I previously stayed in this hotel in 2018 for a night since I was booked in one of the hotels in Sydney. Just wanted to feel how it was like staying around Parramatta and I wasn't disappointed. I had breakfast then in my room and the serving was really huge! Loved my American breakfast. When I again returned to Australia this October, I did not hesitate to stay in Holiday Inn Parramatta. Everything exceeded my expectation from the welcoming front office staff, the cleanliness of my room, the helpful and honest room cleaners, the hotel ambiance and its proximity to everything I enjoy doing. Lastly, I'd like commend the efficiency, honesty and kindness of the hotel service staff.

Wouldn't say I didn't like, but just a few things to match other 4 star hotels I've stayed in before. Maybe they could provide guests with bathroom robe, bedroom sleepers, shower cap and a body scrub towel.😉

Great location, clean & well maintained hotel. Quiet & felt safe. Located 5 minute walk to the train station & also to the big Westfield Shopping Centre. Short train to Accor Stadium. We were in Sydney for the Taylor Swift concert at the Accor Stadium & this hotel was the perfect location. The lobby was decorated in Taylor Swift style & they were playing her music which was a great touch! So nice to arrive to this!

The hair-dryer! Definitely needs to be a more powerful hair-dryer. I only have shoulder-length hair & the hair-dryer provided was totally useless. Also, it needs better pillows. They were either too hard or too soft.

Room - twin room, Beds comfy, towels large enough. Food - Separate bar also doing coffee was good, reasonably priced and oat milk quite tasty. Breakfast offered an excellent choice, roomy dining area, freshly supplied food Location - suited my needs perfectly. Easy to find. Could walk down to the River if needed, not too far. Good local restaurants mostly Indian. Parking not too expensive overnight and seemed to have plenty of spaces

Room - beds a bit close together. Desk and chair does take up quite a bit of room unnecessarily. Offer these to business travellers but ask others if they need a desk and allocate rooms accordingly (some with desks others with more room)

Great location not too far from the train station and CBD. 15kms approx from Olympic Park, It's a great stay for those commuting to events. The staff were exceptional and breakfast had a good array to choose from. We had a twin double room which was perfect for our needs and the bed big enough for a 6ft man. Parking is next door and not too expensive

Unfortunately the let down would be the bathroom has a lowered ceiling making the shower/bath combo only good for those on the shorter side. My family member who is 130kg 6'3" wouldn't fit. Possibly they may have options on other floors that are bigger than this. Otherwise a great stay but it was a tad pricy for the amenities provided (tiny milks (although enough)) and no bikkies or an eating table, but I did stay for a night that there was a big event at Olympic Park and everything was basically booked out so there may be a rate increase there.

The buffet breakfast for $25 per adult (kids eat free) was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. Nice and close to Parramatta train station, Westfield Shopping Centre, restaurants, etc. All within a 5 minute walk. The gym and heated pool were a welcome bonus. We stayed during Easter so the staff held an Easter egg hunt on the Sunday morning. Great work!

The pool and pool area needs a bit of TLC and repair work. The kids got a few scrapes and cuts from broken tiles in and around the pool.

I stayed with my family during the Xmas hoildays. The staff were friendly. The rooms were cleaned on regular basis. Only issue was the laundry which wasn't available during that time. I have to goto nearby laundry to get it sorted. Other than that everything meets our expectations. Thank you Holiday inn. See you around next time.

The proximity. We paid for breakfast and it was fabulous and great service. Staff were beautiful.

The shower was in the spa bath. I'm short so getting in and out was difficult. I wondered how the elderly people would struggle with that. The bathroom needs updating. They don't have a side entry from the carpark. You have to walk all the way through the front. In wet weather that's terrible and dangerous. And parking should be included for guests but its $20.00.

The service, cleanliness and location were excellent. The staff were amazing always willing to assist with anything I required. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Only one thing could be better was the size of the restaurant for breakfast. It was quite a busy time at the hotel and there was a wait for breakfast especially over the weekend.

Good location, near the Parramatta train station. Clean and comfortable. Good options for pillows (soft or firm). Buffet breakfast and kids eat free is a nice touch.

It feels humid inside the building, also the air cond doesn’t seem to be strong enough to cool the room. Room smells a bit damp. Building looks a bit outdated.

Awesome location, very nice staff & nice room. So many restaurants at walking distance on Harris Street. Parramatta train station at 5-7 mins walking distance. Westfield shopping centre connected to the train station too. Was easy to go to city & back aswell. Loved our stay at the hotel.

It's the same buffet breakfast every day. Definitely need more options for vegetarians. We stayed there for 5 nights. Whatever few options were there as we are vegetarian felt very repetitive.
