Location is beautiful set in a peaceful countryside area just outside of the village of Dorridge There are lovely grounds to the property I had a lovely explore early one morning Good pleasant welcome My stay was because I was a delegate at a conference being held at Hogarths My room was named Autumn Good size room with very comfortable bed Large TV with multiple options Welcome is found on a tablet that provides the property info and WiFi codes Good full Size bathroom with shower over bath Rain head and also hand shower L'occitane toiletries mini size provided.. Would have been good it a moisturiser was also available. I liked that they were using these in the toilets and there was hand cream as as option. The room was very comfortable. Kettle and tea selection with coffee too Water was also available sparkling and still Room service was good cleaned and the tea tray and water replenished The room was over the outside utility area which at times did seem slightly noisy. The food I enjoyed was part of the Conference but that was served well and fresh. The waiting staff were polite and seemed to work well together with the team leaders. I enjoyed breakfast service there was a good choice available and the servers were very polite and helpful. The food was hot. Check out was easy even though the staff were busy with the large group Very pleasant stay I enjoyed the property and the location. Thanks

We arrived very tired after a long day & asked at reception about room service, we were advised about using our room iPad, sadly once we'd got in, changed... we went to the iPad only to find that it wasn't plugged in so we had to wait a while for it to finally charge & then order, we were a bit disappointed with the room service menu options, I like a Caesar salad but there were several options for them, a burger, or sides... not really that much choice... Breakfast which again was room service as my mum doesn't eat breakfast & I didn't fancy going to the dining room alone- it was nice but I wouldn't say it's worth £19.95... otherwise the bed were comfortable, the room was clean & the television offered lots of options, if only it was easier to figure out how it works.

The food at Hogarth's was exceptional, particularly the desserts. Waiting staff were very professional and pleasant. The room was pristine and the bed comfortable. Good grounds to walk the dog in and, as it was Crufts week, special arrangements had been made for separate dining, which was much appreciated.

When we first accessed our room the heating was set very high. We tried to turn off the radiators and turn up the air conditioning but couldn't improve the situation and in the end had to ask for help. This was swiftly provided, the heat turned off and the room was cool in time for the evening.

Virtually every very aspect was excellent, (i) the helpful attitude of every staff member, with whom I interacted, (ii) the room was spacious and comfortable, (iii) breakfast and dinner were superb (the pork chop and black pudding on Thursday night was a show stopper) and (iv) the overall ambience was great.

I hate to moan about anything at all because my stay was excellent. Firstly, my TV did not work on the first evening. The hotel was unable to repair it at the time (I reported it at about 10 pm - because no maintenance staff were around, which was understandable) but it was working on the following day when I returned to the hotel. So the hotel dealt with it promptly. Secondly, for me the range of draft beer in the bar was not to my taste. I would have preferred for draft Guinness to be available but I made do with a can. None of this detracts from my 10/10 score.

Comfortable and well equipped bedrooms and lovely gardens, dog friendly, EV charger, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast options and the granola is the best I’ve ever tasted.

Little bit out of the way if you wanted to be nearer a high street as eating is a bit limited at the hotel if you wanted a quick bite, lovely restaurant but menu a bit expensive, we had room service first night as was very tired after a long journey and got there late and it took 2 hours to arrive so it wasn’t ideal and we weren’t notified about the delay in food orders when we ordered.

Perfect location for us, we received a warm welcome by all, the hotel was beautifully decorated & our rooms were very comfortable, clean with tasteful interior design, very impressed. We were gathering to celebrate a special family Birthday meal & the food, drink & service were all fantastic, couldnt fault any aspect.Thank you to all at Hogarths you looked after us so well & you were so busy with a full hotel of Christmas evening events. Equally enjoyed breakfast, good choice presented & the tea coffee & hot meals were delicious.

Everything was great if I'm being picky the only negative for us personally was the matress was a little on the hard side & 2 pillows would have been welcome but that's just our preference, we did come prepared though.

Dinner and breakfast both good quality. Room excellent and with patio doors opening onto the garden, could not have been better for the 2 dogs we had with us.

The restaurant is spacious and has a wooden floor - perfect for dogs - but they are only allowed in the lounge area which means eating dinner and breakfast on a low table, uncomfortable and unnecessary. The additional charges for pets are not given on booking via Booking.com. While this is fairly typical, the additional charge of £30 plus £10 for an additional dog is way above normal and does not reflect the extra work involved in cleaning the room afterwards. Would probably not have booked having had this info in advance but it was a last minute trip and too late to change.

the hotel was very good. We are excited to see the improvements that are going to be made. Maz in the bar restaurant was very welcoming and very attentive. He was efficient warm and friendly. Reception staff were helpful and accommodating. It was really helpful to be able to book the restaurant in advance and on arrival decided to change the time of our booking and Maz was very helpful. Information about the current building renovations prior to arrival was much appreciated. There was some small noises but then it subsided and did not impact on our stay. The grounds are lovely.

The beverage tray in the room was broken and just needed a little glue. This did not impact on the stay... this was just an observation. I believe my daughter attempted to use the room telephone which did not work. Again this did not impact on the stay.

Really lovely stay for 2 nights during Crufts. Very comfy bed, nice bathroom, really clean and friendly staff. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the breakfast had a good selection and I can recommend the eggs royale. The location and surroundings is beautiful. Large patio and wooded area leading down to the water. There is a horse riding school next door and large fields

All the room doors seem to slam. The standard lamp didn't work and one of the long bulbs that runs along the mirror in the bathroom was out. It felt like the next door room could change our T.V as we would be watching something and it would just start flicking through the channels (very strange) Minor details

Staff were excellent and efficient, room was lovely and spacious with plenty of wardrobe space especially as we took our dog with us. We had room service and ate in the restaurant and both the food and service was excellent . The photos really do not do this hotel justice it’s really lovely and welcoming and would not hesitate recommending or staying here again if in the area.

A small thing I could have done with a bathrobe in the room, although I do usually take one and didn’t on this occasion. Also forget to put out the room service notice so the room wasn’t done and our room service tray was still in the room from the night before when we we came back in the evening, so the fault was mine but you need to remember to put out the notice. And lastly a waste bin outside the hotel as when with dogs you need somewhere to dispose the poop bag’s if there was one I certainly couldn’t find it.
