location was excellent ease of access was awesome we especially loved the breakfast snack nook on each floor it had coffee a way to fill your water bottle ice snacks cups everything was all there on every floor. the rooms were large a beautiful and spacious the staff was awesome clean well-appointed it checked all the boxes. Sometimes these older boutique hotels are disappointing like the room is small and such but this hotel was off the charts the outdoor area the lobby we loved it. The elevator was broken while we were there and they gave us a free app or cocktail and were super helpful

great location - you can walk to tons of bars and shop and restaurants. the hotel has a wonderful area in the back with fire pit. food was great and all around everything was wonderful.

Super comfy bed, spotless room, exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff, and a location that’s right in the middle of all things Portland! We wish our stay could have been longer! We especially liked the complimentary coffee, water, and snacks that were provided. We’ll definitely stay again!

This is only a little thing, but we did wish the chairs in our room were more comfortable. Everything else was so lovely, but the chairs were not very well cushioned. On the bright side, the bed was beyond comfy! Also, although we did pay for it, we thought the cost for overnight valet hotel parking was steep.

Great location for walking the city. High end hotel- nice to have the coffee/tea bar available each morning!

Everything was lovely, but service at the bar and at breakfast was pretty slow! Parking fees went up 40% since our last visit in June 2021.

This hotel was acceptionally nice. Bellhop's were friendly and helpful. Staff was nice. We had a view of the harbor. Everything was within walking distance. It had a relaxed yet high end atmosphere. There wzs a pantry on each floor that supplied water, coffee, hot tea, candy, fresh fruit, and ice. This is definitely a place I Would come to again!

The room was smaller than expected from the pictures. A queen suite should be labeled a full suite because it contained a full bed not a queen. There were also people smoking pot in the rooms around us which was quite unappealing. The odor was very strong. The building was non-smoking. This was reported to the young man who came to look at our air-conditioning unit. Which leads to the next issue, our air-conditioner had to be reset several times because it quit working. On those occasions, it got quite hot in our room. When I come back, i just would make reservations in a bigger room with a king bed.

Came up to Maine for a spring break trip. We are so glad we came pre-tourist season and that we stayed at PHH. It’s in a great location for walking and only 15 mins from the airport. The room was nice and the amenities were great. The staff was so kind and helpful!

Wish they had some GF treats out (they have a little coffee/tea set up on each floor with some treats!) and real mug versus disposable ones. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice.

We loved this hotel! I requested a quiet room away from the elevators, and they actually honored my request. Our room was super-quiet, and because it was the corner room at the end of a hallway, it was huge. We also appreciated the guest pantry on our floor, well-stocked with coffee, tea, water, and snacks.

Breakfast was expensive, but we knew that it would be. Blueberry pancakes were great, though, and we liked not having to leave the hotel in the morning!

Comfortable, clean, and good location. Nice that they have bottled water and coffee on each floor. The bar was nice for a glass of wine after working all day.

Bathrooms need some attention. The shower control would slip back and would change the temperature of my water. The flush on the toilet malfunctioned my second night. Told the cleaning staff and mentioned when I checked out, the front desk staff was not especially apologetic. I hope they plan upgrades in the near future Parking is pricey.

Proximity to everything was great. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The refreshment station with coffee and snacks was excellent. Love it.

The shower door did not close properly causing water to leak out of the shower. Had to use towels to capture the water. Paying for parking at the hotel was also a bit surprising as I was informed that we had to use the valet service which would charge us for every night we stayed. Not something we are used to when vacation and staying at a hotel.
