The rooms have been refurbished since we visited a couple of years ago. Comfy room, with lovely sea view. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner on one of our nights was also tasty. Easy flat walk into the town.

the walls remain thin and neighbours talking in their room, children shrieking etc. frequently disturbs the otherwise quiet and peaceful ambience. Parking was difficult - one of the staff gave up their space for us as the parking area was full.

Could have done without the posy, self centred head-waiter, who was so unbelievably up himself that he never had an eye for the guests. But other than him the staff were welcoming and wonderful.

The hotel is overlooking the seafront, with plenty of space in the car park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Both of our bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious, with access to the patio. We would definitely stay again.

We would have preferred an open time slot for breakfast rather than having to book for specific time.

Everything was perfect. The Australian sounding receptionist who I believe was called "Georgie" was extremely helpful, friendly and super efficient and is a credit to the lovely hotel. Similarly the blonde lady who took our breakfast orders was also very nice and helpful. Sea Views through the huge picture windows were great to look out at breakfast time.

One or two of the make bar staff in the evenings were a little less friendly and sullen but more than made up for the quality of the food which was first class.

The property was in an excellent location-near a fantastic beach but also central to a lot of the tourist sites, by car. It doesn’t look particularly pretty from the outside but the recent upgrade has been so cleverly done inside. The theme of beach house is carried through the whole property. The dining room, with huge windows for sea views and tables angled accordingly, is bright and fresh but has lots of clever design ideas. All of the staff -reception, dining room and bar were both friendly and efficient. You had to choose your breakfast time -that worked brilliantly as you got served almost before you’d sat down! There was a huge selection for breakfast and what we ordered was of a high standard. We ate one dinner there too-very well designed menu to make the best of local produce -all delicious.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities me and my son used during our stay were faultless. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. I liked the fact that the hotel is just down the road from Seahouses centre so it is quite whilst being 3 minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and harbour. The food at the hotel is also very nice.

The only thing I can slightly complain about is that most of the menu in the restaurant is seafood related. Obviously this is a personal opinion but I'm not a massive lover of seafood so I found the selection a little limited.

Not being able to get in to room until 1500 You need to leave by 10.30 You're not able to use the optional off site spa swimming pool option on your leaving day so if you only stay for one evening .. it's difficult to use the facilities.

The hotel has a direct view onto the Fane Islands. The lounge includes comfortable chairs which allow guests to sit and enjoy the view - a real 'wow factor' for us. We had the same beautiful view at breakfast and this was accompanied by a wide choice of food, including very tasty cooked meals and a very (very) cheerful waitress. In fact, all the staff were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable.

No complaints at all. We did hear some noise from the hotel, but it was minor (we stayed in November, so the hotel may not have been full). With everything else so good, this could easily be ignored.

From the time we were checked in by Georgia at reception we experienced nothing but excellent service. She was very welcoming, friendly, efficient and helpful. We booked the accessible room and the facilities were really good. The little stair lift made it easy to get to reception with a wheelie walker, the room and bathroom were warm, comfortable, very spacious and easy to navigate for someone with mobility problems. All the hospitality staff made dinner and breakfast in the restaurant a great experience. They were friendly, quietly efficient and our food and drinks were served very quickly. The views out to the ocean from the dining area and bar/ sitting room are beautiful and added to the enjoyment of delicious, well cooked and beautifully presented meals. The tasteful Christmas decorations added to the lovely atmosphere. The property is easy to find and very conveniently located to access the town and coastal walks. On site parking was a bonus. Our whole experience at the Beach House was far above our expectations and we would definitely recommend staying there. Wish we could have been there longer !

Location was perfect on the seafront within easy walking distance of the town with plenty of on site parking.

We were allocated room 12, the room was clean and comfortable with a big en suite bathroom. However due to it being hot weather we did need the windows open and unfortunately right below our window was the air conditioner and boiler room which would intermittently come on every minute which was very noisy and kept us awake. The next day we asked if there was another room available to swap to and luckily a room had become available so they duly obliged to move us for a small fee ( as the room was bigger ).
