A great location close to the Light Rail and to the Darling Quarter facilities. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. It was great to have a clothing rack in the room so I could easily unpack my luggage. The pub downstairs serves good food at great prices with enticing entertainment.

I did not realise that I would not have a kitchenette in my room and I had brought items needing a fridge. I used the communal fridge but was not able to monitor my items and when I could see they had moved I threw them away just in case.

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable bed. 24 hr convenience store across the road. Food and drinks downstairs are well priced and yummy.

So close to getting accommodation right. Just a few small details and it could be perfect - power cords hanging from the TV, chipped tile, mold on shower curtain. Karaoke nights might be louder for some but it doesn’t bother me. Even with these things I still always choose to stay here when in town for business as it’s so handy and staff are great.

Great room in the back of pub, awesome staff/service. shower had great pressure. Great local, walking distance to water taxi/downtown/chinatown. Would stay here again.

Wifi was great in the pub, but in the room I may have been too far from router for it to work properly. Could be a little noisy on weekends/game nights, but its expected staying in a pub Inn is all about. Not loud enough to keep me away

Staff were wonderful and friendly. Incredibly helpful when we forgot our keys. Very competitive pricing, great location and easily accessible walking distance to many local exhibition halls and cafes. Slept well on comfortable and clean bed. Not even bothered by any bar noise. Would stay again next time when returning to Sydney. The split system aircon in the room was an absolute blessing for someone like myself who gets overheated very quickly.

Another small bin in the main area rather than a tiny bin in the bathroom. Lowering the pull cord for the blinds on the right hand side in Room 1 so short people like myself can pull them down. The shutters allow a fair bit of light in that hits you right in the face early morning.

Good location, pub downstairs was nice and sells take away drinks that can be had in the room. Good staff. Each day they provide you with 4 slices of bread, cereal, lots of jam, honey and butter, apple juice and milk. This was very generous. Did exactly what we needed.

Old decor

It was ideally situated for the centre of Sidney, close to transport links. Breakfast was a help yourself outside the room including tea, coffee, fruit juice, bread, butter, jam, milk, cereal and biscuits. very good for travellers on a budget to set you up for the day. Food in bar reasonably priced and staff friendly and helpful. Information leaflets about attractions etc and staff are very helpful.

The bar is open until 3am from which I couldn’t hear any noise, except on karaoke night! but it didn’t keep me awake so no problem.

The only thing that brings the score down on this charming little old world. Hotel, with very friendly and helpful. Staff, is the fact that the air conditioning units are not good enough. The room was very hot. Other than this, we will continue to stay here on every trip to Sydney. Thanks to Tim who was very helpful. Colleen

More powerful, effective, air-conditioning unit in room

The location for price was great The staff were so cheerful and so helpful on arrival and leaving. The restaurant food was amazing, steak on a roc!!

Bathroom needs upgrading asap but functional and good hot shower! Room key was a worry as it opened the doors and ours didn’t lock from the inside.

I loved panoramic window with an imaging view for Melbourne sky scribes, tiny, midterm and clean Appartment at the 19 th floor and comfortable location. It’s close to river bank with restaurants, cafe, palms and green grass zones for resting. And easy to get from airport by Shuttle bus to the Bus station and 15 min by foot to the hotel.

The staff were amazing. David in particular welcomed us with exceptional hospitality skills and ensured we were taken care of. Later when we dined and had late night drinks, the lovely barman was fantastic. We will be back. Oh, and the food was exceptional!!!
