We could have just taken a taxi or Uber, which probably would have been cheaper. My daughter and I stay at this location every summer when I travel from Los Angeles to take her to summer camp on the east coast. I've always loved how clean the rooms are and how wonderful the bathrooms and showers are. The bed is comfortable as well (which seems rare in hotels these days). While some rooms are a lot smaller than others, I've never minded too much. We've used the gym and loved it! Part of the equipment was in a room that was under renovation, but we could tell that it was a very large gym when completed (i.e. multiple floors!). We used the treadmills (Technogym) and noticed that room was fully stocked with many different weights. Everything was super new and in fantastic condition, which cannot be said about most hotels fitness equipment which is always outdated. They even had the Lululemon Mirror and Pelotons which is a super nice touch. We've ordered room service a few times and it has always been good, especially the breakfasts. The hotel bar/ restaurant is always busy and lively. The only recommendation I would have would be to add more wine selections :) I also love the location which is super close to everything and walking everywhere is very easy (a super quick walk to The North End, Faneuil Hall, Gov't Center T Stop etc). The staff has always been 10/10 from the Front Desk, Bell Hop, Concierge and Housekeeping. See you next summer!

The only thing I could think of is the wine offerings at the hotel restaurant and bar. I understand a lot of that has to do with the particular clientele and Boston is much more of a "beer town" it seems :) But this is so minor compared to everything else about this property which is wonderful!!

My partner and I do quite a few hotel breaks a year, and we like to pick somewhere nice to truly feel we are away from all the stresses and rigmarole of everyday life. I can honestly say, however, in all my years of travel, I have never stayed somewhere as exceptional as the Langham, Boston. I am only just back in Ireland today after a 4 day stay and I am still raving about it to anyone who'll listen! So much so I am posting my first booking.com review! The experience we had at the Langham from start to finish was first class. After flying up from New York, we were pleasantly greeted on arrival and asked could concierge and team help us with anything from bags to a bite to eat or suggestions for evening sightseeing. We then checked into our executive club queen room. The room itself is spacious and the recent renovation shows. The decor is stylish, the high windows provide gorgeous light, and the furniture (most especially the bed!) is very comfy. It felt like the Langham had really captured the maritime tradition of the city in its fittings and colour choices. The whole room is spotlessly clean and maintained as such throughout the stay (which, although expected, is a big plus considering some mixed experiences I've had at luxury hotels down the years). The bathroom, complete with overhead shower, is likewise beautiful. The hotel itself also boasts a stunning decor. Building on its history as a federal reserve bank, the Langham has outfitted the space in a way that nods to its traditional roots while still incorporating all the comforts required for 21st century travel. The Grana Restaurant and the Fed Bar in particular have been spared no expense. While budgeting is always a key concern for those on the go, upgrading to the Executive Club in this hotel is definitely worth the money. The club, located on the 8th floor, provides a gorgeous view of Boston's financial heart.

Great non- intrusive air conditioning! Fabulous smelling hand soap/ shampoo/ conditioner ! A beautiful special added touch - an ice cream cupcake sundae with sparkler for my daughter’s birthday . Beds sooo comfortable! Staff very caring and very helpful

Last minute booking and hospitality was outstanding, from the gentleman who initially greeted us at the door, to reception staff, bell boy/porter and restaurant servers. Staff went above and beyond - offering a free UG on check-in, to a beautiful suite, with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine delivered to the room, on ice, to celebrate an anniversary. Pool area relaxing, (although jacuzzi was incredibly hot) - area well maintained and facilities more than adequate. Beautifully decorated for the festive season and the bar area was inviting, with a real vibe about it. Definitely recommend and would certainly stay again.

Only down side - no bath in the suite - shower only.

This was a nice location in walking distance to many of Boston's main attractions. Our room was beautiful, and had enough space that me and my 3 kids felt like we had room to move and open our bags. The staff here, in particularly Jenna, the concierge, was above and beyond kind and helpful. Jenna helped my family book our ferry to Nantucket plus a car service to and from.

We did not love our dining experience at the restaurant, the service, taste and value did not meet our expectations. The restaurant is very beautiful and maybe it was just a off day. I would not let this deter you from this hotel.

The attention to detail is apparent as soon as you enter the property . Friendly staff greet you before seeing your rooms for the first time . Our loft suite on the second floor was beautifully furnished and decorated . So comfortable - almost made leaving it a chore . Having the second half bathroom a huge asset . The Langham club on the eighth floor was again , so comfortable and welcoming with the help of the excellent staff . Sad to check out at the end of our stay . Anxious to return .

The only blemish was the sound proofing between rooms or lack of . Although no fault of the Hotel, our neighbours had restless baby(s ) and the noise was very apparent, also noted upstairs in the loft area . There appeared to be quite a lot of children on property during our stay and noise levels and general poor behavior particularly in the Langham club was disappointing. Again, no fault of the property, more the fault of parents who should have instilled how to behave in places like this to their children .

The hotel is beautiful and rooms gorgeous. Recommend the 8th floor if you do the Executive Ckub. The most exceptional thing about this hotel is it’s team, they are amazing, friendly, very kind and go out if their way to accommodate and help.

We loved everything. If there was a recommendation it would be to expand the room service menu to include child friendly meals as very small menu. But the food is very fresh.

Beautifully furnished, incredibly clean throughout. The pool and fitness centre were a huge bonus. The room was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed.

The bar area felt quite exclusive/ posh. We would have preferred something more casual and relaxed. The lights in the room were a bit confusing to work and the system took a bit of getting used to.

Beautiful, luxurious, and modern rooms/bathroom. The entire hotel was extremely clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking garage was a few steps away from the hotel entrance. Beautiful pool and sauna.

The shower is beautiful but it is very easy to wet the entire bathroom floor because of the single glass slab. The provided shower gel/shampoo/conditioner containers should be relocated to the far end of the shower stall. You hit them with your arms when showering because they are located on the side wall of the stall.
