We had a great stay at this hotel! We were lucky to get a corner room that had lots of windows no hallway traffic (we only heard people occasionally when they were getting ice across the hall from us). It was so nice having almost a studio apartment for the room, and we always came back to a freshly made bed and clean bathroom after spending the day out. The toiletries in the bathroom were great as well.

We didn't know about the complimentary water bottles until almost the end of the stay, so it would have been nice if we were offered those when we arrived (but that was minor).

The people that work in that hotel were amazing truly exceptional. Plus it was a very central location for what we wanted to do. Didn't drive more than 10 minutes anywhere. Naquan was an amazing person who checked us in and helped us all the time. Great man.

Well the parking although convenient cost too much. That sucked added $100 to our 3 night stay. The pool was cold. My kids turn blue. And bed was to soft for me cause of back surgery.

Location was great.

The rooms could use some maintenance. we had paint peeling off the ceiling and the shower leaked. For what we had to pay each night, ownership could at least keep up with the maintenance. The rooms were looking a little run down.

It was in the center of everything perfect location, it was clean, 2 free bottles of water a day was a nice touch. They have two bars, one in lobby and a rooftop bar that sales beer by the ounce., it gets super crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.

Front desk staff not very friendly nor helpful. They serve the same breakfast everyday, throw some pancakes or potatoes, turkey sausage or omelets in there for a change, would be nice. Pillows were terrible too soft and the air conditioner was too loud.

lots of dust everywhere. They really didn’t do a very good job of cleaning room. luckily I carry Lysol wipes so was able to resolve.

mrs raschica was absolutely fantastic. she responded so quickly to my many emails and helped out with extra amenities for a friends birthday and really made it an amazing stay for us ! the hotel itself was like an apartment it had everything we needed and some. i was blown away and i honestly can not wait to stay there again!this was one of the best experiences i've had with any hotel i've ever stayed at! i can not express enough really how happy we all were with every single little detail while staying here

not a thing ! perfection all around

Beautiful and spacious hotel. It felt very private since there was a non-lobby entrance that lead right to the elevators, it made coming and going seamless. Room was like a small apartment! Full kitchen, counter hight island/table with chairs, comfortable couch, rotating TV so you could watch from the living area or the bed, the list goes on! It was also VERY quiet. I don't think I heard anyone else and I slept very well. I would stay here again any day!

The staff wasn't the most professional or efficient. When I checked in they were busy talking to each other about gift cards they received, completely irrelevant to the hotel. They were good enough, but more the kind of service you expect at a coffee shop or something, not a quality hotel. When I checked out the gentleman took ages to update my info. So either they're slow or they need a computer upgrade, but overall there were enough flags to mention they could work on this.

The location was excellent for walking to all the sights and restaurants that we wanted to visit. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very spacious and comfortable (a suite including kitchenette) - everything worked - especially the fridge.

Parking was $25 per day at the adjacent parking garage. It is not unusual given the shortage of parking in Charleston Hotel was pricey, but that is normal also in Charleston

Good sized room and plenty of choice at breakfast. Nice to have a fridge and microwave to make tea. Free bottled water in the lobby was very welcome.

The bathroom was quite small and there didn’t seem to be any extraction fan. Parking was expensive although the public car park was more reasonably priced. It would have been good to have safe in the room as there aren’t any safety deposit boxes on site.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked having the separate living room area. There was a kitchenette but we did not really use it.

The free breakfast was not great. There was plenty of food but it was pretty blah. The scrambled eggs were overly salty each day, to the point that we could not eat them. We ended up going out to breakfast on our last day. The hotel is not offering housekeeping “due to the pandemic.” This seems like an excuse to pay less for staff given that no other precautions appear to be in place. I think it’s time to get back to regular housekeeping. The location is on the very northern end of King. At night, the area feels pretty sketchy and the tourists get very rowdy, especially on weekends. I will probably avoid staying in this area on future trips.
