Loved the location, loved the simplicity and fresh take on an overnight facility. Thought it to be of a style that would attract younger travelers. Well appointed and had everything that was needed for an overnight stay - but not luxurious. The check in/out staff were exceptionally friendly, sort of casual, but very welcome - and generally, just seemed fun.

I disliked more than I liked but the value overall was great. The room didn't appear to have been swept or vacuumed as evidenced by filaments, thread, hair and clothes tags... and all the glass on the shower was not handprint/smudge free. Wasn't happy that we had to go to the lobby for coffee in the morning, and that the coffee had to be paid for as an extra. No cups in our room. Some of the staff around the food service area appeared unknowledgeable.

Good location, friendly staff, PET friendly I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again

No close by doggie park, inconvenient parking you have to pay to park daily!

Tastefully restored warehouse with retro plumbing fittings. Good size rooms with bed, small couch, table and chairs. Close to most attractions downtown such as Mississippi River cruises and Beale St Cafe and nightclubs.

No real public transport available around the city (no metro or trains at all. Buses were confusing and took you to undesirable neighbourhoods to change buses to get to where you want to go). I hired a private hire car to get to and from Gracelands and the airport. Quite expensive at US$40 with the expectation of a 18% tip one way.

Convenient location to Beale Street, Civil Rights Museum & it overlooks the Mississippi River Liked how an old machine shop factory was converted into the hotel. The hotel was well designed.

Sometimes the staff (bar server & valet ) was no where to be found

The location was perfect, close to a lot of the places we wanted to go and visit.

We would have loved it if we could have paid cash for everything instead of using our card. Also, there could have been a larger selection of snacks and different size drinks to choose from the snack section in the lobby. The menu print for breakfast and lunch needs to be a little larger for the older generation to see clearly. When we were ready to checkout we had to sit and wait for about 8 minutes before someone showed up at the desk.

Great Property, only been open for 5mths. There was $10 parking across the street. We got a yellow tag so we could come in and out as we pleased. The room was a nice mid sized room and was very clean. The shower had 2 shower heads, one which was removable. The breakfast was nice and flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Ample seating in the lobby area. The staff was great. we stay NYE and one of the staff members ever helped us search for spots open late night for food after we partied all night on Beale street which was right up the street. walking distance.

After being on the road you’d expect to be able to check right into your hotel. Our check in was at 3pm however we weren’t able to check in until after 6pm. We arrived shortly after 4pm. They offered us free food and drinks at the bar which really helped knock the edge off. Luckily we didn’t have reservations for dinner. The staff remained calm and there was no sign of frustration on anyone’s face. They did apologize and worked quickly to get the crowed lobby serviced. Nothing but respect for them. Upon checking out, I’m assuming a manager, also informed me that she would be taking $100 off our room as well. Even though this is in the negative section, their good outweighed the couple hours of checkin delay. Thank you.

We really loved the design and locality of Caption, as well as the cleanliness. Literally the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at thus far. And we got a view of the MS river/ TN-AR bridge; it was lovely. Plus valet service was affordable, nice and convenient!

Sadly, our room’s toilet pressure was not great. It barely wanted to flush and towards the end of the stay it just stopped flushing. Also some long silver object was propped against the wall of the shower- did not know what it was. Lastly, it was hard to find the perfect temp in the room- either mad cold or a bit warm. But I felt like those weren’t really things to call down and make a fuss about especially since it was 1 night. Overall it was great 8.9 out of 10

Modern design inside an old warehouse, great lobby, great staff, can’t beat the location if you want to check the music scene on Beale St. was upgraded to a room with a view on the Mississippi river, thank you!

The hotel is very modern, hip and sleek. The lounge/lobby/bar was very busy with people and conversation. The late night meals and drinks were reasonably priced and tasty. The art and furnishings were stylish, the place was very neat and clean. The staff were helpful and polite. The rooms were great, small but adequate. The bathrooms were really the shining star, AMAZING shower.

The parking situation. The garage across the street was more affordable than their valet service. A lot of construction in the area also made it difficult to navigate by car or walking.
