Breakfast very good apart from even at 8am running out of juice and yoghurt. I would add that the dining room chairs are now too low for tables to eat comfortably as the foam is past it's best.

As a blue badge holder the two spaces by front of hotel are next to the smoking area. Often folk standing in blue badge spots so had to park elsewhere. As a non smoker the stench is uncomfortable and returning to hotel in dark made me anxious with a crowd of smokers hanging around. The bin is full of stubs on the top and floor is littered with them. Doesn't create a good impression at front of hotel when there appears to be room elsewhere or move disabled bays.

The communal areas of the hotel are really good and seemed to have had a recent upgrade. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really good. It was also pet friendly so was lovely to see dogs in the lobby etc.

The family room we stayed in was very dated. The bathroom was in desperate need of an upgrade, ie. Broken tap, dripping shower, very dated decor etc. The beds were also super uncomfortable and there was no air filtration system so the room felt so musty every time you came in the door and being on the ground floor, we couldn’t exactly sleep with the window wide open. But it was fine for somewhere to sleep for the night, esp. with a toddler.

I opted for the upgrade and the room and facilities were excellent and clean and well prepared. I took advantage of the gymnasium which was a great feature and helped me while away the evening. As a vegan, I was pleased they were able to cater to my dietary needs with a really tasty plant based burger and the best fries ever! I was told that I could order non meat sausages for breakfast and only needed to ask. Lastly, the staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful or courteous. When I'm back in Wales I hope to stay here again.

Nothing negative to say really. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items, well prepared and presented. My only comment is that I would have preferred to see non dairy butter and milk. Of course, it may have been there or available had I asked, it's just that I didn't see it.

The beds and pillows, the shower and magnification mirror were all excellent. We slept well and had a quiet room. The staff were so helpful and pleasant.

We felt the decor in the room was a little tired, although things that weren't working when we arrived were fixed straight away. The food in the restaurant was pricey. The breakfast was one price, whether it was cooked or continental. We would have preferred to pay less for the continental breakfast. We only had the breakfast once during our stay as we paid £12 per breakfast.

Decor in room was modern and appeared relatively refurbished. Bed was very comfortable. Nice quiet room facing courtyard inside. Bathroom clean and old shower curtain replaced with a shower screen. TV good size ( didn't use) full coffee making facilities and hairdryer/iron etc. No air con and couldn't open window enough to get decent air flow but desk fan was provided in room.

The water pressure was quite poor...difficult rinse long thick hair when washing. Shower head fixed to wall and not able to remove. Corridors were horrendously hot and stuffy.

The location was ideal next to a lake. We had tickets for the Coventry City v Swansea game at the football stadium so was ideal

Just a few niggles. We were in room 238 and I was a little concerned the carpet was not clean enough there were a few nasty stains on it and I feel these should have been cleaned off. Think it needs a steam clean. It just does not look good when I noticed we had some European visitors and their hotels are immaculate. One light in the bathroom needed replacing which can easily be done. Also, we had a lovely view of the lake but the outside windows needed cleaning.

The size of room was great and bed very comfortable. location was great close to shops

The rooms could do with modernising a bit. the Tv would be better on the wall, bed side lights rather than overhead (totally blinding) plug sockets next to bed. I need to have my phone near me and having it charging on other side of room wasn’t great. the bathroom was great apart from the flusher on the toilet which was loose and corroded. lastly if staying for more than a couple of nights would have been nice to have had somewhere to unpack clothes.

The hotel location was quiet in the evening when we stayed (bank holiday weekend Sunday) which was great. The hotel lobby, bar and dining area has a lovely decor and gives the place a touch of class. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the rooms were comfortable and felt spacious.

The property is a little dated, which wasn’t a big deal except the toilet cisterns are very noisey when re-filling (which disturbed my sleep when neighbouring rooms used the toilet during the night) and ours was tricky to flush.

The Hotel was very nice and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and serviced daily. The hotel had Ukrainian guests staying which was very nice and the Ukranian people were very polite and seemed very happy under the circumstances. Well done to all concerned.

The hotel must had had some sort of contract with DPD courier company as the hotel was invaded by quite a lot of couriers mostly from the eastern bloc countries. These people were very ignorant to other guests and to the hotel staff and on one occasion which I saw abusing the very pleasant and well-mannered bar staff. They were also making noises to the young Ukranian girls who were passing through the hotel. This should be stopped as it is spoiling the good work that the hotel is doing.

Staffs were friendly and co operative. We had a birthday party celebration in the garden. Which have been allowed by the staffs for free of cost. If we take the meeting room for the same we need to pay.

Bath tub wet rubber mate could have been placed over there instead of keeping the caution notice on the wall. We had a incident where my friend's wife got injured in her forehead due to wet bath tub. The whole night ended in A&E. It happened after giving bath to a infant.
