Excellent hotel and fantastic hospitality by the staff from reception and during Breakfast time too at the restaurant. Lisa was super nice and helpful always. Lisa helped, shared with DC recommendations and did for NYC too, that was so kind and lovely of Lisa and appreciate the efforts taken. Other Staff members were very courteous and warm too.Rooms are spacious. We had 3 of us as family staying in the room. Overall, had a good comfortable stay and loved the stay. Rooms were clean. Hospitality staff ensured daily cleaning very well done all through our 5 days that we stayed in the hotel. Appreciate their daily efforts to keep the rooms kept so clean. We are Vegetarians so mostly had food outside and Indian food so not much to comment on lunch, dinner as took outside.

Nothing major at all, one point to know as information is the washroom has door for taking bath, toilet area. The wash basin is kept seperate outside door. So as family need to be mindful of this.

My stay at the Dupont Circle Hotel was truly exceptional, largely due to the outstanding service provided by Farah. Throughout my visit, I experienced a high level of professionalism and attentiveness from every member of the hotel staff, from the doorman to the front desk and housekeeping team. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made my stay a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and welcoming stay in the heart of the city. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a delightful atmosphere!

Check was easy and they brought my bags up within minutes. The dinner I ordered came hot but I wish I knew that onions were apart of the meal (I don’t like them). The rooms were very clean and I loved the welcome gift of fruit, macarons, and a personalized welcome note. Really started my weekend off right. I ended up with a room with a view of the park but some people decided to have a party that lasted well into the night. Armit was great tho! He was able to find me another suite away from the noise. Which was better than the first, which I loved also. The both rooms bathroom/shower is amazing and beautifully done. My first suite had heated floors in the bathroom. The second had a heated towel rack…both were a pleasant surprise.

One major flaw is their TV service provider. It’s not reliable and often blanks out randomly. Moreover, if it rains forget watching TV. which is something most people would want to do during that time. But regardless, I would gladly go back.

The bed was extremely confortable.

The bathroom is necessary to have a proper door to isolate from the bedroom, no privacy at all in certain moments. In the shower the glass door is useless or even problematic reducing the available space and make the water flow outside the shower. Better to be removed. The TV in the room was not working properly (only 2 channels available), even after asking to the receptionist to fix it no action was taken or at least communicated a trial was done. In fact no difference after the supposed intervention was found and the TV was still able to receive the same 2 channel. For a supposed 5 star hotel certain details make the difference.

Deluxe King Suite...you feel like you are in Raffles from the 1920s...very comfortable bed, excellent shower...and the staff, the staff makes the stay even better. The young man with the smart suit and long braids at the front desk was elegant and polite and just plain fun...Amari, who checked me out, glamorous and efficient...the breakfast attendant at the fast breakfast counter, efficient. When I was in my residency here in DC in the early 80s, this was a hotel we all wanted to stay in. I finally have...it is a renovated hotel and no expense was spared. Just beautiful and elegant and comfortable.

Street noise, like sirens, cannot be helped...you are in the city....but it was very quiet late at night so I slept well.

I originally found this hotel when looking for a recommendation for a friend of my wife who was visiting the area. We ended up staying here ourselves and were quite happy with our choice. Location is obviously very convenient, staff were very polite and helpful, and the quality is quite high. Our room also had the best blackout curtains I've ever experienced in a hotel room, which is very appreciated for a finicky sleeper.

This is a very minor gripe, but I wasn't a huge fan of the shower. It was a bit noisier than expected when starting it up. It didn't impact anything, was just a little confusing at first.

The room size is adequate, and the beds provide a comfortable sleeping experience. The hotel's location is highly convenient as it is located just a few steps away from the underground station. Additionally, there are several good restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. The door staff is affable, and the valet parking service is also convenient, albeit at a higher cost which is expected in Washington DC.

It would be advantageous to have an extra curtain since the wooden blinds are insufficient in completely obstructing the sunlight during morning hours.

Room was nice an clean and spacious. The bed was comfy. Hotel location is great, with bars, restaurants fairly close. Quiet neighborhood. It's not family oriented, but more business oriented. Like they have a minibar in the room, but not a mini-fridge. You need to ask for a mini-fridge and and they will get one to your room. It's not a complain it's just an observation. They do strive to accommodate families as well.

All good. Even valet parking cost is acceptable!

I loved the location, the staff were wonderful and welcoming, the rooms were lovely and very relaxing. I also enjoyed that it was Irish owned (thanks to my Irish son-in-law author).

I missed not having a bathtub and only having a shower. The rooms for me would be perfect with a bathtub to soak in after a long hard day. Also, policy with dogs being allowed to stay ruined a night´s sleep and a morning of relaxation. The dog barked incessantly all night long and started again in the morning. I understand that the staff could not get a hold of the owner who had abandoned the dog, I would have gladly taken care of it. The staff did offer me a new room and that was much appreciated. It was my bad that I did not take it right away.

We enjoyed everything about the DuPont Hotel. our room was a deluxe king and totally adequate for our needs. the bathroom though small was again okay and designed well. The room was light and spotless. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, very close to the Metro and in a neighborhood with great restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was also excellent and the patio wonderful on lovely spring nights. We would definitely stay here again when visiting DC
