Location was good for train travelers and Old Town visitors. Centrally located. Breakfast had eggs and fruit. Bed was comfortable. Windows could be opened.

#1 - shower water wasn't hot enough. #2 the closet in #220 smelled musty so we couldn't use it. Less important: the breakfast ran out of blueberry bagels and they said they would not get more for the weekend. Also just a detail: getting the palm fronds cleared off the trees (yes, probably an expensive job), but it would keep them from landing in the balconies off the rooms. Even though we couldn't step out onto the balcony, having them be clean would enhance the experience.

The property was just beautiful and friendly! The workers are friendly and tend to any needs that may need fixing or looked into and the rooms were so spacious

Only thing I didn’t like was that the curtains was stuck and we couldn’t really close them but we managed to close them with a tie and the sheet had spots of blood on them, we didn’t figure out how to properly use the air conditioner so we set the sheets on the ground and once we did we used our own blankets but in the morning my wife found 2 blood spots on the blankets

The location is right off the freeway and convenient to Old Town and downtown San Diego. It is a 5-minute walk to Old Town. Our first room was the size of half a room, dark with only one lamp and really weird. Brian kindly changed us the second night to a much better room. They have a nice pool and inside patio area. The breakfast had hot food. They have an elevator.

The refrigerator was broken in both of the rooms I had. Lots of electrical plugs did not work. It costs $20.00 a night to park.

It was very close to mcrd San Diego. We were in town for marine corps boot camp graduation and this hotel was right down the street. Took us no longer than 5 minutes to get to gate 5. Very nice staff and nice amenities

There is no house keeping every day. For us that wasn’t a problem but some like that. It is available by request and the day we did request it the house keeping never came.

Loved everything. It was great that there was parking available. Also, it was great to be able to use the pool, and it was a very comfortable temperature. The staff was wonderful, and there were lots of great options for the breakfast-- we loved making our own waffles. The room was generally clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was also really nice to have a mini fridge in the room.

The bathtub/shower floor had a bit of debris. Also while showering, water managed to get on the floor every time, even with proper use of the shower curtain.

We checked in late, the staff was very friendly. The room was adequate, property was quiet and the breakfast was good. This was our third hotel during out stay in San Diego. The others had more amenities, however, for the price and location to the airport, it was hard to beat. Btw, the bed was super comfy.

It was great wish there had been a Jacuzzi I thought there was was looking forward to it. Staff was really nice! The breakfast was great!

We had a suite.. smaller than I would have liked for being a suite but they can't help the building size now. The curtain was torn and so was the comforter on the bed on both items right in the middle needed some upgrading done on the decor would definitely have helped very outdated. A staff was overall great but when I did ask for a couple of things it was hours before I got them and I had to reask. Overall not a bad place just needs a definite uplift little dreary

I love my room. It was clean and had everything I needed, including a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable, which help me sleep better. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion for guest to used. There was also a safe and iron for me to used.

My only disappointment was the facility is not allowed to provide half and half or regular milk. They are only allowed to provide 2 percent milk.

Great location, easy to walk to Old Town & train station. Staff were very friendly & helpful (stored my luggage until I could check-in, came to the room to show me how the TV remote worked) great breakfast, appreciated use of the microwave in the evening, very comfortable bed/room and enjoyed the deep bathtub!

The pool was being worked on, although I might not have got into the pool as the weather was a little on the cool side!

Breakfast was great with several hot food choices. Room was comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Also. it's close to the base if you are going to see Your child graduate from the Marines.

The only negative thing i can say is that if did not expect the$20 per night to park in their garage and I think it should be stated at booking.
