Breakfast was great. Lots of selections to satisfy any taste. Location is very close to stores and dining,(fast food & sit down). Hotel is right off of the highway. I loved the goodie bag for my cat!

I'm really having to reach here as everything was top-notch. The pet goodie bag was geared towards a dog. I had a cat. I know the vast majority of pets that stay at the hotel would be dogs. Some catnip vs. the milk bone in the bag would have been the cherry on top.

We chose HI because were traveling with our dogs and they were allowed; there was plenty of green space around the hotel and it worked out perfect. Everyone was very nice, room was clean and well stocked, public spaces were clean and nice also.

The breakfast was the bare minimum, hardly much at all; eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. The weekend rate was twice the weekly rate which felt like hotel was gouging parents coming to visit.

The location was excellent for travel, shopping, events. The rooms were very comfortable and the handicap shower was a wonderful benefit. The breakfast had a great variety with healthy choices.

Have a shower chair available in each handicap bathroom. For those of us who may arrive late and need a chair in order to shower (use walker, not wheelchair) it would be convenient not to have to call for one. I woud also like to suggest that the carpeting be removed from all animal friendly rooms and replaced with the same flooring as in the bathrooms. I put pee pads down to be on the safe side, but my dog could still smell that other dogs had been there. I have stayed in other hotels who have removed the carpet and I think this is more sanitary,

Newly renovated, bright hallways, quiet elevator, loved the Bathroom EXCEPT for lighting (it was too bright), Nice room layout, Comfy bed, really nice workout room, enjoyed breakfast, wonderful & pleasant staff

Room smelled of carpet deodorizer, Bathroom lighting too bright (needs dimmer or 2d switch with lower intensity bulb or inferior lighting somewhere in the bathroom), Exercise room 1st rate EXCEPT needs traditional upright bike (i.e., without aerobic handlebars)

the minimal bathroom setup, ie the hooks on the wall the cubby type areas for storage. breakfast was fantastic with its variety of food and drink items. my daughter and I utilized the common area with the great furniture and games to play there! oh yeah, Clay texted and checked on us. I thought that was a nice thing.

the beds seemed old and not as comfy as the last HI I sleep in.

The room and bathroom were clean and I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was.

I couldn't find a designated pet area outside. The price was ridiculous because it was family weekend at Tech. I wasn't there for that, so that was unfortunate. The following weekend's rate was $300 less, so charging that much was a little ridiculous.

The breakfast was well supplied, hot and tasty. The attendant was friendly, present and inquiring about how our breakfasts were. Our room was clean and well supplied. At check in the staff was also friendly. Our room was away from the elevator and ice machine Bonus!

Nothing that we can think of was a very pleasant hotel.

I stayed here several years ago, and it was looking tired and worn. However, since then they've done a remodel, and the hotel looks great! The neutral tones look good,, and the hotel looks almost new! It is super quiet, the beds are really comfortable, and for the early risers, coffee was ready to go at 5:00 am.

Nothing...everything was excellent.

I downloaded the Hilton app, which allowed me to choose my room, check in, use my phone's digital room key & check out the next day. The breakfast was standard but good. Any staff I had interactions with were pleasant, helpful and cheerful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overall, a good value and I would stay there again.

The lighting in the room could have been brighter. I spend a good deal of time reading and writing and so I like a well-lit room. I had to turn on every light in the room and even then, it was on the dim side. But then, not every traveler needs or wants a bright well-lit hotel room, so it's probably fine for most people.

The breakfast was great, also I like the location is near to many stores and restaurants.also 9 minutes from Virginia Tech.

I didn’t like that the AC smells like molding or the room.But the rest was great, the customer service is excellent Mrs. Chloe was really friendly and helpful.everyone was friendly.
