the property was clean and very modern in a good location

the staff were quite rude. and not enough verity of food in the restaurant.

Location was great. Room was nice. Breakfast was great.

2 empty coffee pods in the bin when we arrived in our room. While I was sitting watching tv a man entered my room with a key card in his hand. He apologised when he saw me and left. Told receptionist but she just apologised. Did not feel safe in this hotel!

Rooms small, windows dirty therefore not a nice view at all!!. No laundry bags available. Toilet paper too hard.

Valet service was terrible. They need a lot of training No one open doors. They just stand around until you say what you need but want a tip every time

The location was perfect for us. we were able to walk to the destinations that we were interested in. We did not have breakfast. If they provided coffee or some kind of easy breakfast option that would have been a nice touch. Small coffee maker in room is not enough for 2 people.

Was upset that were not able to go to the roof top to enjoy the view as we would have liked. Too much security. I understand when it is late and the bar is busy, but during the day when it is certainly not busy, guest should be able to use the facility with out the over rated security.

Perfect place to stay if visiting Beale St. It only took us a few minutes to walk to the bars and restaurants. The hotel was clean, beds were comfy, and we had a great view of the MS River. The ice machine has a water dispenser on it which we found very useful so we didn’t have to purchase bottled water. They also provide cotton rounds in addition to shampoo, conditioner, etc. I thought that was very handy.

Parking was kind of confusing. The hotel has valet on the backside and there is a parking garage across the road from the hotel. We didn’t use valet since we were only there for the night. Parking across the road was cheaper as long as you don’t plan to take your car out.

No warning about road construction in the area which severely limited accessibility to the building.

This hotel is very close to Beale Street.

There were a few NBA teams that stayed there while we were there. That was a fantastic surprise, but the staff made us clear out of the breakfast area and lobby where there were couches, chairs and tables where were eating. They said they wanted the path clear for the team. However, they never came through the area as a team; just here and there. Therefore, they had us wait outside for the rest of our group. They had their own security and there was no reason for them to shoo us out of the breakfast area and lobby.

From the time I entered the hotel the staff was very welcoming!! I am a military veteran so traveling is my secondary life style, and I have been to a plethora of hotels and I must say this hotel and the phenomenal staff EXCEEDED my expectations!! The were friendly, greeted my family and I with warm smiles and kind words. The valet manager D. Carter is top tier. He does his job with so much joy! The young that checked me in, LaDerrica had such a sweet spirit and so much patience. Even when I got up at 2-3am to grab something to quince my thirst, the night staff was so delightful and helpful. I mean I did not encounter one person that worked there with a bad attitude, poor customer service or just a negative vibe about them. So if you stay in Memphis you better stay at the Hyatt Centric because anytime I go it’s definitely where I will be.

The staff and management were terrific. Carolyn and Debra were especially helpful when I had to spend the night in a hospital (health issues while at the Civil Rights Museum) rather than in the hotel I had only checked into that afternoon. They were very understanding and allowed me to stay the following day after the hospital gave me the green light.

Pool off limits, as well as rooftop patio. Two exceptional features, but alas, inaccessible.
