everything. The room was lovely, with an en suite bathroom, which had both a shower and a bath. The bed itself was very comfortable and great for a good night's sleep. More electrical sockets than you could poke a stick at, meaning charging devices up was not a problem. The staff were very helpful and we had a few drinks at the bar - it had a very nice atmosphere. We had breakfast in the morning, and it was to die for. They had a good choice, and it was scrumptious. The surrounding village was picturesque, so we took a walk around it in the evening. It's one of the best places I've stayed and will look at here again next time I'm this way day Highly recommended

As I arrived at the reception I was greeted in very friendly manner. The room is beautiful and very clean with lovely touch of coffee machine. I found the bed very comfortable and room specious. The service at the reception very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was excellent along with excellent service. We also had dinner in the evening and what also was delicious with excellent service. My stay was great and I felt very welcome. Thank you I will be staying there again and I’ll definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Everything was great.

I like the atmosphere.. small pub with a building behind where they have additional rooms. This is where i was staying. Very clean and nice staff. Food in the restaurant very nice. Very good breakfast.

It took a long time to check in. I was given room in the building outside..on the ground floor. There was a couple staying above me. The building is old and the floors are extremly squeeky..to the point i caleed the reception requesting the room to be changed.. unfortunetally they were fully booked. The couple was getting up in the night few times and woke me up. If i ever stayed there again..i would request a different room. Apart from that the room itself was lovely.

We booked a last minute treat. Just to have a night away to ourselves. Absolutely loved the Bell. Charming and quiet village location. Church bells ringing outside. The pub is lovely and very welcoming. Locals all love the place. Very clean. The staff are lovely. The food was exceptional. All freshly prepared and very tasty. The room we stayed in was big and well fitted in a modern cottage feel. Bathroom excellent. Bed was sooo comfy. Dog friendly too so next time we'll take the dog. Breakfast really was one of the best we'd ever had. Super tasty.

Nothing. Loved every bit of our stay.

Tanworth in Arden is a beautiful peaceful village and the Bell sits at it's centre. We booked a bit last minute after a change of plans, was surprised at the value for a weekend stay with Bed and breakfast booked. The owners and their team were friendly welcoming and attentive. The food we ate whilst stopping was excellent. Rooms were tidy and the beds comfortable. All of this really made my weekend, so thank you and will see you soon when I have to travel up for business

Fabulous Inn and staff excellent especially Evie who served our table for dinner. What a fabulous young lady😁 We enjoyed our stay again and will return. Few comments to offer though for your consideration. Radiator was soo hot I actually burnt my thigh when drying after shower… ouch ! I did miss a shelf in bathroom or somewhere to put my toilet bag and makeup bag. These points did not however spoil our stay and look forward to returning.

Nothing at all

The property is quirky! It’s a lovely combination of a small hotel, an excellent restaurant and a central meeting point for the tiny village. Breakfast “opens” the building and then folk call in for coffee and a chat before and after the school run, during the day and early evening. It was lovely to see young children happily colouring with their friends after school whilst their parents chatted and made arrangements. The staffing is small but very efficient. Nothing is overlooked and locals are greeted by name and chatted to. The room we had was great. A fantastic bathroom with freestanding bath in addition to a shower. Bed was comfortable and there was a chair to use to watch tv if required.
