The room was laid out brilliantly. Bed was bouncy but comfortable, fantastic having a private outdoor part with chairs and table to sit at where you can smoke. Bathroom was lovely, shower was great. Fantastic array of lighting choices and powerpoints on both sides of the bed. Dinner from the club was brilliant and they delivered it to our door. The room was soundproof no noise from club next door or the highway. Plenty of delivery options for food and service stations and supermarkets are really close. TV has access to You Tube, Netflix and normal channels.

Nothing, this was a great place and is going to be our go to stay when in Hobart area.

Breakfast was not included in our stay, we chose to cater for ourselves in our room. The bistro and bar were handy as were all the close amenities. A short drive into Hobart itself and a great suburb to head off north east, inland and Richmond and the wineries.

The rooms have a microwave, toaster, electric kettle and fridge, however, the utensils and plates were limited in the room. Two tiny plates and bowls and no dinner plates with a tea towel, a couple of pieces of cutlery. We would eat out big for lunch and grab something from the local gourmet grocery store next door for dinner and every night would ask at Reception for two dinner plates and every day the cleaners would take them away. With a tea towel there should be a small bottle of dish liquid and sponge. The makeup of our room was hit and miss. We would pull our bed up every day and some days the cleaners would perfect it and other days not touch it. The outside patio table and chairs was dirty from the previous guests and we had to ask to have it cleaned.

We were just looking for accommodation for 1 night that was close to the airport. Our room had everything we needed and was quiet, roomy, well laid out, comfortable, clean, with a "black out" curtain and a quiet reverse cycle A/C. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel has two restaurants, good menus, and good food. The hotel is next door to a wonderful whole food market serving wholesome breakfasts and lunches, an Asian restaurant and a chemist, newsagent and bottle shop. It's also conveniently located SW of the Airport and SE of the Hobart CBD. We loved it!

Before making the trip, not sure a night in Lauderdale Foreshore Hotel is good, as Hobart is not that far away. It turned out, it was a good night stay. The hotel room was good and car park is just right in front. The restaurant, gaming room and bar are lively and staff were friendly. Had fun with the slot machine and KENO. It has been ages since I last played KENO. Plus point.. There was a live band playing in the bar. A week in Tasmania, this was the latest hour of the night that I had gone back to hotel room. Lastly, beautiful evening view across the street.

The mattress is too springy, a slight movement will shakes the whole bed. There is only ONE hanger in wardrobe.

"Fantastic Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable"

"the staff are so accommodating and helpful"This is such a surprised! The place is beautiful. Great facility. Amazingly large room with great beds (double bed). Great bathroom sizes too. One thing I just want to add put bigger plates rather than small plates in khichen area. but to be honest everything else was very clean. The counter opens 24 hours and got bars and restaurants in the place because it is a casino. Plenty of car park for free is amazing. Would definitely stay again!

the rooms are away from the main part of the hotel, so you don't hear any noise, there is no through traffic so fairly secure as well. there is a supermarket 2 mins walk away and it has a short order cooking area that serves up a great breakfast from 0730, the hotel itself does a good steak as well.

the location is a bit out of Hobart, but close to the airport and only just over an hour to Port Arthur. so if you are needing to do a few trips into the city, you might want to get somewhere closer.

this is an excellent place to stay, we have stayed here a couple of times and often come back. right next to a supermarket and pharmacy a couple of restaurants on site that do a take away service, sadly though they only do a room service breakfast, but eh not an issue very clean and comfy, has an outdoor enclosed veranda and opposite a nice big waterfront. the staff look after you

in most hotels/motels the trash bin is very small...... but eh, get a plastic bag and put your rubbish in that so basically....nothing worth complaining about, it is a great place

Very nice motel/hotel 15 minutes drive from the airport. Much better than other star hotels as there is a TV with Netflix and other options and the bathroom with lots of creams, soaps and shampoos for personal hygiene. There is also the option to make yourself a coffee or tea. And finally, the girls at reception and in the bistro are very nice and helpful. The bistro offers good food and excellent beer. For breakfast or shopping, there is a supermarket a few metres away. A must on the next trip to Tasmania.

We loved that the bistro was so close and there was a supermarket within walking distance as well. We dined at the bistro everynight , food normal type of bistro food, staff super friendly. It was nice and quiet of a night , rooms were very clean and serviced daily. It was only a 25 minute drive to hobart cbd and 25 minutes in the opposite direction to the beautiful opposum bay.

The beds were a little uncomfortable

We chose this property because it was 15-20 minutes out of town near the water. While we only stayed one night the facilities were very clean and the adjacent pub had a good bistro where we had a drink and some lunch. The weather was terrible but the facilities were new, fairly spacious with lots of parking and were spotlessly clean. Check in was easy and the staff all friendly and efficient. Would stay again if the need arose. In warm fine weather this would be a great spot to access the beach.

Nothing in particular not to like.
