The staff I interacted with was friendly and the hotel itself was alright. Breakfast was good but make sure you arrive early otherwise you will wait for a table and for food to be replenished. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was a bit pricey for the area and amenities but we only stayed one night so overall it was fine.

The area is questionable with homeless all around but it's close to area attractions. Our room was clean but strong unpleasant order of feet and dust. I had air freshener with me and that helped. The pool area looked very dreadful with how it was fenced and unfortunately we did not want to get close. Probably making the pool area more inviting would have helped.

Close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, Gaslamp District, Old Town, etc. Our GPS took us through the industrial area behind the hotel which is undesirable and we worried about our choice in hotels. But once on property we were relieved. It is an older property that is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Therefore, parking is tight and pool is small. Breakfast is good. We stayed four nights. Three breakfasts had the same warm offerings. I would have liked variety. But the overall breakfast offerings is very good. The personnel is all very personable, friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

I wish there was more variety in the warm breakfast options. I had to reach to find a dislike. But the location could be a minus to some: Location in proximity to the attractions we visited was perfect. But the immediate area in close proximity is not desirable, which correctly is reflected in the nightly rate that we paid. Therefore, it is a great value in my opinion.

The staff was accommodating and nice, the breakfast was actually decent, I liked that the parking was under the hotel and not outside. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

I didn't like that the parking garage spaces were to close. Some people didn't park within the lines and made it difficult for others to park in spaces between them. I didn't like the noises that the a/c unit made, maybe because the filter wasn't cleaned periodically; ours was full of dirt. The rooms are not very sound proof, you could hear kids crying from down the hall. The outlet for the refrigerator was not fully attached, it came out of the wall.

Every staff member we encountered we’re kind and helpful, that has been really hard to find lately. Check in was quick, our room was clean. Coffee and Tea available all day. Breakfast was actually yummy, omlets/sausages/bacon/eggs/tons of carbs/ yogurts/ fruit and juices. Very close to Sea World/ The Zoo/ Downtown/La Jolla tide pools/Mission Beach

Parking was a nightmare every single time we had to get in. We had a Tahoe and we’re told to park along the back wall for full size vehicles. The problem is alot of the spaces were filled with Sedans that shouldn’t have been parked there. Parking was included in our room rate.

Need gluten free options for breakfast. Location very practical to get around to other attractions around town.

Wi-fi connection very poor.

The property is neat, excellent selection for breakfast, close to Seaworld, Coronado Island and Lajolla Beach. Clean facility plus free parking

The staff was friendly! The pool was a surprise and we were thankful for it. Hot breakfast wasn't packed and was always stocked. Clean and comfortable enough for the two nights. Big enough room and smooth check in and out.

Location was great if you wanted sea world. Otherwise unless you love homeless people yelling at air and sleeping everywhere...not a "safe" location in my opinion. Born and raised in a city of over 1mil people...I've never felt more uncomfortable to even run to my vehicle or even into the CVS across the street. Also the walls and roof was paper thin. We have 4 kids with us and we were woken up at 7am daily by others kids running and screaming down the hallway "playing" then by 8am by kids playing upstairs. No I'm not bashing kids and parents but it is a shared space. Respect and enforcing quiet times would be nice.

Super clean, near a lot of great places that make not being at home convenient to be around in the event something is forgotten. Really close to SeaWorld.

Under-garage parking is nice but is very tight if you have a full size vehicle and do not want to park on the street. The location disturbed me when we arrived and needed to call the # to be let inside for check in. Later in the evening security arrived and my comfort level was met.

location was fantastic for my kids with food choices. It was close to Sea World and the pool was heated. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. So much food to choose from.

if I am being picky I wish there were more hooks on the wall to hang more towels, wet swim suits etc… also our water faucet in the bathroom had very low pressure and was barely more than a trickle, but it was enough to brush our teeth and wash our hands.
