The location is great, the hotel staff are friendly, and the staff at the restaurant downstairs were exceptional.

No on-site parking available, only public open air pay parking across the road with no guarantee that there will be space available. Also, the csrpark across the road is split between all day parking a 4 hour time limited parking with only little signs on lamp posts to delineate between the two. It's quote easy to accidentally park in the 4 hour part when you should bebin the all day part.

All amenities were as advertised. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with lovely toiletries and fluffy towels. It was great to have a kitchenette - convenient (First time I've ever put an ice pack in a bar freezer and had it actually freeze !) I was impressed that there was a washer/dryer included in the facilities...very helpful. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

No parking...I might have missed that bit of info when I booked though. (There is parking across the road and we lucked out in travelling on a weekend, as there is no fee on weekends or public holidays.) I also didn't check the configuration of the beds so we ended up with 2 single beds plus bunk beds. It was only one night so no real dramas.

Room was modern and clean. Included washing machine and dryer. Location was handy to access family attractions on our stay. Food at the restaurant was exceptional and well priced.

Bunk beds-single beds in a family room for younger children would be preferable. Our eldest was not really old enough for the top bunk and our youngest didn't like being under the top bunk, so they both ended up in our bed. No clothes airer to dry washing-seems odd to not include somewhere to hang clothes to dry when a washing machine is provided.

Excellent location, great price for 5 people, lots of space, clean, various and useful facilities e.g. microwave, dishwasher, fridge, cooktop etc, we only stayed 1 night so the usual paid parking was free, 24/7 reception, we had two rooms (family and a king studio) next to each other and there was another door blocking off both these rooms for better privacy

Bunk beds a bit small (someone 6ft would not fit), we called reception a couple of times no answer, there is a permanent fan for ventilation and i could feel a light cold wind all night which I’m sensitive too

I would like to share my experience of my stay at Abode Woden as an guest service agent at five star hotel in Sydney. Firstly, the staff upon checking at midnight( the Lady) was very helpful and polite. Secondly, the room was totally clean and bed was comfortable, also the A/C was worked properly. The last thing that made my day in the early morning was the breakfast and especially the Chi latte. Upon check out I was told that the tax invoice will be send to my email address, while leaving hotel, I received it. I believe some times it takes time because the registration card hasn’t been updated yet or upon checking the GSA might be forgotten to ask about contact details. I wish all the best for hotel and all the staff.

There were no slipper, dental and shaving kits in the. Bathroom. I believe they should be in the bathroom as normal amenities.

24 hours reception Close to canberra hospital

Difficult to work washing machine/dryer. Put something in the dryer for quick cycle took so much longer, item came out more wet than before I put it in. Didnt like how you couldnt just press tv remote and tv comes on, had to down load an app which by the time I checked in late and had a very stressful day I couldn’t be bothered going through that just to watch free to air tv. Desperately needed a toothbrush and toothpaste, was told they’d run out of toothpaste. I think for that standard of hotel, stock levels should of not run out on toiletries. I was willing to buy them didn’t expect them for free, but was told Woolworths / coles was a 5/6 minute walk from the hotel. I’m not from Canberra so do not know my way and def wasn’t walking at 930 pm being a single female.

The room had everything we needed and we loved the addition of being able to connect our phone to the tv to watch Netflix. We also left some items of clothing in the room accidentally and the staff went above and beyond to send the items back to us.

The bed was a little uncomfortable as we could feel the Velcro connection between the two single beds to make them a king bed. We had to sleep further away from each other as you couldn’t get too close to the middle.

Huge rooms, comfortable stay, little pantry shop downstairs which was ideal as I needed a 10pm dinner. Suite was well equipped with everything I needed. Staff were lovely and friendly.

No parking on site, it's just across the road in a weekday-timed car park. Just a bit inconvenient having to get up to get a parking ticket for the 8.30 start of paid parking (there's an App, but you can only use it on the day rather than forward planning).

The Hotel is quite nice, had everything I needed, they're is a small kitchnet with microwave. There is a nice club across the road. There is a restaurant/cafe downstairs. People at the desk were friendly and helpful

Parking is awkward, it's free overnight but if staying past 830am have to go to across the road to get a ticket or download the app.
