Our room was very clean, and it was nice being able to step right outside and go down to the bay to eat our first meal in San Diego by the water. Everybody working in the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they recommended some great activities for my brother and I to celebrate his high school graduation!

For the price, I wish there were some option for included breakfast. We ended up crossing the street after trying the hotel breakfast to eat at Winchell's and Better Buzz instead so we could have some less expensive options.

I really liked the valet person and the gentleman who was checking us in. We didn’t get either of their names but had great conversations with them. ☺️

Only thing we didn’t like was that the place locks front door at 10 pm abd we didn’t know how to get in and called and the night audit was not at front desk. The next day we spoke to same guy about our experience and he was very apologetic and said he needed to speak to night staff as someone should be at front desk at all times. He also comped our breakfast as we tried the restaurant on property. We felt the care and concern from the staff it made the experience at this location better for our inconvenience. We will def stay here again for future stays in SD

Interior was beautiful & clean, restaurant & courtyard was great.

Parking is non-existent, forcing you to pay for valet. Restaurant staff was friendly but slow.

the place is beautiful

they charged me 75 dollars pet fee by mistake and the promised to return that money and they haven’t returned it. I had no pets with me. they also charged a deposit when I had paid in advanced and I don’t know anything about what happened with that deposit, I didn’t have anything else but the price per night that had been already paid. I’d like to receive a bill or receipt that explains everything that was charged to me. In my opinion personnel was confused about what charged me and they got confused and made mistakes. I would like them to double check my account. thanks

The room was spacious with a big bathroom and good natural light.

The receptionist was unfriendly. She would respond short and looked annoyed from our questions. Also, we requested housekeeping once and the receptionist said she would send them, but the room was left unclean for a day. We had to ask for toilet paper twice because they wouldn't supply enough.

It was a beautiful hotel with kind service and close proximity to food & shopping.

There was not any parking (unless you used the valet) for our son to use when he came to pick us up/ drop off. He was not able to come in and visit with us. We had to hurry and coordinate when he was coming so we could hop in the car while he circled the block. It would have been nice if he could have parked in the garage without having to use a valet.

The design and aesthetic were very good. The beds were very comfortable. we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the beautiful courtyard. The location of the hotel is outstanding, it’s very convenient to many parts of San Diego.

On their entertainment system there is no option to sign into Netflix or any of the premium services. It is strictly cable TV. Also I did not care for the sliding louvered doors in the bathroom, as they did not offer much privacy. The restaurant was extremely overpriced with a very limited menu. I think what really annoyed me was that a $16 breakfast plate came with only 1/2 piece of toast! Both of our breakfasts came with overcooked eggs, not the way we had requested them. We had breakfast outside and the service was so so.

The hotel was cute, the decor and colors had a beach feel to it. The atmosphere wasn’t bad, the beds were comfy.

The location isn’t the greatest. The hotel looks like it doesn’t belong there and they don’t have parking other than $15 valet parking. Normally I don’t mind paying for parking but that seemed overpriced for the location of this hotel. You might get lucky and find a spot in the street like we did.

The hostess Jackie in the restaurant was extremely kind and helpful with info about the area. The parking attendant on duty when we arrived at about 9pm found my phone in the rental car and went out of his way to make sure it was returned. The customer service was absolutely excellent when we checked and and out of our stay!

with four travelers the louvered barn door style bathroom door is a poor choice in regards to privacy. the parking situation is not good either. the only option is valet because the street parking is always full. gets expensive for a longer stay. also the water pressure on the third floor is not great.
