It's very clean and the AC worked well, especially during the heatwave in California, lately. The night staff lady was very helpful and nice.

The parking space's kind of narrow, and they charge you, even a hotel guest.

It is a nice room, with fridge and coffee maker so technically you can make either coffee or tea and enjoy it by the fire pit that is working from 5 to 10pm. Very nice location, walking distance to everything. But there is fee for the parking on the hotel property.

The pictures showed there is the bath tub in the room but there wasn’t. The fridge is working loudly same as the air conditioner so for sensitive sleeper it won’t work together with the birds by the ocean which were very loud too. We also could not book room with two beds so had to book the second room for the kid ( she is 13).

I recently had a major surgery and had already booked this hotel prior to finding out that I needed the procedure. This hotel was only a short walk away from Cannery Row and Fisherman's Warf and most anything you would need in Monterey, so I got to enjoy being outdoors while getting in my exercise at my own pace. We had a car for excursions further away, but most of what we did over the long weekend was right near the hotel. It was a cooler weekend, but we loved just being able to see water and hear the ocean just about everywhere. The fire pits were a nice place to hangout at the end of your day. Room was comfortable and loved the colors.

A couple more fire pits would have been nice.

Stiff Mattress that is worn in the direction that your head is tilted lower than legs. I know mattresses preference range greatly but between my wife (prefers soft) and myself (prefer firm), but neither were comfortable especially with how it was wearing and resting angle. Water pressure in shower (with no selectable options) made shower times very lengthy to remove soap (even for a short haired male).

Staff very helpful. I liked the layout of building, room had good light, space, clean and very comfy bed. Good shower, again spacious. Parking on site was helpful. Appreciated the fire pits in the evening to sit outside. Good location. Honestly just really liked this hotel, good ambience.

Located in a beautiful part of Monterey a very short distance from the Ocean front. The staff here were first class and so helpful with any requests/information required. The hotel is quite modern and very stylish but also has a very relaxing atmosphere with staff that are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

You would struggle to better anything at this hotel, it is also very reasonably priced with a great parking area for your car.

Conveniently located within walking distance to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, restaurants, shops, and beach access. Our 2nd floor room had fire pits in the common space right outside our door that made for a nice place to end the day. The rooms were updated and felt spacious enough for our family of five (2 adults 3 kids ages 8,5, and 2). We were allowed to park in the garage prior to check in and leave our car after check out to continue enjoying Cannery Row.

It would have been nice to have a view of the ocean and on-site breakfast options.

We love the proximity to the aquarium and restaurants. The best part about this hotel is the staff. They went above and beyond to make my son feel special on his birthday. They had a card (signed by the staff) and balloons in the room when we got there. It really set the tone for our weekend trip.

The location was great - close to many areas we normally visit. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The only issue was the lack of furniture available- chair and/or a small sofa. We were given another desk chair to use.
