Convenient to Thompson Point and the Airport as well as all points in Portland.

Staff seemed up against it in terms of some difficult clientele and overall support from the Clarion Brand. Certain areas like the restaurant seemed promising but like a ghost town in the morning. Just seemed like the folks here are doing double the work at all times compared to other establishments in town. All are good people. The rooms themselves are clean, but they again look like they need investment from the brand, lots of rusting in the bathrooms, broken/clap shod molding and struggles with elevator maintenance.

I love the convenience of the hotel to the bus that services Boston South Station &n Boston's Logan Airport. The desk staff is always helpful & the room is always clean & comfortable. They are always willing to try & meet my need for a quiet room locaiton. Some comments note that has an older decor, but over the years that I have stayed here it has always met my needs & I've never had a complaint.

No real dislikes -- maybe a heating/cooling system that I didn't hear click on & off, but this would never stop me from staying here. And I am always comfortable & warm or cool enough in my room.

This is my go-to hotel for convenient access to airport and bus/train transportation when traveling from Portland. I appreciate that it has consistently been the same over yrs I have used it -- easy check-in & clean, quiet room. There is a great little local Italian deli--Anania's, an easy walk across street where can pick up freshly made Italian sandwich for your trip or meal.

I don't have any dislikes; it's an older hotel and hasn't been glitzed up but that is fine with me given the convenience.

Clarion on congress st in Portland maine. It was the best experience I've had in years. Everyone that was staff were so helpful friendly caring. Front desk staff exceptional. My partner an i lost our townhouse to a fire. I understand that july is peek season as far as prices. They all treated us as good as allowed. We spent over $3000 less then a month. Our townhouse was in Hollis. Unfortunately we ran out of our savings an the hotel could not except the town of Hollis GA payments. We thank everyone an understood the policy during time Portland GA was using hotels for homeless. I dnt blame the Clarion not having that.

I only wish that a exception. Could of been made because we were from Hollis displaced by a fire. Not homeless from the shelter. I would definitely use the clarion again.

Close to the Amtrak depot and for buses to down town Portland. The breakfast choice was really good and the room was a good size with access for hose with disabilities (which did not apply to us)

The aircon: could not find how to adjust the temperature and the room was too warm to sleep comfortably.

Hotel was nice. I usually stay at one closer to the airport, but since the price was better here and it said it offered Shuttle to and from the airport, I chose this one, only to find my plane arrived at 11:30 p.m. and they quit running shuttles at 11;00. So I had to pay for 2 taxis (6 people and luggage), so I might as well have stayed at the one closer. Everyone working at this hotel was extremely nice and welcoming.

Breakfast was OK, we also had drinks and apps at the restaurant one evening. It was close to some good restaurants, walking distance, and we felt safe walking the half mile there and back. Very convenient to the airport! Very comfortable bed.

The bathroom was a little outdated, the toilet stuck a few times when flushing and the grout in the shower needed better cleaning or repair.

I came by bus from northern Maine. I could walk to the Clarion easily from the bus station, and walk back the next morning to catch a bus to Logan airport for my flight to Europe. it was very convenient, quiet, clean and comfortable. Just what I needed. Thanks

Room is big. Comfy bed. Ref, microwave and coffee maker available in the room. They have heated pool and gym although didn't have time to use them. Big parking lot.

The drain in the bathtub was not okay. Water too slow to drain out.

the location worked for me being right next to the transportation centre and also a short walk to Bissell Brothers brewery. transport is easy into town by bus or taxi and there’s also a bus that takes you up to Freeport. The hotel is unfussy, but comfortable.

the hotel could do with a refresh of the decor it is quite dated.
