cute decorations, very homey and comfortable. very safe location, very close to a dollar general and an asian restaurant. temperature inside the lodge was comfortable all night, we stayed in the coldest part of the year. our smoking-free room was in fact smoking-free. no obvious signs of nicotine residue on the walls or in the air. no distinct smell in the room.

little to nothing, some lamps were dimmer than the others and it made for some wonky lighting. the walls are thin and there were a few times over our two-day stay where it was noisy being so close to the road. the lodge provided earplugs in our room though :).

Every person at the front desk was friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate us. We asked for extra towels, extra cleaning services and help with the Jacuzzi. We were always met with kindness, and above and beyond service. The rooms were so cute, and smelled clean as soon as you walked in. The lights all worked, and the instructions were clear on how to use everything. The Jacuzzi was nice, and we got it all to ourselves each time! The view from it was incredible, with all the leaves changing and little first animals scurrying around down in the yard. It was extremely conveniently located, less than 20 minutes from everything we had planned to do and see. You cannot beat the price we paid, it was well worth the value if you're looking for a clean, no frills place to stay. We'll be back!

The only thing I didn't like was the coffee! And that's a huge statement considering everything else was amazing. There's several cute coffee shops near by though, and we visited them instead.

The helpfulness of the staff in trying to fix issues. They fixed the weak wifi signal the second day I was there. They reprogramed a tv remote because the on/off button was the only one that worked. They also found an old 12 cup coffee maker I could use in place of the single cup machines in the rooms. I'm a big coffee drinker so being presented with the 12-cup coffee maker was a life saver!! Was given a ground-level room which helped me get my luggage off my motorcycle and into my room easily without having to tote heavy duffle bags up and down stairs.

Single cup coffee makers instead of traditional basket-style 4+ cup machines. Phone service out in all rooms. Weak wifi signal first night (45%-48%). Corrected and better rest of week (70%-74%). Lack of flat (level) parking spaces (half of them were on a slope). Sloped parking is fine for automobiles...but I was on a motorcycle. Luckily I was able to find a level open parking space for my bike every night. I shared a parking slot with another motorcyclist a couple nights which worked out fine.

We loved the room and the location. The room was quiet, cozy, and comfy. We had a perfect getaway night without the kids. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go back for another visit. The bed was pretty comfortable and I loved my forest view from the bed out the window. That jacuzzi tub was phenomenal! The room was very clean.

The only thing I did not like was the creepy guy parked next to our car who was in his car tweaking for hours. Nothing was stolen. I am sure he didn't mess with much because the owners made themselves present frequently to watch things. I did tell him not to touch my stuff and I think it scared him.

I like everything I actually booked the room in a rush. I was on my way back from a work trip out of Topeka Kansas and I didn't get back till super late. Well I called Ryan and he called over to the eureka springs and had the staff here set me up a room last minute with a lockbox on the door. So I was able to just come in at like 2 in the morning and go straight to my room. It was greatly appreciated. Oh and the next morning I slept passed check out I woke up and like 1 in the afternoon didn't even get a knock on the door till a little later when room service showed and was very nice and friendly. Not to mention the fact I was waiting on a paycheck before I could pay for a few more days which the manager let me book before I paid which I very thankful for. .... So thank you lookout lodge, eureka springs, for the excellent stay

This place was amazing!!! It is quaint and woodsy, with a cute bear theme. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The jacuzzi in the room was perfect and clean. The large semi-outdoor seating area hangout spot on the first floor was sooooo great. It is plexiglassed in but has an opening at the top to let heat out and it has large ceiling fans. It was very comfortable for quiet talk late night outside our room (#14). Smoking is allowed in that area, but there is also room to spread out and the roof is so tall and the breezeway has constant movement of air, so the smoking was not very noticeable or disruptive. The staff was very friendly. The shared hot tub area did look like it had been thoroughly trashed the night before when we went to check it out before we left around 11. I would have liked to see it cleaner in case we wanted an early morning hot tub soak with a nature view, but it didn’t mess up our day because we already had the huge jacuzzi tub in the room anyway. The forest view rooms on the back of the building do have a very serene feel when you walk by them and see the forest and steep hill down below. Feels like you’re very secluded. The front of the hotel is clearly not as secluded with a parking lot view and close to the street, but the windows are newer and very quiet. The blackout curtains are top notch. We couldn’t see anything in or out of our room at anytime with them drawn closed. We could not even see a glimpse into any other room, unlike in many other motel-style places. I never heard any movement in rooms below or around us even though the place was fairly well booked during our stay. The inside of rooms look exactly as shown on the website. The staff was friendly and kind. Easy check on.

The shared hot tub area was dirty and needed a lot of cleaning. It looked like it had been thoroughly trashed the night before or had been left open for several days and debris collected inside.

Comfortable beds. Room was clean. Looks like a quaint log cabin from the outside. Gave the feel of staying in a log home. Price for night was less than $50 due to booking online.

No one at the front desk when we got there. Check-in time posted as between 3-9pm. It was 4pm. Note said to call. I did and phone was answered then hung up. Perhaps because I have a California area code. My friend called with local area code and was answered then desk clerk showed up. Room needs a bit more light if you are planning to read a book or magazine.

We have stayed at the Look Out Lodge several times over the years, and we have always enjoyed our stay. The place is neat, clean and comfortable, the surroundings are beautiful and it is a good value.

We did have an issue, when we made the reservation, we believed we were getting a room with a hot tub but when we got there, we found out we didn't. The staff told us the issue was with Booking.com and that they had no control over the pictures Booking.com uses or the how the rooms are represented. The next time we go there, we will book the room directly and avoid confusion.

Overall the place was a good value for the price, clean and a nice place to stay. Not a lot of traffic since it is farther from the town center. Very well decorated room, comfy bed, decent lighting. Excellent view of the woods!

If you have a lower room, thin walls allows you to hear neighbors walking above you. Also adjoining rooms can be heard easily. Our bathroom sink wouldn't drain normally.

Location was excellent, just a few miles outside downtown Eureka Springs. The room was clean and had chairs and small table outside the room on balcony with view of the forest. Very pleasant for morning coffee and evening wine.

We each usually have a couple cups of coffee in the morning but as is the case with most hotels, only two K-cups were provided. The Lodge provided a coffee pot in the common area, but there was no coffee. Bed mattress was a little worn out.
