It is a beautiful and clean hotel. Comfortable and large rooms. Good breakfast.

The only thing we did not like this time, at truly no fault of the hotel, is that we were placed next to a family. Typically this would not be an issue as we ourselves have three children. However, the two children in the room next to us cried almost the whole time they were awake. It is possible one of them was sick as we heard coughing often. The bad thing is that there is a connecting door to the rooms and it seems to be paper thin. My husband and I had no children this visit and it was to specifically send some quality, quiet time together. It wasn’t awful by any means but just to acknowledge that the neighbors to the rooms can be heard very easily.

Starters: The rooms are huge and very clean. The beds are comfy. The bathroom has two separate areas for shaving and makeup. This is great when there are two in the room. The seating was composed of two new recliners, a small table and chairs. The hotel also offers seating areas throughout the building fro people to just sit and chat. Our family really enjoyed the chance to have a lovely space to realx together. The breakfast buffet is excellant. The mornings we were at the hotel, we enjoyed biscuits and gravy, two kinds of sausage, scrambled eggs, egg casserole, waffles and more. The staff is very accomodating. We have stayed in various hotels in the Middlebury/Shipshewanna area and this has been the best.

I really enjoyed our entire stay and the only thing that might have been better was a restaurant on site. That would be a bonus. Otherwise we have zero complaints.

First off I have to say the ladies running the front desk are always smiling and friendly, makes checking in nice.The housekeepers, though they don't clean your room every day, if you need anything they are happy to get it for you and they do a wonderful job!! Used the pool for the first time it was great. They have alot of choices for breakfast bicuits and gravy, make your own waffle or pancakes, cereals, donut holes, make your own breakfast burritos to name afew. It is very close to the theater and shops, restaurants.

The one thing that we didn't like was the toilet paper holder is so close to the toilet, don't understand why it isn't on the otherside of the toilet on the other wall.

Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and spacious with very comfortable bed and pillows. I liked the extra sink outside the bathroom. The location was great-easy drive to Blue Gate Performing Arts Center. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have experienced and the dining room was spacious and relaxing. The staff were very friendly, smiling and helpful.

I really can't think of anything we didn't like. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay very much! I mean, if it had cost less that would have been nice-but I was happy with everything.

It’s decorated perfectly for the area. Its name perfectly matches the style of the Inn. We loved it! If someone is expecting chandeliers and fancy furniture, they may be surprised to see the country look and feel. It was super clean! That’s number one for me! The staff could not be any nicer either. We were very comfortable there. They have nice indoor pools and a hot tub, and a great breakfast!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Some things could be updated some, but none of that bothered us at all. We enjoyed our stay!

Breakfast was very good! The location of the motel was great! And it was well maintained and beautifully decorated. Also, we LOVED the reclining chairs and comfortable beds in our room, especially because of my back issues!

We would have liked being closer to the breakfast area and pool. It is difficult for me to walk that far. Also, the pool was cold and, although we had fun, we would have enjoyed it more if it had been a little warmer. If we could be on the lower west wing next time, it would be perfect!

Room/bed was comfortable/clean. The reclining chairs were really comfortable. Best I have ever seen in a hotel. Loved the Christian atmosphere. Loved the note from our housekeeper telling us Jesus loves us. Where else would you get a note like that???? Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly. Able to park and see our car right outside our room.

We were on an end room, 2nd floor just up from the staircase, so a bit noisy. Also people above us couldn't walk in the room without really pounding down with their feet. Requested on the booking app a quiet room away from elevator and ice machine and while room was away from ice machine and elevator, was right by the staircase.

The facilities, rooms, cleanliness, and all staff except one were excellent! The facilities are beautiful, a little out-dated, but very clean. The room was simple but adequate. The location was perfect!

The nighttime desk clerk was not welcoming and quite rude. I waited several minutes while he was on the phone to ask him a question. He was very professional and polite on the phone, but to me, in person, was very curt! Very disappointing!

My friend Theresa and I had a wonderful fun time at your hotel and all the Shipshewana shopping and flea market. Our room was PERFECT.... we asked our housekeeper just for clean towels and she did.. told her that she did not have to change the sheets as we were staying two nights. We especially loved the pool and the hot tub and the ping pong AND the amazing buffet breakfast! you and your staff treated us like we were royalty -I feel we choose the correct week to visit as all the kids were back in school.. We will shout it from the rooftops about THE FARMSTEAD and we will definitely stay there again next year. Thank you Thank you a millions times!!!!!!! you're the best

nothing you could do... Though I feel the frustration of all ongoing construction

Very accommodating staff, comfortable beds, clean spacious room, good breakfast. Recreational facilities were very good: pool, basketball court, ping pong room, fitness center. Easy to get to the Pumpkin Vine Trail from the Farmstead. This was our second stay at the Farmstead. We were on the first floor near the main lobby, and it could get a little noisy there early in the morning and after 10 p.m.--not the fault of the hotel; just inconsiderate guests.
