All in all a good experience. The Moxy was a great place to stay, the service was fantastic. Memphis however was a little disappointing. With the exception of Graceland and the events surrounding Graceland, there really wasn't much to do. Beale street is unkept and seemed extremely dangerous to visitors. You would think that the city of Memphis would do a better job in maintaining and upkeeping such an historical place especially as it pertains to tourists.

Memphis was a little too dirty, slummy and came across as unsafe. There really wasn't much of a night life, with the exception of Beale street, but you get real tired of Beale street after a couple nights and the mass shooting last Saturday didn't help the situation.

Design hotel focused on music and rock. The lobby is a show in itself. We were greeted with fish to spend at the lobby bar, valid for having a free drink (a much appreciated thought). The hotel is practically on central street, a couple of blocks from the Mississippi. Large and clean room. I would definitely go back if I had to. Presence of (convenient) paid parking in front of the hotel, price in line with the rest of the USA.

Just for info, not depending on the hotel: in the central area there are many homeless people, but they don't bother anyone. We walked and toured all over downtown (to Baley Street) in the late evenings and always felt safe. Ditto the next day in the Lorraine Motel area. Memphis was probably worth a two day visit, great city.

The team was so sweet and helpful during our stay. Parking is valet only which is a little annoying because all the cars are parked in the lot right outside the hotel, but I do understand their need to know which cars are supposed to be there or not. The room was cozy and the beds were comfortable. the whole hotel was very clean and overall quiet. We were staying on a week day though so I can't speak for weekend crowds. Other guests left reviews of the noise from the valet and car alarms but we didn't have that experience so maybe it's gotten better. The location is nice, it's only a 10-20 minute walk to most of the places you would want to go as a tourist in Memphis. The location felt fairly safe but we could hear people arguing outside at night but that is pretty standard for any larger city. I would definitely stay here again if I was staying somewhere in Memphis and will be recommending it to anyone I know who is stopping through.

Valet isn't always around so it can sometimes take a minute to get your car even though you can see it. The valet from the neighboring Marriott hotels do jump in and help out when they can.

Our stay was awesome & the atmosphere was amazing, The people and staff were very nice and pleasant and helpful, Our room was very nice and clean and we loved our shower which was the favorite of the room, and the decor of everything was exceptional and designed as well!! We are already planning our next trip & looking forward to staying longer!!

Honestly there wasn't anything that I didn't like the only downside to our room is our phone didn't work I think the button was broke or something but other than that no negatives.

The staff were amazing. Welcome cocktail? Love. Free ear plugs? Love. Location was exceptional. Room was perfect and comfortable. Decor was lovely. Free pinball and games in lobby. Free fresh brewed coffee in lobby in the morning. The guests are wonderful as well! I cannot say enough about our stay. I loved it and my 9 year old boy loved it. And I’ll say it again: STAFF. Ali and Matt and everyone was amazing.

I honestly can’t think of any drawbacks. It was all good.

The location was close to everything. We had to drive a bit, but you would not want to walk anywhere in Memphis anyhow. They offered good drinks on location so that you could leave Beale Street early. It was a quiet resort even though they offer ear plugs on every floor. They offered extra toiletries on every floor as well. Unique decor in every room

Mandatory valet parking. A/C adjustment was either too hot or too cold.

we had drove all night and got there at 8am, the vallet was so nice and told us to pay the hourly, not overnight rate and he was really helpful. the girl at the counter was also very nice and understanding and graciously granted us a late check out. we didnt end up using it bc we had to be on the road and only needed to shower and take a quick nap, but it was a nice gesture.

the bathrooms were really small. very very cramped. hard to get ready (make up and hair esp) in the room. my husband and i both mentioned it would be impossible to telework fr the room as he and i both travel for work and normally would telework.

The lobby is eclectic. The front desk/bar hits right to the point. Everyone should have a drink as soon as they get there. lol Met a friend who stayed another Moxy and wanted to compare. She said both were "local", culturally decorated. The grassy elevator walls! Crazy!

I paid 35 bucks for 2 bagels and a juice smoothie in a bottle. The bagels were just microwave. At this price I expected a small kitchen, breakfast pastries in the back lobby and patio to the Trolley stop. but then again, you're missing money. Microwave menu at this price, when for a few bucks more you could stay at the Peabody?

We had a cracked window and a flat tire on our way to the Memphis so when I checked in and they gave us a token for a free cocktail/draft beer was needed. My son and I enjoyed playing with the Jenga blocks and having some down time after a stressful drive.

Downtown Memphis is just a bit confusing.

We loved the atmosphere and the range of multiple games they had in the lobby to keep us entertained whilst sipping on our welcome drink. The staff were incredibly helpful and very kind.

The lock on the door was loose so had to make sure our door was fully closed when coming and going. We were on the ground floor and our curtain wouldn’t fully close but only let a little light through in the end.
