We checked in late, the staff was very friendly. The room was adequate, property was quiet and the breakfast was good. This was our third hotel during out stay in San Diego. The others had more amenities, however, for the price and location to the airport, it was hard to beat. Btw, the bed was super comfy.

Loved the breakfast (especially the waffles!). Eggs were a little dry but that was no problem. Good coffee too. Room was very comfortable and shower head was awesome. Staff was really friendly and helpful, and let us check out 30 min late because our train was later in the day. Location can't be beat - we took the train and walked everywhere, including to the hotel.

View was of the freeway entrance on the first floor, but that can't really be helped, and we didn't spend much time in our room anyway. Bathroom sink didn't drain very quickly. A good bit of wear and tear on the furniture.

property was great. very nice patio area. only thing I had an issue with was the bath tub. the paint was chipped very badly and made it look gross.

the customer service was great. when we checked in the lady in the front was great. she did offer us another room but the room smelled due to the carpet. we decided to stay with the first room even the bath tub was nasty looking. gentlemen in the morning was polite and inviting. Breakfast was great. the bed was the more comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.

Did not know this was a smoke free facility. Picture showed a smoking area. Picture in websites need to be updated. Probably would have considered this before booking but a good stay nonetheless. Smoking on the street in front of the hotel was not pleasant and did not look good for the hotel.

Good location in San-Diego old town. For $5 you can use Blue Line Trolley station in 10 min walk to go to San-Diego or even Tijuana. Close to the San-Diego Airport

Safe was not working in the room. Swimming pool and hot tube were not working.

Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel considering the situation of a cancelled flight, being stuck at the airport for 4+ hours waiting for luggage and getting a rental car from San Diego to Tracy CA. Thanks for accommodating us. Great situation. Please just leave water out in the lobby 24/7 for customers who are checking out at 5am.

The courtyard with the overhead lights. It was very peaceful sitting out in the evening. My wife and I sat outside after returning from dinner, we sat and talked till it was time to sleep.

Dead bolt to room would not work, and the finding out when when we checked in that there was a parking fee. I don't remember seeing that on the web site. Maybe change that, and if your charging, make it very obvious. It doesn't make checking in a pleasant experience.

Location to Old Town and transportation was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Though it was mentioned that breakfast offerings may be limited due to Covid - many places have brought back the full breakfasts. Would be nice to have had a full access breakfast. Breakfast was “grab & go” -good but not the same.

The breakfast bagels, granola, tea, and sausage. Our remote was not functioning and the receptionist was very helpful and replaced it. Nice to have a table and two chairs in the room.

It would have been nice to have a little more light in the room and curtains that closed all the way. The waffles were more fluffy than crisp.

for a brown bag breakfast, it was ok. I understand were not fully back from covid and all the precautions. the beds were nice. rooms were clean. was very close to walk in the downtown area. Trent, front desk associate. very nice & welcoming.

the price. I thought the price I paid was for 2 rooms. the fan in our bathroom wasn't working.
