Very central location, great staff, they had complementary events in the lounge area (wine tasting) and the lounge itself was a lovely space. Decor was cool and unique. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure (though the toilet we had was a littler temperamental 😆) There was a tourism book in the room that actually proved to be very helpful. Decent amount of space for stuff (could use more)

It was a great place, so take this with a grain of salt… The room did not have a little fridge. We stayed 4 nights and we were really banking on having one. There was a $25/day charge and we were told there were many things to “make up for it” like spa credits, restaurant credits, etc… but the spa and restaurant were not open half the days of our stay. And, not really a big complaint but the room had a lot of “wasted space” where another surface - seat, counter, table, etc might have been handy.

loved the style, color, of the building rooms. loved the friendliness of front desk staff, janitorial staff, valet staff and bell hop staff. room was very comfortable as well. morning coffee tasted fresh and delicious. The hotel had a restaurant and spa as well.

location had homeless and weird individuals right on the corner and front of building. My family and I rushed to the hotel before 8pm to avoid our child being exposed to the homeless and weird individuals that looked like they were doing illegal activities. we wished the hotel also had more movie channels such as prime, Netflix, Hulu and Disney plus. the direct TV was slow and the remote didn’t work all the time.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and quiet, we couldn't hear anything outside our room, not even any of the other rooms' doors opening or closing. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great, we didn't need to grab additional pillows from the closet

The valet parking cost was a bit excessive, we got charged $52 a night, and electric cars were $45, I do not know why the difference between one type of car and the other. The room didn't have a coffee machine. I wish I knew there was coffee available in the morning in the lobby.

Breakfast? Was there a breakfast? Hotel Location was easy to find coming into downtown Portland from the highway. We did not enjoy being approached outside by what appeared to be a wandering, erratic (homeless? addict?) street person/woman immediately after we pulled up to the curb to check in at the front desk the first night of our stay. It was literally the first impression of our experience in staying there for four nights. Additionally, there was another man hanging out that night just outside the parking ramp entrance surveying our activity as we were navigating parking. Hotel Staff was genuinely pleasant and helpful from the minimal daily interaction we experienced. The beds were very comfortable, the room appeared clean, but upon our arrival the fridge didn’t work, although a working one was brought in to the room prior to the end of our stay. Room was ample space.

See above.

Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and we absolutely loved the bird wall paper!! All of the decor was unique and lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and we took advantage of the valet parking which put our car in a secure lot inside the building. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and a lovely bakery a short walk away for a delicious morning treat. Requested a room away from the elevator and were given almost the furthest room from the elevator, which was perfect. Did not hear any noise from other guests or rooms.

The location was great and staff was very attentive. Our beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.

What I didn’t like is some thing that Hotel doesn’t have much control over. There was a lot of trash on the streets across from the building. We had been told to expect some negative changes in Portland, and were pleased to find out. It hadn’t changed that much.

The check in staff are super friendly, the decor is incredible. A really comfortable stay for downtown Portland. It was a haven away from Portland's current drugs crisis. The hair dressers adjoining is so nice. I had a blow out with Natalie and great conversation.

We loved everything about the hotel, however, we are disappointed with the help we received about where was safe to go and where to avoid. We felt a little alone and vulnerable out there. It's not the hotel's fault, but right now Portland is at its worst with homelessness, drug use in the streets, and those on drugs shouting and roaming the streets. It's a very scary place. I really think it's time that Portland started to admit it's issues and that hotel staff should be honest, and advise people where to avoid at all costs but devise a plan on where people can safely go.

The room was very cute. The space was decorated in a unique way that felt very inviting for my first time in Portland. It really didn't feel like a chain hotel, but rather an upscale stay. The concierge people were always very nice. They allowed us to check in early without an extra charge. I didn't indulge, but there were pastries available at the front desk and the lobby area was also very unique and gorgeous.

Truly everything was spectacular. My only negative comment is that it was loud outside, but I think we happened to stay on trash day, so the trash vehicles coming down the street very loud. Nothing the hotel could have done to prevent this, and certainly wouldn't deter me from staying here again.

Cool hotel - cool rooms!

Twice during the night different individuals were shouting outside, perhaps due to mental health issues. Unfortunately this significantly affected our ability to sleep and get adequate rest and affected my partners energy during the following day. I realize this is an issue not totally in the control of the hotel, but it still affected our stay. A second minor issue was the valet phone extension didn’t seem to work well as I tried calling twice with no pickup - the valet called me back but couldn’t hear me. I ended up just going down to the garage and having my car retrieved there though we were on a time crunch so the call ahead service would have been nice.

Very cool hotel with lovely, comfortable room.

This part of downtown has a lot of boarded up and vacant businesses. There are street people camping in tents around the corner and lying on the sidewalks near, and sometimes in front of, the hotel. They keep to themselves mostly beyond asking for spare change now and then but you have to dodge their debris and urine puddles. It's really sad to see but unavoidable in today's cities. One thing that the rooms lack is a mini fridge - we missed that feature.
