Great location, right down the street from a killer coffee shop, walking distance to Liberty Market, and close to the airport. Young man at the front desk was kind of shy but friendly enough. Clean, nicely decorated room. Big comfortable bed. For spending 2 days of sightseeing in San Diego after a business trip in Temecula, I made a really good choice and wound up with a nice little room in a great location, at a great price. But the reason I gave this property a low rating for "Facilities" is: 1) Parking lot is very small and hard to find a spot when coming back late; 2) The table was too small for me to set up comfortablly with my laptop and guitar; 3) No bench to place my suitcase on; 4) They turned my room's closet into a mini kitchenette with a microwave and coffee maker, but I would have preferred the closet and hangers for hanging up my clothes.

The gentleman at the desk was very welcoming and friendly. Check-in was quick and super easy, the location is central to all the amenities in Point Loma with plenty of amazing restaurants and scenery within walking distance. The room itself was perfect for the price, and the comfort of two guests. It was clean, private, and super comfy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to those looking for a budget friendly place to vacation.

Every aspect of our stay was great, no complaints!

I like the fact that there is a stove and toaster oven in the room. And coffee machine.

Most important to me as a senior citizen: please add safety bars in the shower. If I slip or get dizzy there is nothing to grab. Secondary in importance, I would suggest patching up and painting some of the wood, especially in the bathroom. Third, the room was stuffy. Several windows wouldn't open because the window weights were broken.

They allowed dogs for a small fee and the location was close to the beach. The manager was able to get in early and upgraded our room at no extra charge.

The location was perfect. Very short taxi ride to/from the airport. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. There was also a grocery store down the street, walking distance, which was very convenient. Everywhere we wanted to go was 20 mins drive from the hotel. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was also SO clean.

There were no dishes or utensils to use the kitchenette. Just a few paper cups available. However we did not ask for these, so we were uncertain if these were an option we needed to ask for.

Clean, affordable stay for late arrival at midnight, staff outstanding as we were delayed, family run, two double beds comfortable firm mattresses good pillows, clean crisp sheets, some road traffic noise but not bad. Excellent shower pressure! No chairs, table or closet though.

Needs a tree stand with a few hangers and a suitcase stand would have been nice. Decaf coffee pods too but I probably could have asked for some.

great proximity to the airport. across the street from the infamous Pearl restaurant and the beloved Mitch’s Seafood. A good place to rest our head before beginning our desert travels. Friendly check in.

We loved the kitchenette that was provided in the Queen Suite, but weren’t able to cook because we didn’t think to bring cooking-wear. Everything worked, and we were very happy with our stay overall.

The floors were very dirty and in need of mopping. Otherwise, room was very clean.

This is my 1st visit to San Diego. I drove from Minnesota with my daughter who got a great job here. Tired from the road, I came to this hotel based on the reviews about it and Max the manager. He is an exceptional person who did everything to make sure my stay was comfortable. This is an older hotel with pretty remodeled rooms, very homey and a block from the docks and great seafood restaurants. My picture for "outside" is the dock area down the street. Also there are stores on the block for needed goods. It is close to Ocean Beach too. The staff here we're great and everything was very clean. I decided to stay another week...thank you staff and Max! 🤗

The staff was very kind and helpful. The man working at the front desk gave me a secure place to store my luggage until check-in time, and he also allowed me to tour the available rooms and choose my favorite which was very kind. The room was spacious and the location is perfect – very close to the San Diego Airport as well as walking distance from Starbucks and other restaurants.

A free breakfast would have been a nice touch, but I knew that this wasn't included! And perhaps some plastic utensils in the kitchenette would have been appreciated, as my Uber Eats driver forgot to include them in my delivery order. But overall, my stay was excellent!
