We were a bit disappointed because we thought we were going to be in a cottage when we booked but instead we booked a room. Was very deceiving..

The cottage was fantastic, plenty of room, very clean and up to date. Mark helped me with a booking mistake. I surprised my wife with the trip and told her about the cottages. When we got there, I was told that I had actually booked a room not a cottage. This trip was our first to Cape May and we were celebrating our 40th anniversary. My wife understood the mistake was mine, but Mark upgraded us to the cottage I thought I had booked for a small upcharge. That saved the weekend for us and it could not have been nicer. Thanks so much.
The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be back, and my wife wants to make this an annual event for us.

The room was quite clean and painted and upgraded. It had a small fridge, hair dryer, and bath and hair products. It had plenty of drawer space and hanging area. It had a nice community kitchen area to have coffee or warm up a meal. It also had a few tables in the kitchen area to share a meal. It had a balcony with chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view.
It was slightly small with small sink in the bath. The hot water was REALLY hot so be careful with small children, It had a nice area behind the motel for short walks to the pool. It was local to almost everything but still needed a car. It was close to an intersection and was a little loud as cars took off from the lights.

We were not aware of the facility serving breakfast. Short drive to attractions. We took the horse & carriage tour. Heard more about the history of Cape May. We had no idea about the concrete ships built during WWI. The aviation museum was good. Seeing all of old planes. Lots of history in Cape May. The ferry crossing was very comfortable with inside seating, snacks, gift shop and large screen TV's , Had the best stew tomatoes at the Lobster House.
Floor was dirty when we arrived. We had to request housekeeping to come clean the floors. The housekeeper did sweep the floors. But vacuuming or damp mop would have been a lot better. Little black particles transferred from my feet to into the bed.

Waterfall at the seculed pool is gorgeous. Beautiful flowers in property. Mark and Miguel are very friendly staff and made me feel welcome and safe. I would recommend this place to any other single woman traveling alone to cape may who wants to stay in a beautiful, clean, and relaxing space. The pool is big enough to swim, but still has an intimate feel. I stayed in the king cottsge #3, the beach bum. The jacuzzi hot tub and private cottage, while expensive at $530 a night, was truely the most relaxing spot I have found in all my years at cape may. I will be recommending this to all my friends, and definitely staying there again. 11/10 would recommend to everyone!!!
I did not like many of the men who were also guests staying there, but that is not the fault of the inn. I recommend here instead of the Grand Hotel because there is not alcohol served on premise.

It was one of the nicest and cleanest places my family have ever been to. The location was nice and the pool was beautiful and relaxing.
I would have preferred having one of the cabins. Also, it would have been great if there was a washer and dryer at this place.

Very clean, tastefully updated with nice beach theme. Pool was very nice with water fall feature. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. The cottages look very cute but we stayed in the main building.
Lack of outlets to plug phones in next to beds. No iron in room (did not ask office, may be available as needed?) Cigarette disposal is right in front of rooms on first floor (main hotel building) so smokers were walking past when we sat out front and left cigarettes that continued to emit smoke near us.

Location, first floor room, nice large bed & vanity, clean & bright room.
Not enough exposed putlets - all located in bathroom - inconvenient for charging phones & tablets. No outlet by the vanity which whould have been convenient for curling iron & hair dryer. Had to use outlet behind one bed - not convenient!

Beds and pillows were very comfortable! Our room was very spacious, updated and clean! The tiny cottages in the back of the property are adorable, we will definitely be staying in one of those in the future! Although we didn’t get to use it, the pool looked relaxing with plenty of lounge chairs!
Driveway was a little difficult to get out of, but that’s only bc the traffic light is right there on the corner of property. This doesn’t effect our likelihood of staying here again though!
