This was a last minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised at how great the place was. Our 3 bedroom cabin (more like a house!) had 2 bathrooms and was huge. It was clean and even though it was not new there were lots of little decorative touches to make it more inviting. It was nice and quiet at night.

Everything, staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful, as my GPS was sending me the wrong way, staff member stayed on the phone until I arrived, wow. Room was comfortable and so clean. Will come again. Facilities allowed me to cook meals in a skillet fry pan, which saved me getting takeaways. Ensuite is very well laid out with a huge shower. Best place for your money.

Just getting used to the flight path.

Lovely clean, modern studio cabin with everything we needed for a weekend away. Loved the pool area.

Bed was way too soft and didn't have enough support for your body to lay flat (mattress bowed in the middle)...actually made it a little difficult to sleep comfortably.... a slightly firmer mattress would do the trick!

I stayed in one of the river front cabins (24A). It was fantastically clean and well appointed. I travel a lot and this is one of the best I have come across. Hosts were super helpful.

The elephant in the room (well outside) is the park is directly under the flight path to the Gold Coast Airport. When the planes fly over (especially taking off) it can be very noisy. However, the airport is not super busy and it really is only 10 seconds of noise. If you are out most of the day you will only get a few planes come over. I never heard any late at night. In the end it was not that bad and did not detract from all the other positives of which there are many.

The cabins were modern & clean, great decor, had everything you would need, really impressed! Love that the car space was right next to the cabin, was so convenient.

The only negative was the mattress, it was not firm and dipped in the middle making it uncomfortable.

The reception staff member was very welcoming and courteous. The accommodation was well fitted out, maintained and clean. The facilities were great. This is an excellent location to base yourself for exploring the area in all directions. Close to coffee shops and shopping centres.

The aircraft flight path is over this area. This is not an issue unique to this one park as it will affect all parks in the area.

The cabin was extremely clean and had everything in it that we could want. Fridge, microwave, toaster and elec jug. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The whole caravan park is very well presented and is in a great location.

Down the street where our cabin 3A was there was a lot of IBIS and Pidgens that bring vermon. Our grand children came ti visit and there was no play equipment in the play ground

This was our second time staying at Colonial Tweed, it has now become a staple on our quarterly business trip to the region. Paula and her team were fantastic from the moment we arrived! They helped with everything we needed, even giving us an extra gate code when we got stuck on opposite shifts. Unfortunately the morning we were supposed to check out, we were victim to the Feb 2022 floods and could not leave, Paula was kind enough to allow us to stay 2 extra nights at the same discounted rate we had paid already which was amazing! We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and it was fantastic! Kitchen, comfy couch and great TV! But without a doubt the thing we'll be coming back for is the best shower I've had in my life.... Heaven!

Loved the location as we were at the front of the park overlooking the water. The check in and check out process was so easy. We loved the pool.
