Surprisingly, this hotel checked all the boxes for things we appreciate in a hotel. As for breakfast, we didn't expect much due to it being a continental breakfast but it was tasty, fresh and was being restocked the entire time we were in the dining area (waffles, DELICIOUS packaged cinnamon coffee cake, bagels). Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, very quiet, no obvious smells, the beds had quilted mattress covers and we slept very well, the bathroom was updated more than some other hotels we've stayed in and the thermostat kept the room at just the right temperature. Water pressure and water temp was great and I really liked that the water was softer than what we have at home. The hotel rooms are enclosed, there were luggage carts right inside the lobby door, and the carpets appeared to be clean and updated. I was pleasantly surprised that the stay was quite good, even compared to our other stays in hotels that cost $200 plus a night. Just because you pay more doesn't always mean you'll get more so we were extra leery of this being a lower end brand. But from now on, this Super 8 will be our halfway stop when traveling to WV. The hotel owner, manager, staff and hospitality/cleaning crew are to be commended for providing an unexpected value and excellent service. One tip when booking: we went online while we were driving around looking for a place to stay and we got an awesome rate at this Super 8 with our AAA discount that brought it down $50 from what we would've paid had we stepped inside the lobby to get the room. I don't know exactly how that works but it's something we do all the time now unless we've made reservations ahead of time to match travel plans. One more thing - we found a hardback spiral notebook in the nightstand with colorful pictures and information about local sights and restaurants. Very professionally done.

The only negative thing I can recall is that the tub plug didn't work. I always carry a silicone plug with me just in case there's not a tub plug (this is a common issue no matter what hotel we stay in), so this issue didn't inconvenience me. But honestly, I've had the exact same problem with expensive resort hotels in large cities. It seems like hotels don't realize that some people still like tub baths....

The bed was comfy, the room clean, and the location was great. The staff was helpful and courteous.

The breakfast was more of a snack, but for the cost of the room it served its purpose.

The .ain't staff at desk was cool.. The king size bed was comfortable and the pillows for the most part don't get a smoking room they stink bad I switched from a king smoking to a king non smoking the bathrooms are nice but other than that the place seem ran down.

I didn't like that the house keeping told me they was going to clean my room and didn't after promising me they would. My refrigerator didn't work waited 3 days to get one (working and stayed a week). Also they have small tvs and ran down looking furniture. But I was alone so really didn't care because i was there for work.

Room was nice, had microwave, bed comfortable, shower nice - actually had good pressure an looked newly renovated. Just difficult to get in the end outside door where our room was.

Not much of a selection of breakfast items. A bit difficult to turn into.

Got discount for buying tickets to theatre WV. We were amazed at the amenities & appliances provided in the room, especially for the price! Bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to others!

Some mildew was starting on the shower curtain & there was some dust/debris behind the night stand. The 'key' card wouldn't work on the back door till we opened it from the inside & manually jiggled the mechanism.

Breakfast. Adequate, but could be better. Maybe sausage biscuits? I gotta admit I was disappointed. Plus I think we got sick from it. But I didn't stay here for the breakfast.

It was clean. The beds were great. I slept well. My dog liked it too.

The location was not great but we were there to sleep.

Price was right! Fast check-in - courteous desk clerk. Nicest room we have stayed at on our weekend travels. Clean. Beds were clean and comfy. Nice size room to walk around. Clean carpet. AC/heating unit actually works well!

You did good at this motel, no real complaints! Except for television - fuzzy stations, too many shopping channels.

Booking.com told me my military discount would be taken care of at checking. Motel would not , because I booked thru a third Party. Not what I was told.
