The location was great, right by the bus stop from and to the airport. Also one of the pick-up stops for one of the tours we booked. The staff were always very nice and helpful. The bathroom sink in the first room we got was clogged and they immediately changed our room from a twin to a queen sized bed, late at night. The following day, we had two beds in the room. We appreciated the little kitchenette which allowed us to prepare coffee, tea and breakfast for very early mornings.

The number of towels was never the right one. It seems to be a general issue at all accommodation we had in Australia. There were two of us, friends sharing a twin room, we never had two tea towels and two hand towels. We had to ask each day.

Central location, secure parking onsite for rental car. Attentive, friendly and helpful staff: reception, food services and housekeeping. Common areas clean and well maintained. Signage clear. My compact queen room was perfect for a solo traveller who expects to be out and about. The room looked recently redecorated, was nicely presented, and had great views. The bed and linens were a dream to sleep in. The WIFI and aircon worked perfectly, and the kitchenette and bathroom facilities were sparkling clean. I left the Travelodge deciding that this will always be my go-to accommodation in Tasmania.

The room was clean and seemed newly painted and decorated. The bed was comfortable and made up each day. We liked the fact that there was a small sink in the room to fill the kettle with (so many places expect you to fill a kettle from the bathroom sink which is often almost impossible), and the tea/coffee was replenished each day. The location was excellent, so close to walk to everything.

There was a bit of noise through the walls but not enough to be too disturbing. The soap dispensers had been put in the wrong place, with the shampoo next to the hand basin instead of in the shower, but when we told the reception staff they said they would get it corrected.

The location was very good, walking distance to useful things,, and to good food places. Quite and comfortable, the staff very efficient and helpful.

The outlets were in odd places, the bedside tables had USB blocks in place to use which was helpful but no other plugs in useful spots. The lighting was mostly from lamps and the entrance light, so the room was not overly bright at night. The TV was not a smart TV though it was a modern looking flat screen Samsung that I believe would have had the capability, in today's world streaming or allowing people to stream from their own devices to the tv should be almost standard but it could just be me 😂

The hotel is a quick 3-min walk from the Skybus bus stop so it's very convenient. It is within walking distance to most places around town. Reception staff was helpful and accommodating. We were given a corner room that has a lot of natural light which is good. Bathroom is decent size with a small shower cubicle and good water pressure. There is a SMART TV in the room which has a built-in screen mirroring function.

Our room is right above the main road which has a bit of traffic noise.

Enjoyed our stay at the Travelodge. Except for a couple of things!

Arrived a little bit early. Knowing not being allowed to get into room, but being offered an early entry if you coughed up another $20. What happened to customer service. A lot of places we have stayed at, if you are an hour or two early they sometimes give you the room early. We understand if they don’t. But if the room was available which it must of been, because they offered it but only at an extra charge. Shower rather small. One of two lifts not working. The one working was very slow.

Location could not be better, seriously, can't overstate that. Also liked the possibility to park the car at the hotel (at a fee mind you).

It wasn't a huge deal as it was relatively easy to sort out, but I'd organised for an upgrade on the room to include an extra person but looks like the process for this was done somewhat informally. During check-in they were under the impression the extra cost for the upgrade hadn't been included in my total fee and I had to show the chat history on the app so they could see that it had. I'd suggest Travelodge record these upgrades in a clearer manner so reception staff isn't put in this uncomfortable position.

Excellent staff throughout. Breakfast was very good value and really good, choice and presentation, without being exceptional. Room exceptionally clean and orderly. Small bathroom but it all worked and was well equipped. Underground secure garage a huge plus. It was cramped but adequate. $15 great value. Great hotel location.

We were in 403, corner room with two street frontages. Traffic noise at night was intrusive, would recommend rooms -05 and beyond. It seems that since the dreaded covid hit in 2020 it has provided ALL accommodation and other service facilities an excuse to reduce "niceities" in their facility as a result everything seems clinical and austere. Despite the above we'd stay there again without hesitation

Staff were friendly. The price vs what is provided is very good in comparison to what is in the area. Nice that they have parking available for a very reasonable daily fee. excellent location to everything in the city - lots of restaurants within walking distance and quite close to fancy cafes, salamanca market etc which made it easy to get around and visit some of the tourist spots without having to take the car and find parking. Overall this is an excellent location to have a base camp location while venturing out and doing touristy things during the day.

The shower situation is a bit bizarre. It's a roughly 1m x 1m shower with a single screen of glass dividing the shower area from the toilet while being flanked by 2 walls and then a completely open section, in other words a very small open sided shower. This means that even when being very careful the water from the shower covers almost the entire bathroom floor as well as your toiletries by the basin. They provide shampoo. conditioner and shower gel in dispensers but because of the tiny shower size these dispensers are mounted on the wall outside the shower area adding to the water going all over the floor. There's also no extractor fan in the bathroom which isn't great as there is no ventilation for the bathroom during/after showering or using the toilet.

The bed and facilities were comfortable and the room was quiet. The lift was reliable, and I liked the bonus of having a wireless phone charger by the bed. The receptionist who checked me in was fantastic too, she gave a very warm welcome with friendly talk about my work travel. Well located with a short walk to the malls and Salamanca eating places. Having parking available on site was an added bonus.

The shower screen in the room was a little scummy and could do with a bit of a scrub. Or perhaps the glass is a bit cloudy. Otherwise no issues :)
