Absolute gem of a place. Great place with a bonus of having the pub and restaurant below the rooms. All the staff were super friendly. We had an apartment and a double room and both were clean and a good size. Bonus to have ample parking as well.

The loud hum of the kitchen extractor through the second bedroom which thankfully stopped once the kitchen closed. It did start again at 8am but we were awake anyway. Also the shower in the apartment needs plunging as it drains very slowly.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was modern and cozy.

The room was very nice, but cold. Central heating was not turned on, but the staff did provide a small oil heater which didn't do much. The bed was uncomfortable and needed an update. The bathroom facilities were basic. No breakfast on offer room only. The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent and hot.

The village was a very friendly pretty village. The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and informative about the local area. Sunday roast was superb.

We stayed in the apartment which was quite dusty. It was an exceptionally hot weekend and there were no fans available. A mirror in the each bedroom would be useful.

Room. Bathroom with a bath. Restaurant food home made, specials board special. All served "hot". Can't bear cold food..... Nothing was too much for the staff.

Downside was the bed mattress springs protruding whilst in use. New mattress required..... No breakfast as advertised.

Lovely location with plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and the room was small but clean and well-equipped. Loved the cushions on the window sill overlooking the green.

The mattress was a bit saggy and the shower wasn't very hot. If they were both updated, this would be a perfect place to stay!

The location is beautiful. The hotel is lovely and really good value for money. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and had a lovely view of the village green. The food in the restaurant was really nice and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The only negative for me was the pillows. A bit flat and lumpy for my liking

It was like the venue weren't expecting us & when we asked about if we needed to pay in person or if they would take the money from the booking card it took about 3 members of staff and a phonecall to another for them to work it out. It's a lovely little place to stay but the staff need more training on the hotel booking side of things.

I received a genuine welcome and was looked after by all of the staff. There seems to be an overall feeling that the guest is priority from all of the staff. I really enjoyed my stay and will return if I'm in the area again. This is what is meant by customer care.

There was a lack of hanging space but it wasn't a problem and they provided everything I needed for my stay. The room is not huge but was quite sufficient.

A great pub with comfortable rooms . Friendly helpful staff and very good home cooked food. Good value for money in comparison to the hotel chains . Ideal for working away 👍

Nothing I didn’t like as such, but would have been good to have some hand soap at least in the bathroom.
