the location right on the harbour under the sydney harbour bridge was amazing. the bar/dining and alfresco areas were awesome. rooms nice and big and very comfortable. Valet parking made arrival/departure a breeze, and was welcomed with a welcome-drink. We mentioned it was our anniversary, so they gave us a congratulations gift as well.

we paid for the bridge view room, and although it was a great view of the bridge itself (so close that you could only see the bridge itself -no water view) we felt a bit disappointed that the windows were so dirty we couldnt appreciate the view or take, what could have been, a stunning photo.

The location was excellent. This was our 1st time traveling to Australia. Being on the water was beautiful, walking outside the hotel and seeing the iconic Sydney Opera House at sunrise & sunset was magical. The hotel is tucked back and quiet, but steps to everything. The morning breakfast was a wonderful and delicious way to start the day.

The only slight hiccup was checking in. The person gave us incorrect information about several things, but everything else was top notch.

It must be one of the very best locations in Sydney. You couldnt go wrong, really. We did not have a view of the Harbour Bridge but that was fine, we liked looking at the water and the next Wharf along. A large room, with a comfortable sofa bed for one of us.

We had a substantial leak into the room during a severe rain storm, from the window frame. But this could not be helped I am sure, in an older building, and the staff were outstanding in dealing with it, providing towels and an engineer to assess the source. The hotel also gave us a generous credit to use at the bar and restaurant, as compensation. All round, they handled it brilliantly.

The hotel was interesting, clean, and had beautiful appointments. The location was fabulous. From my window I watched a group of thrill seekers scale and then decend the framework of the harbor bridge. Walking distance to everywhere you want to go in Sydney. Loved how they had maintained some of the character of the historic building while making it sleek and modern at the same time.

Everyone of the staff was kind and welcoming. I did get the impression that the service staff in the restaurant needed some help as it appeared that during the dinner service there were only two and the one who served me was also seating people.

We upgraded to heaven. Admiralty Room is probably the best location and ambience on Sydney Harbour, right under the Bridge with spectacular views in all directions. Buffet breakfast was superb. Bar area is a dream.

My brother and sister weren't upgraded and had asked for rooms with beautiful views. They booked well in advance, but were located in inferior rooms for their class of booking. My sister in particular had a dark room looking across at a wharf instead of upriver, and was disappointed as we had all travelled interstate for a special occasion.

We asked for a room change staff put us on list but never got back to us. Heritage room has no view and little seating comfort. We spent most of time down stairs so to have a view. I personally felt disappointed as it was a two day much needed Christmas break,

Where do I begin? We stayed here for my boyfriends birthday and it was exceptional! Yulia (who was incredibly friendly and deserves a pay rise) took care of us from the moment we walked in - complimentary cocktail, bottle of wine and breakfast! Buffet breakfast overlooks the wharf and had a good selection of food. The location is central to Sydney's Harbour bridge and opera house, yet I felt secluded from the bustling city over looking the water from our Juliet balcony room. Beautiful and clean rooms with thoughtfully placed amenities. The bed and pillows were so comfortable which is a must for me. As a local, this is an amazing place to stay if you are visiting Sydney for the first time!

Magnificent location and vibe, superbly comfortable beds and rooms. Ship style layout along a corridor was fascinating. Food was pricy but excellent, congrats to the chef! Sitting on the water's edge of Sydney Harbour watching the sunsets is a dream come true...

Three rooms were booked, all asked for 'beautiful view'. One got upgraded to a magnificent view, the other two looked out at a wharf instead of upriver or across the harbour, disappointing for them.

It is a good location very close to the Harbour Bridge. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lovely outdoor seating area outside of the bar. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely design touches.

The bar was very busy as conferences were being held. We left as it was noisy and claustrophobic. Our room was noisy say it was above a plant room. The window of the room was small as it is a converted warehouse. And looked out on to a road where Some motorcycles decided to have a race in the early hours.

from the moment we stepped out of the car we were made to feel very welcomed. The location, the staff, the decor was exceptional with lovely comfortable rooms. the meals were delicious as were the cocktails. upon our arrival Lily who checked us in heard us mention that the day was the first day of our retirement and upon our return to our room after a walk we were greeted with a beautiful bottle of wine and lovely card congratulating us. gestures like this go a very long away and was much appreciated.
