Comfortable rooms and safe facilities

We stayed for 6 days and just got out room cleaned once. They charge a $10 dollar deposit every day that they do not mention during the check-in. On top of that, we were charged $6 extra for no reason.

We actually ended up staying because we missed our flight. The place was pretty comfortable. Lower budget than what I'm used to but surprisingly pretty good. The staff were friendly. We got there before check in time and the young lady actually held our luggage while we went to eat. It's located in the center of everything. Not bad at all.

My only issue was that we had loud neighbors next door but hey that could happen at any hotel.

Restaurants and shops in the area, all attractions in San Diego are easily accessible by car. The rooms are very comfortable.

There was very little room to eat breakfast, it was crowded, not everyone could fit in. Rather poor choice of food at breakfast.

hotel has a great location. 10-15 minutes on whatever you wanna do. 15 min from the zoo 10 min from gaslamp 10 minutes from mission beach! location was great

not really a big deal but not being able to control the temperature to the AC. it has an AC but you have to kinda wake up in the middle of the night if it got to cold.

The place is great for the price, and the breakfast is better than most average hotels of this type. Nothing fancy, but the waffles were delicious, and all the essentials were there. It's also close to many cool things in SD - Old Town, Liberty Public Market, beaches.

It was right on the flight path of departing flights from the airport, so you can hear the airplanes taking off. It's no one's fault, really, but I'm super sensitive to noise, and I should have researched the location a bit better.

Location was good lots of restaurants and shopping near by close to mission beach and ocean beach we were only a few minutes away from Balboa Park and the zoo SeaWorld is within 7 minutes the hotel had free breakfast pretty typical foods cereal oranges apples make a waffle yogurt and bagels simple but will fill you up bathroom was clean beds were comfortable

Carpet was old and dirty walked on it with white sock and it turned black doors were swollen from humidity and hard to open.

The location is perfect, and I didnt see any weird people around the hotel as some has mentioned on previous reviews. Breakfast is simple, but definitely a plus, as many hotels don't offer anything. There were coffee, milk, tea, orange, apples, bread, bagels, waffle machine, oatmeal and yogurt. The room is big, the bed is comfortable, and the AC worked well, it was a very hot weekend! We stayed just two nights, but they changed our towels anyway.

The room was clean, but the carped is old and clearly hard to be cleaned properly. There was also a slight smell, that I'm sure that came from the carpet.

The motel is not new. There have been some updates. The carpet was stained which would have been ok had it been clean. The area around the desk (room 145) had not been vacuumed. Maybe the rest of the room had , but not that area. Also, outlets are not convenient to the beds for charging phones or for sleep apnea devices.
