Fantastic location can walk everywhere (the rail museum was way more interesting than I expected as someone who isn't into trains), the high ceilings in the bedroom were fabulous and food downstairs was great. Although it was pretty noisy downstairs being Saturday night we couldn't hear it at all from our room so soundproofing is good. We got a room with its own bathroom but I was surprised how nice the shared bathrooms were and we saw inside a couple of those bedrooms without ensuite in morning and they're also great and huge so don't be put off.

Everything was great about the hotel. Wouldn't get the cocktails downstairs again though they're pre-made and quite watery

2nd time visit, this time is end of April, we are on the room include the bath & toilet. downstairs is bar for drink and food, very quite during the night and weekend (we were there on Saturday) its very clean, room is very bright, high ceiling, vintage feel but recently renovated, perfect for stay overnight location wise, next to the train station, free street Tesla charger 100 metres away, not super charge, 16kw something, but barely occupied, which is a bonus for us, when travel from Sydney, arrived at 4pm with 50% battery, then 3 hours later, back to 100%, Super charger is just 2mins drive away. aircon is powerful to keep room cool or hot.

the mini fridge had a bit sound when sleep mattress maybe too soft for some person also the provided double pillow is hard therefore bring your own

I am a big fan of The Victoria Bathurst. Beautiful little town and this hotel is no exception! Stayed during the 12 hour race. Bathroom was always spotless, even though it is shared, lovely food at the restaurant, comfortable bed, beautiful backyard setting with smoking area and extra bar for busy periods. Affordable food and drink (though there is a sunday upcharge), only $8 for a local IPA as of review time. I will definitely be back.

My airconditioner was malfunctioning and leaking and so I couldn't use it. Only was in the room at night so it was fine, just slept under a sheet.

Beautiful old hotel in Bathurst that's been renovated to the standard of its vintage charm. Very pleasant beer garden out back where we had our meal.

The room had a strange smell about it on entering so we needed to open up all the windows - ? covering up another smell with the diffuser in the bathroom which was cheap and overwhelming or maybe that was the problem (we turned it off). Limited menu with some meals/drinks quite pricey for a pub. Needs new good quality pillows - currently lumpy and uncomfortable. No breakfast option - (only need simple bread & toaster with condiments given tea & coffee already offered). We were given details of a nearby cafe for breakfast (but that ends up to be another cost ++) No off street parking & on highway (noisy at times).

Booked for my son and his father. They stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it here. Booked here as it was close to the field where my sons rugby union game was being held. Very good price.. ended up upgrading to a room with a private bathroom, so worth it! would book here again if we end up in the area again. Just want to say thank you to the male staff member who waited for them to arrive and helped them out with the key box. Thank you, staff and team. Made my son and his fathers stay so much better. 100% recommend this place 👌

Great location close to the train station and town centre. Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, loved the full ensuite, was a nice change from hostel shared bathrooms! Loved the personality of the place and would definitely stay again

The room could have done with some artwork as it was a bit meh inside compared to the halls. Also it was very cold in the room on arrival, would be nice to have had the heat pump running on low to take the edge off. A mirror and lamp in the room would have been helpful too 🙂

Return visitors to The Victoria. Once again, did not disappoint. Everyone from reception to housekeeping were fantastic. Beautiful old hotel in a central location close to shops but still relatively quiet. Great value for money, small cafe behind the hotel does great coffee. Comfy beds and the shared bathrooms were very clean.

No complaints about our stay. The hotel wouldn't be suitable for people unable to traverse a flight of stairs, however, as there is no lift.

Friendly staff and freshly renovated rooms. Particularly loved the high ceilings and charm of the old world hotel. We were visiting family and didn’t dine in but good food and great atmosphere at the restaurant. No trouble with noise from the dining areas. My husband left his phone charger behind and the staff kindly organised for it to be forwarded onto him.

Good exercise going up the 2 flights of stairs to get to the top floor but not for everyone,

Super friendly staff, nice vibe, quiet at night time. Shared bathroom to be expected in old building, but everything was clean and well organised. Maybe it was because it was off peak, but I'll check for bookings here first next time I'm in bathurst.

Look, this isnt a fault of the business, just a product of town planning from many decades ago - if you bring your car, its on the street in the weather etc. that said, the street parking is right in front of the door, so for street parking, its great. Just placing this note here for those who may be protective of their ride. Again, not a fault of the business themselves, and I didnt mind :)

Staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, bistro and bar with great food downstairs and no noise coming from there into the room. Shared bathrooms were very clean and we loved the capsule coffee machine in the hallway. Smart TV with streaming services was also a big plus

Some block-out blinds for the light and maybe double glazed windows for the street noise would be good, as well as something under the door to stop the corridor light coming in. Otherwise a nice place to stay
