The room was clean , bed was comfy.

Sorry but this are things we had problem with. When I booked the hotel, I booked 2 rooms for 5 adults and 1 child, but when we got there the two rooms were only booked for 1 adult in each room, so I had to book an extra Room also, I booked breakfast for all, but only two people could have breakfast and I had to pay for all the others, so for the next two days we had breakfast elsewere. Someone else's food trays were left outside our doors for two days by cleaning staff not taken for ( food was not even ordered by us as we were at a wedding ceremony and were out all the days). On the last day the main light in our room were not working and had to use the bedside lamp.

Some of the staff were really friendly, particularly Mariam, the staff member in the spa on the Friday when we arrived was very helpful and friendly, sadly the member of staff working there the Saturday was rude and unpleasant which effected our visit. The restaurant was beautiful, food was delicious and restaurant staff couldn't do enough for you.

The staff were inconsistent. One of the reception team was so welcome and friendly, another didn't speak. One of the staff in the spa working the Saturday evening was so rude and unpleasant. The jacuzzi had to much chlorine and pool could have been warmer. The Friday evening we never slept due to noise levels. The main concern was on arrival we found out they were holding crown court in the hotel which effected how safe we felt and certainly not expected when booking and paying for a 4 star spa hotel.

The staff were excellent and were very kind to upgrade the room my daughter had booked at the same venue, on the evening we left, as it was the evening after her wedding celebration. The reception staff could not promise anything, but my daughter reported that she and her new husband had been given a much bigger room, with a huge bath and some other lovely extras. So grateful for what they were able to do.

Had a few issues with the shower in one of the rooms, but it was just a slightly tricky ''pull'' mechanism, that we could not get to work. It was looked at by staff, but it would have been more helpful if they could have explained or shown us how to operate it. But, it was more our inability to make it work, than a major issue and staff did try to help straight away.

Almost everything was incredible. The food was delicious. We are in the orangery for dinner and I could not fault the meals we received, likewise for the breakfast that was included in our stay. Absolutely amazing variety and great taste. Unfortunately my only down fall was the bar, the lovely lady behind the bar wasn’t very clued up on the drinks even admitting she didn’t know that rum was the liquor went into a strawberry daiquiri. Secondly I would have expected the cocktails to be made by hand however unfortunately not they were pre made bottles and still charged at over £9 seems very steep. However overall a very enjoyable stay, friendly staff and we left feeling very relaxed.

The hotel is beautiful, for such a reasonably priced room we could not believe the luxurious feel when you are walking up to the hotel. The room we had was an incredible size and the bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a walk in shower rather than a shower over a bath (as is so common in hotels) which as a pregnant woman made my life so much easier and more comfortable.

The only downside to the bed was that it was two singles connected together, there were times when either my husband or I woke up wedged in the groove between the two mattresses. It would also be good to see some vegan options on the menu, we were unable to eat at the hotel due to this. Once booked we were informed this hotel is being used as a nightingale court and the emails implied that it was in a separate part of the hotel, but as soon as we walked in there was a metal detector and signs for court one, on our floor our room was one of three or four that weren't being used by the crown court. They were only admin offices, but I think transparency around this and the proximity would be a lot better. Its not that it massively bothered us, it was just surprising.

The hotel met if not exceeded my expectations based on the details seen when booking. We never got to use the pool so I can't comment on that. But, the staff were all welcoming and friendly. The public spaces were all clean and tidy with only the wear and tear that I would expect of a busy hotel. There was a wedding reception being held there on the night of our stay so the main restaurant was not open to us. The only only option was to eat in the bar which was fine. It was quite quiet and the food came out in good time and was delicious. The Chef really knows their stuff! The two ladies working the bar that night were wonderful and we passed a pleasant couple of hours there. Our room was clean and tidy, the bed was as comfortable as I normally find hotel beds. That's probably more to do with my back than the bed though. Our room was a good distance from the wedding reception and we couldn't hear any noise which was great,

The bar area is quite small and if you have no choice but to have your evening meal there then I can imagine it becoming quite crowded. The tables are all low which doesn't make eating a meal very easy. I may have just not seen them but there didn't appear to be any lifts. So be prepared to hump your suitcases up some stairs or make sure you engage the services of the porter.

Great staff, brilliant facilities including spa . The food is great, even the breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had.. Good location. Lovely clean rooms. The price was excellent. Spa treatments we had were wonderful and reasonably priced. Loved the pool sauna ,steam, and jacuzzi . Riley, on reception, made checking in easy and gave us all the info we needed. Marieanne in the bar was an absolute joy. All staff excellent. It's very handy for the Black Country museum nearby, ir Dudley Castle and Zoo. Very quiet, got good sleep every night. Impessive building. You'll love it. I'm so glad we booked.

Nothing it was all great.

Comfy bed and good sized room. Staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was available early in the morning but was only available for a short while quite early on. We would have liked to have had our breakfast at 9am but it had already finished by then so we had to go down at 8am. We came for a relaxing break and to then use the spa facilities but had to get up to have breakfast at 8am. Also the pool and jacuzzi facilities were not great. Jacuzzi was cold and the pool was suddenly closed for 2 hours when we were there and booked in to use it so that they could fit a new cover over it.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Park Hall Hotel. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who pointed us in the direction of the pool and spa facilities as we had arrived very early due to the M6 behaving itself and being clear. The spa facilities were lovely and clean and we relaxed prior to checking in. Our room was exceptionally clean and roomy with a lovely view across some fields. We booked a table for two at the Orangery restaurant and were greeted by a very lovely waitess. The food was wonderful. We retired to bed then woke to a hearty buffet cooked breakfast which was really lovely. We decided to bus into the city and staff were helpful in helping us get on the right bus. Staff throughout our stay were friendly, helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing was wrong, we had a wonderful stay.
