Its a cozy, clean and convenient location with nice beds with electrically heated blankets. The bathroom was nice and tidy. The location of this place is awesome, and very close to Hobart CBD, Mount Wellington and other tourist spots. The place has a really nice heated swimming area, table tennis facilities, and charged washing machine / dryer facilities with nice towels available for your room.

Internet was very slow and unreliable. The place is old and walking up and down the stairs was noisy. We felt this place is a bit pricey consider we stayed there in the off-peak season.

Property had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Views to the city from the front of the property were fantastic. Nearby Paesano Italian restaurant within walking distance was excellent. Having laundry facilities and small courtyard was appreciated and the indoor pool for a swim was a bonus. Also an area for ping pong, pool table and games area was good.

Nothing really. It was suitable for our needs. One thing I would recommend was if there was an automatic light to come on when coming out of our unit. I almost went over when walking out to the car as I didn’t see the small step down.

Lovely view over Hobart and the harbour from our balcony apartment. Very spacious, modern and clean - had everything we needed for self-catering. Comfortable bed and sofa, lots of towels provided, very quiet. Lovely gardens and indoor pool was a bonus. Games room great for families. Nearby cafes and supermarket were convenient - but keep in mind it is very hilly suburb!

We were given an accessible apartment so there was a shower curtain instead of glass screen in the bathroom - we didn't need this and so the water overflow on the floor was a bit annoying (but really only a very small issue overall - and it is great that they are available for those that need wheelchair access).

The view was fantastic. We kept saying standing there feeling we were in the movie of Kiki's Delivery. Through the second-floor window, I caught a glimpse of a wallaby hopping by in the dust. Rooms are of okay sizes, but the beds are super comfy. The only improvement is probably to provide a room service every 3 days. We stayed 5 nights, and there were no room services at all in that 5 days.

Lovely staff, very understanding when our arrival time was later than expected due to family illness.

The room was too light, Curtains did not cover the window adequately from external security lights that were on all night. The sun was streaming into room very early via gaps around curtains. not good for restful sleep. Shower was hit and miss.. Took a long time to get hot water then it changed often and quickly to too hot.. Fluctuated many times during short shower.. Gave up on washing hair as water temperature was too unpredictable. and the risk of burning self. In the morning we noticed lots of residue all over our car as well as others that had been parked in front of their units overnight. It was yellowish and like droplets, very sticky and hard to remove. Not sure where it came from, but very annoying to drive with until we could get to somewhere with hot water and scrubber.

The heated indoor pool and games room for the kids. the kitchenette was clean and had everything we needed to organise breakfast and then head off for the day. Practical and comfortable. a little home away from home.

It might need a little touch up here and there. it was very very clean but the paint seems to be falling off the walls in certain rooms and so it looks a tad “old”. Downstairs looked updated, new appliances, etc and so did upstairs bathroom. The bedrooms might need a little freshen up.

Central location, very friendly staff, good amenities and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and also would stay here again if we travel to Hobart in the future. The room was neat and also roomy we enjoyed our stay at bay view villas. Stayed for 6 nights and got fresh towels about half way through plus general housekeeping too which was nice 😄.

The only thing which was strange was having to pay to use the laundry facilities. The pool also didn't seem very warm but that's a small issue seeing as we went in the middle of May.

The apartment was spacious for four people. Excellent facilities to prepare you own meals if you wanted. Plenty of seating for all. Good location not far from the city and a short walk to an excellent cafe. The beds were acceptably comfortable.

The upstairs floor and stairs were quite squeaky, so it was impossible to move around the apartment without disrupting others. This apartment would not be suitable for those with mobility issues as the bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs.

1.Only 4 beds were provided for 5 people. The staff forgot about it, however when reminded they provided the same. 2.Out of the 3 nights we stayed there, we could not park our car in front of our apartment for 2 nights as someone else had parked their cars. When we checked this with reception, they informed that there was no provision for numbered parking which I feel should be there. 3.The trays in the over were greasy & not clean. 4.There was no pancake pan/griddle for cooking flat breads/rotis. We had a lot of difficulty cooking them in other pan.

Immaculately clean unit with everything needed for a comfortable stay. A few minutes drive to the CBD. Pleasant views from the living room. Friendly staff. Nothing was difficult, no complaints. Lovely view of Mt Wellington from the front lawn.

The bedding was clean and warm however I found the mattress wasn't great for more than a couple of nights, we started to get quite uncomfortable. Having said that, I realise it's hard to please everyone.
