The location is literally perfect. The room was nice and comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly. I would recommend it, if someone wants to be in the city centre (or close to) but wants a cheaper option.

The breakfast does not worth the price. It is the same every single morning, no change, no vegetables at all, no ham, no salami. There are a few options, but if you're like me and you cannot eat sweet for breakfast, you are better off not paying for it and go to a cafe instead. The parking garage is tiny, if you rent a small car it is okay, but if you have a bigger SUV, absolutely forget it, you won't make it out.

My friend and I stayed in a family room. We wanted to be close but still have some privacy. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found that it wasn't a 2 bedroom apartment but 2 separate apartments with a joined door. This meant that we both had our own bathroom and full privacy if needed. The larger room had a kitchenette, lounge area and bathtub. The smaller room tea coffee making facilities and shower only. The bed configuration in this family room could be 2 singles and a queen. The lounge was not suitable for sleeping on by an adult but could be OK for a child. Both beds were comfortable shower in larger apartment was fantastic not so great in the smaller room. Location, easy down hill walk to salamanka markets, bars and port and to the CBD. And a not to strenuous walk back, but did burn a few calories. Bonus you could buy bottles of wine and beer from reception.

Located in the CBD and close to the wharf district made it very easy to visit the main attractions of Hobart. It is good value for money for those with limited budgets. It's fully furnished, so you only need to bring your consumables. Parking, while very limited, is convenient and easily accessed. Be wary though - many streets in the CBD are one-way only, and it will catch you out.

Not a dislike at all, more of an inconvenience is that the room size could've been slighly larger, they are compact, but still quite comfortable. Onsite parking is limited when available, but both of these inconveniences are beyond the control of Travelodge, it's just the footprint of the building that limits its size.

The location was great, right by the bus stop from and to the airport. Also one of the pick-up stops for one of the tours we booked. The staff were always very nice and helpful. The bathroom sink in the first room we got was clogged and they immediately changed our room from a twin to a queen sized bed, late at night. The following day, we had two beds in the room. We appreciated the little kitchenette which allowed us to prepare coffee, tea and breakfast for very early mornings.

The number of towels was never the right one. It seems to be a general issue at all accommodation we had in Australia. There were two of us, friends sharing a twin room, we never had two tea towels and two hand towels. We had to ask each day.

Central location, secure parking onsite for rental car. Attentive, friendly and helpful staff: reception, food services and housekeeping. Common areas clean and well maintained. Signage clear. My compact queen room was perfect for a solo traveller who expects to be out and about. The room looked recently redecorated, was nicely presented, and had great views. The bed and linens were a dream to sleep in. The WIFI and aircon worked perfectly, and the kitchenette and bathroom facilities were sparkling clean. I left the Travelodge deciding that this will always be my go-to accommodation in Tasmania.

The room was clean and seemed newly painted and decorated. The bed was comfortable and made up each day. We liked the fact that there was a small sink in the room to fill the kettle with (so many places expect you to fill a kettle from the bathroom sink which is often almost impossible), and the tea/coffee was replenished each day. The location was excellent, so close to walk to everything.

There was a bit of noise through the walls but not enough to be too disturbing. The soap dispensers had been put in the wrong place, with the shampoo next to the hand basin instead of in the shower, but when we told the reception staff they said they would get it corrected.

We stayed on the 9th floor it was beautiful view over the water! The room was a decent size for two. I liked the pump bottles in the bathrooms so you don’t run out. Rooms were clean, sheets clean, staff got us in our room early as well.

My experience was great. My daughter in her booking had a car space booked for 3 days and had to park over around the block at Collins which was a hassle and a bit of a pain each day to go get the car to pick us up (we are older), then drop us and go park. Other than that I was happy.

The location was very good, walking distance to useful things,, and to good food places. Quite and comfortable, the staff very efficient and helpful.

The outlets were in odd places, the bedside tables had USB blocks in place to use which was helpful but no other plugs in useful spots. The lighting was mostly from lamps and the entrance light, so the room was not overly bright at night. The TV was not a smart TV though it was a modern looking flat screen Samsung that I believe would have had the capability, in today's world streaming or allowing people to stream from their own devices to the tv should be almost standard but it could just be me 😂

Elevated location with city views. Less than a ten minute walk down to the waterfront with a wide variety of bars and restaurants. The secure underground parking was one of the main reasons for booking the hotel and $15 a night was not unreasonable. The breakfast was included and the usual combination of cooked and continental options available.

The shower cubicle was tiny and water leaked under the frame and onto the floor. This was reported to reception. The water temperature and pressure was fine.

The hotel is a quick 3-min walk from the Skybus bus stop so it's very convenient. It is within walking distance to most places around town. Reception staff was helpful and accommodating. We were given a corner room that has a lot of natural light which is good. Bathroom is decent size with a small shower cubicle and good water pressure. There is a SMART TV in the room which has a built-in screen mirroring function.

Our room is right above the main road which has a bit of traffic noise.
