Free breakfast, dinner, popcorn, AND drinks! And the beds were so comfortable. The staff was so incredibly friendly! We didn’t want to leave!

The noise coming from adjoining doors can be very loud with the right neighbors. Ours were hollering and we could hear every word as if they were in our room directly. But they gave us a new room without an adjoining room and it was much more quiet!

Great location. It is nearby many outlets shops and stores. There was an issue with my room assignment, but the ladies at the front desk worked hard to get it fixed for me and even got the room ready for an early check in. Big thanks to the friendliness and efforts of Crystal & Brenda at Front desk and Tiesha with housekeeping. This is my 2nd time staying at this location and the breakfast was better this time around. The pancakes tasted better too. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Always a plus having the daily evening social with complimentary food and cocktails. Great spot to stay for Thanksgiving trip.

Only things I didn't like were that the hot tub near the pool wasn't working properly during the stay, and fitness center seemed to be out of commission first night. I recommend adding new free weights and cables machine for fly exercises and maybe even a pull up bar. I also wanted to point out that the hotel should add apple juice & or orange juice to the drink options for breakfast. Mainly would benefit the kids and those adults that would rather another option besides coffee, tea and soda. Other than those few things, this was a pleasant stay.

We loved the 3 free drinks on weekend eves and the free buffet for happy hour and breakfast. Food was delicious with great selection. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Price was good, checkout was easy.

Please get new hairdryiers in rooms. My daughter had her pre-wedding hair and make up trial on Sunday morning and while using the hotels hair dryer, it sucked a huge chunk of her hair into it. We had to have Mainenance come with a screwdriver to take the dryer apart, then had to spend time pulling hair out strand by strand. Then had to have scissors brought up to cut the rest out. Hairdresser said the fact that that happened meant the dryers were old. I do commend the maid working the 6th floor on Sunday morning (8th) - Sandra - for calling management about this incident and for checking on my daughter. Also to the maintenance man for his help! Other than that I have no complaints!

We loved the free amenities — free breakfast + free dinner AND 3 free drinks per adult, every single day. We also found the room to be super comfortable, and the hotel itself was super easy to navigate and find our way around. We also always had a very short wait time at the elevators. We would definitely return to the Drury Plaza Hotel in Richmond.

The only thing I did not like during my stay here was the hair I found in the shower and the front of our toilet had a dirty spot on the outside of it. Other than that, the room was exceptionally clean, especially in comparison to many other places we have stayed in recent years!

The popcorn immediately got my kids' attention from check-in that this place was cool! plus, breakfast, dinner, and free drinks!?! PLUS, pet friendly, spacious clean rooms, comfy beds, a pool with indoor/outdoor option and not too deep to make mom nervous, plenty of parking, fast wifi, and non-glitchy room keys. Kids (8 and 9)are already asking to go back!

Booked for 4 people and got three big towels. Not a huge deal and was able to catch the room service staff before the first shower. Toilet did not flush upon arrival but front desk was very quick to get maintenance to our room.

EVERYTHING! Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean Staff is so welcoming & friendly Great decor, room and bedding is wonderful. Amenities above anything I’ve had any where else. Free breakfast buffet, and dinner buffet including a drink card for free cocktails. The food was delicious and large variety. There is also a little shop with food items for sale. There is also a Bar & Kitchen restaurant. Didn’t go to the pool or gym, but they looked wonderful and clean. I have been to a lot of hotels and traveled a lot, this hotel is really impressive, felt like I was on a cruise! In my future travels I will always seek out a Durary Plaza !

Staff was absolutely incredible. We had a small issue that was immediately resolved, I was so impressed! Carly was so genuine and sweet, she really made us feel at home and went above and beyond. She was wonderful to us!! ❤️ Also the location is great - we felt safe and could easily get to tons of stuff. We had a great stay, it was such a relief to come rest in a nice clean comfy room after a long day on the lacrosse fields. The Drury stands out clearly amongst the other hotels in the best possible way.

Safe location, comfortable room, and good food. The free hot breakfast, complementary drinks and food in the evening was an unexpected surprise. The staff ad guests were all very friendly.

I thought the pet fee was high - for that price they should walk the dog too. The maid service was uneven. They do not change the bed linens daily which is OK, but they should make the bed and empty the trash. Some days they missed that so was not sure if that was my fault or not.

My first stay at the Drury Plaza was, more or less, the result of throwing a dart at a map....Our stay was so pleasant, that we booked reservations for our subsequent stay in Richmond less than 4 months later. After our second stay, we have decided that the Drury will be our de-facto hotel any time we travel to Richmond. The hotel is relatively new, extraordinarily clean, and the staff is superb. Excellent value for the money!!!

We had a minor plumbing issue on the first stay, but was easily resolved on our own, although the housekeeping staff offered to take care of it, we prefer to take care of minor issues ourselves.

Clean rooms excellent lobby food and breakfast.

My only complaint is with my check-in. I checked in at 6 pm (well after earliest check-in) and I was told a room of the category of my reservation wasn't ready and that one should be ready in maybe 20 minutes. I waited in the lobby while probably 5 other families checked in without issue and finally I went back up to the counter and another employee helped me this time. My room (single king) was still not ready but they were able to get me into a double queen quickly. So in the end it worked out but I was annoyed initially.
