Once we upgraded the cabin was excellent and the facilities provided were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back - just in the better cabins!!
We initially booked the standard (Grevillea) cabin - but had to upgrade as it was very basic and exceedingly grubby. The staff were extremely helpful and let us upgrade.

great facilities at the park, especially when travelling with kids.
Our wasn't very clean. Bedspread in the main bedroom had a very questionable stain on it.

I booked a Park Villa property considering the large property would be better for 5 people. The location of the villa is quite close to the complex amenities and set apart close to the bush, so in the evening you can see bunnies and other wildlife from the Balcony if it faces that way.
As part of the inclusions the description mentions the private bathrooms, so I assumed it had one on suite and one for the rest of the property, however there was only one available in the property. The car parking is on the road next to the property, there is no shade or protection to it.

Handy that there was a restaurant there; pizzas were nice though breakfast was very expensive, no smaller cheaper options. Kids loved the pool at night. Location is good, close to city but very quiet. Staff were friendly enough, only actually saw them briefly checking in and out. Cabin wasn’t perfectly clean, ball of hair and dust next to the couch, old beer holder under bed, but otherwise good.
Double bed is actually two single beds pushed together and the line down the middle is uncomfortable. The toilet leaks water when flushed so the floor of the bathroom always has a puddle. There was no frying pan or pancake flipper which made cooking pancakes for breakfast in the morning very difficult!

Great location and very central to all the touristy things we came to do. Lovely pool & splash pool for the family & kids & a beautiful room.
I liked the selection of breakfast foods available, however my family & I didn’t like the food. The eggs were rubbery, the bacon was not nice tasting. The juice was not nice. The dining space was dirty & each time we came to eat the high chairs were always grubby & I had to clean it before using it. Pulled out the kids beds in the bedroom to make the bed each day & when I pulled the bed out from the wall it was all dusty with little bits of other peoples rubbish (ie lollie rappers) on the floor under the bed/bedside tables.

The park cabins are amazing, so clean, spacious and lovely view of the bush also easy walking to the facilities. The kids loved the playground, courts and space to run around. So close to the zoo, arboretum, city
We had booked as a large group (four cabins all together) but on check in one cabin was on the other side of the park from the other 3. Staff were able to move us after a night apart. However more miscommunication about needing to check out before moving added stress to our holiday. Once we moved everyone in our family was together and we had a fantastic time together enjoying the park facilities.

We loved the kids activities, the lovely relaxed vibe by the pool and the friendly staff. The little things were thought of, like fidget boards and colouring in at the dining hall, a small library shelf, herb garden by the BBQ. Our cabin was airy, clean and comfortable and all common areas were well-maintained.
Coffee quality could be more consistent as some baristas were more experienced than others, and soy milk tasted a little funny. Pizza bases could be better as well. There was someone playing basketball past midnight one night which caused noise issues but another guest sorted it out.

Cabins were so clean and spacious, felt more like a two bedroom apartment surrounded by nature. There was plenty to keep the whole family entertained such as the swimming pool area, playgrounds, foosball table, and multiple BBQ areas. Reception were friendly upon arrival, easy check in and check out. The grounds and gardens were immaculate.
Parking and the skinny, windy roads leading up to your cabin was kind of like a rabbit warren. We had an issue with our key cards not opening our door. It was after midnight and my daughter and I just came back from a concert, and we were very thankful the handyman was still there to help us get into our cabin.

The reception staff are amazing! So friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a cabin. It was clean and cosy. Away from all the hustle and bustle. A great place for families to stay! My kids loved the volleyball court, foosball table, table tennis, pool and splash park! A note I really wanted to make: in the restaurant, there's a box full of wooden busy boards. This. This is what we need! There's also a colouring in station filled with pencils and different colouring pages. The best. Thank you!
The beds weren't the comfiest in our cabin - but you can't have it all! Unfortunately, one of the bar staff was quite rude. He was on when we went to dinner and at breakfast. He had a "no can do" attitude and was continuously rolling his eyes when spoken to. I don't think he really wants to work there 😂

Great location, 10 mins to most places in Canberra. Great value for money, great food in the restaurant. Lovely pool, spa.(i didn't want to get out). Cabins are great, comfy beds, great to be able to cook in the oven/microwave to save money on dining out every night..our 2nd stay and will definitely stay again if we go to Canberra in the future.
Reception staff perhaps need some training in first aid. My teenage son, fell off his scooter at high speed and injured his knee quite badly and when I asked reception for some first aid supplies I was offered a band aid and had to manage his knee wound by myself. The staff did not leave their desks or ask if I needed assistance..I took him to a drop in clinic next morning for bandaging. Otherwise very friendly staff.
