Booked a one bedroom apartment for 3 nights. We got there after driving from Melbourne to be told our apartment had been give to someone else by the manager. Got told we could only have a guest room a third of the size. The Day Desk manager was hopeless and uncooperative (being polite)

I would stay here again because from my experience over the last two decades the Adina brand has always been VERY reliable… it’s just a matter of time before they address staff attitude and issues here.

The baby's cot was set up and ready for use when we arrived. There was an ample supply of towels and a satisfactory supply of cleaning agents and toiletries. All appliances were in good working order and the room was clean. We used everything - dishwasher, clothes washing and drying, iron etc. and they all functioned well and reasonably quietly. The bed was comfortable and the flow of the rooms made sense. The shower was particularly excellent and felt very luxurious.

The rooms were quite small and the air was stuffy. The balcony doors don't have fly screens so couldn't be left open which prevented us from circulating air in the rooms. The rooms were only cleaned once during our stay which, when combined with the sweaty stuffy air made our bed feel a bit rank by the end of day 2. The supplied dishwashing tablets didn't correctly fit into the dishwasher and had to be broken into small pieces to fit. The TV was on a different network to the guest WIFI so couldn't be synced with our devices. There were also no streaming options and the ondemand movie program was absurdly expensive. The lighting in the bathroom was also too weak for applying makeup.

There 1 bed apartment was very spacious and accommodating for my family. The balcony allowed for fresh air to flow through apartment. Could easily walk to Northbourne to catch light rail to city. Easy 10-minute walk to Dickson shop. Accesses to Pavillon on Northbourne for meals was great.

Bathroom attached to bedroom was a bit smelly at times, shutting the door and running the fan solved the problem most days.

I have stayed often at Adina in Dickson in the last 10 years. Always a pleasure. A high quality offering with great facilities for the business traveller. I like the fact that I can book an apartment with kitchen and laundry and even buy a movie if I have some free time. Excellent wifi and a designated desk for working. So close to the Dickson dining precinct which also has pharmacy and supermarkets. All round great choice for business travel for me.

I find it is always a bit of a lottery at Adina on whether you will have mugs in your kitchen or just tiny little cups and saucers which certainly do not hold enough tea to satisfy me. In 2025, it would be good to have some reasonably sized mugs in all kitchens.

Central location minutes from city centre, shopping centres and major attractions. On-site secure parking at $15 per night. Apartment facilities are excellent: kitchenette includes microwave, hot plate, dishwasher, cooking and eating utensils, full size fridge, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Apartment has living room dining setting, balcony and large TV. Bedroom has wardrobe, ensuite and separate balcony. Bed was very comfy. Card access to lift and room. Lift gives direct access to lower ground carparks, reception and rooms on levels 2-7. Small coffee shop serves basic coffee, alcohol, soft drinks and snacks.

Large room and good location.

Check-in time is misleading, although it says 11pm, the lady at the front desk threatened to cancel my booking multiple times if I didn't arrive by 9pm as she wanted to shut off the eftpos machine early. Additionally she tried to get my credit card information over the phone because she could not wait 15 minutes for me to arrive, this was unsettling and I thought it was a scammer calling me. This caused unnecessary stress.

As a regular customer I like the location and generous size of the apartments. On this occasion the staff were very helpful trying to resolve an issue with the apartment. Appreciate the 11am checkout time. Overall, I will probably return to the Adina Apartments for my next Canberra stay.

On arrival when entering the apartment bathroom the drains were smelly. The smell spread to the bedroom although less intense. I was offered another apartment which was marginally better but not worth repacking and moving. I placed a towel over the offending drain which reduced the odour. Later in the evening after using the bathroom facilities the odour reduced in intensity. Another concern occurred when the air conditioner ‘downstairs’ or for the building was turned on. The floor and lounge chairs were vibrating in our apartment. Having complained about the drain odour I hoped that the source of the problem would abate. In fact after an hour or two the vibrating stopped and didn’t return for the rest of our stay.

Nice place to stay. Very good and spacious parking. Unit was fairly large with a good sized kitchen. Location was out of the busy area so more convenient.

Unit was a little dated but still good. Layout didn’t fully utilise the area of the unit. Bedroom a little small and tight for the size of the unit. Didn’t like the motel tv system as it completely prevents using the smart tv to its potential. I also couldn’t turn on captions on the tv due to this system. Not good for hearing impaired

The room was great. Self catering made meals easy. Bed was very comfortable. Nice to have a balcony where we could open up the doors for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows and a spare blanket supplied. Dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, toaster, kettle. . . . We had everything we needed for a stay of 6 days.

Housekeeping entered our room prior to the 11 AM check out(9:50 AM) to start cleaning!! Didn't wait for the doorbell to be answered. Not great considering I was just finishing my shower and hubby was wandering around getting dressed for the day. No excuse for this.

We went to the EPIC showground, so having the light rail outside the hotel is excellent. We chose this venue because it also had kitchen and balconies, and a really comfortable living space, lots of light and air. Tidy, comfortable and pleasant ambience with lovely quiet street walks on extensive flat pathways near green spaces and local shops, away from noise. The reception staff were excellent. polite and very professional. It was great to have a person on site.

The bedroom cupboard was a bit jammed. There wasnt a fly screen on door, but luckily we didnt have probs with mozzies.
