I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming B&B on a busy farm, and it exceeded all my expectations. The idyllic views were simply breathtaking, with a glorious, well-maintained garden and a lovely hill that added to the serene atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly personable and warm, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The annex I stayed in was a perfect retreat, offering all the comforts I needed, including tea and coffee-making facilities and a microwave. The dining table provided a stunning view of the garden, making my evening meal and breakfast a delightful experience. The room was spacious and featured a comfortable king-sized bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The quiet of the accommodation allowed me to unwind and relax, which was exactly what I needed during my busy work schedule. The farm itself was lively yet peaceful, with well-behaved dogs and two wonderful horses and a pony, adding to the charm of the place. I loved every moment of my stay and will be returning.

Even on the phone before arriving, it was obvious, that Shelia the was a hospitable hostess. This was confirmed when we arrived and greeted and made to feel genuinely welcome, We were shown to our room, which was beautiful and a typical farmhouse style. The room itself was spotless, as was the ensuite bathroom, with a lovely hot shower. To top it all, the view from the window was lovely looking across the garden and lily pond to fields and trees. The breakfast was first class, with an excellent choice. I would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return next year

The breakfast was fantastic. The full english breakfast tasted fresh and the scrambled eggs were the best I’ve ever had and I thought mine were amazing. The room was spacious with views of the farm. My room didn’t have an en-suite but had a toilet just down the corridor that was private and that doesn’t bother me but it might bother others. There was another room with an en-suite. Sheila (I didn’t meet Mike) was a great host, very friendly and you can tell she loves to run a B&B.

Nothing really with the actual B&B. I found it quite hard to sleep, not because I couldn’t get comfortable but because it was just so quiet! I live next to a dispatch centre so I get lots of sirens. I’m just not used the the peacefulness when trying to sleep. In the day it was amazing. To sleep I had to put on some background noise and with the excellent free Wi-Fi I could have it on as long as I wanted.

I booked a twin room at Sheila's farm for my boyfriend and his cousin who are currently cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats. Sheila was great to communicate with in advance of the stay. The boys said Sheila was wonderfully friendly and accommodating and they were very appreciative of having their cycling kit washed! They said the farm and house were beautiful, beds comfortable and bathroom great. Sheila even went to the effort to cook the boys a wonderful full English breakfast before 7am so they could get on the road early! Many thanks Sheila for a brilliant stay.

Nothing - everything was brilliant 😊 The boys were only disappointed that they didn't get to meet Sheila's collie dogs as they were away working on the far side of the farm!

A delightful stay in a farmhouse three miles or so north of Tiverton (NB whatever your satnav may tell you, it's a left turn directly off the A361). Sheila and Mike (and the dogs) were excellent hosts and the breakfast was delicious. Sheila provides good information on the location (including restaurants in Tiverton, where our recommendation would be for Frou Frou - family run and a terrific bistro).

I don't think I have any criticisms at all. We had a bit of a faff making a phone call, but Sheila sorted us out very simply and the faff says more about me than about Deepaller.

Sheila was lovely to chat to. Sheila and her husband Mike made us feel very welcome. Our room and bathroom were very clean and the bed super comfy. The cooked breakfast was delicious! Sheila asked us to write down the evening before what we wanted to eat in the morning. Plenty of coffee, tea, juice, cereals, yoghurts and more laid out to enjoy before our cooked breakfast was made.

We loved everything about our stay!

The lady of the house is great. Mattress was good. Everything in the rooms is clean. Beautiful location nice horses. Quiet place.

Nothing they can do about it but no phone signal I sent a message but she didn't get it because of no signal. Also nothing they can do about it because the building is old the floor and stairs creek when other guests use stairs also the room slopes down because of old beams and your bed slopes down with it, it's a strange feeling.

Breakfast was truly the best full English ever, because the quality of the elements was super: great sausage, quality bacon, lots of mushrooms and really fresh eggs. I chose to avoid beans, but I'm sure they would have been good. Fresh ground coffee and quality yoghurt made my morning. My room was great, with a comfortable king size bed, private bathroom and loo. Towels, soap, shampoo etc were all excellent. The view out of the windows were spectacular. Best of all, the welcome was warm and genuine, including a brilliant recommendation for a pub to get a good dinner.

Nothing really - it was a 20 minute drive to the pub for supper, with typical narrow Devon lanes, but worth the journey.

quiet country location, beautiful view of field and sheep from bedroom window. The host was excellent. The owner texted me, prior to my arrival warning me of a difficulty with the access to the farm and advising of a different route. At breakfast the owner paid particular attention to my very necessary dietary needs and went way above my expectations .

I can't think of anything

The breakfast provided was generous and varied. We slept well due in no small part to the very comfortable bed. We were also made to feel most welcome,

The TV was positioned to the right of the bed making for difficult viewing.and The room was a little chilly and could have done with some heating to take the chill off.
