The location was great for what we needed. We had a lovely city and river view from our room. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean (aside the vent). Free parking at the property was good, but was a little confusing working out which spots could and could not be used. The pool and spa were nice. The bond was returned to us very quickly.

The bathroom was more dated and different to the ones in the photos, I note the check in information said about renovations but they are old dates unsure if maybe the renovations are still ongoing or not. The vent in the entry to the room was also quite visibly mouldy. In all honesty considering the price it would’ve been good to know what the bathroom looked like. I hope they’re being updated still as would definitely consider staying again.

It was right next door to the Mater private hospital. From the hospital we could access the Mater Hill train station. At the bottom of the hill on Vulture st we could access the train station where we could go into the city and also directly to and from the airport. Woolworths was also located at the train station. From this location also we could walk to Southbank.

The only cooking facility was a microwave., but we managed with microwave meals.

We’ve stayed here many times as it’s close to the children’s hospital. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, facilities are great and most rooms are clean and comfortable.

This time around the bathroom was very outdated, shower head was leaking and broken and didn’t seem very clean. The only other complaint is the noise from this particular room. Could hear our neighbours clear as day watching a movie until 1am and traffic noise. But I’m saying that not all rooms are like this!

Friendly and efficient service at check-in and check out. Lifts are large and quick. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was great with plenty of pressure and flow. Plenty of outdoor carparks which is handy if you have a high vehicle. Underground is also available, although most parks are reserved.

Room is showing its age. Some of the fixtures and appliances had been knocked around and/or really needed replacing (e.g. wonky bedside lamps and a crappy iron and ironing board). However none of these issues really affected our stay.

The room was nice and clean. Convenient location. It's a shame the restaurant is closed. One staff member was very helpful and she even called us the next day as the cleaners had found an earring. It's easy to get in and out of the building at night. A pleasant stay.

The mattress of the single bed needed an upgrade as it was saggy.

Check-in was easy, room was nice, the balcony had an outdoor table and chairs, awesome view from our room, parking onsite was great, great location about a 5 min walk to Southbank Parklands area, friendly staff :)

The curtains were dirty, furniture is a little outdated, no in-room coffee machine, the laundry was not functioning on our level and the dryer on the next level was broken, we were only given 2 towels (there were 3 of us) and no flannels.

Location to Mater Private Hospital

Renovations being done. I understand it is necessity just unfortunate that it was when we were staying & sleep wasn’t at a premium so wanted it whenever we could get it & with work being done we didn’t always have that opportunity.

The Tv in the Lounge did not work and the one in the bedroom had no remote. I was staying in on the Friday night and if it had not been for the help of Dean I would of been disappointed. He went above and beyond in helping me out and replaced the TV in the lounge for me. Thanks Dean.

I personally think the price I paid was high but appreciate that there was football at the GABBA

The location was perfect for our visit as was just a short walk to the gabba and a short walk to southbank. It's a bit further if you need to get to CBD but not that much further. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful, we felt very welcomed . Loved that there is a balcony and It was comfortable to sleep. The hotel is clean and the pool and spa was great!

The room was a little bit outdated including tv which isn't ideal if your staying in at night but still comfortable to sleep. The shower pressure wasn't great but again manageable for a couple of nights and you can definitely hear the doors of other rooms closing which was not helped as there was a door to walk through to get two other doors.

Very clean and comfortable and in a great location for a great price. Person checking us in was hilarious and made the check in process easy and quick.

Little bit outdated, but expected for the price. And the cafe was closed in the morning, which was a little disappointing. The light switch in our room was in a really weird place and I nearly pressed the alarm buttons instead when returning home, whoops!
