Mountain view from 15th floor was very good. Lifts were very fast and quiet, staff were all friendly and informative. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate. In room TV was quite good, with various free to air channels and some movie channel options.

Dinner options within the Casino/Hotel complex a bit limited, thought the roast (pork or lamb) carvery was quite good; generous and supplemented by a good vegetable array. Shower in my room was a bit clunky; the shower-rose kept falling forward unless very carefully balanced completely upright. King size bed was two smaller beds pushed together and mattress a wee bit softer than I prefer, but comfy, clean and warm.

We had a room on the 10th floor facing the bay. The views were incredible. Very spacious and clean. Housecleaning staff were super friendly, some of the staff on the desk were friendlier than others.

We had breakfast included (however it was paid for $30pp per day in our booking). I wish we could have turned back time and not bought it for the 4 nights. It was dreadful. The staff had no control over unhygienic people coughing etc and then touching serving dishes. The hot food was cold and I had sort the pile of “clean” plates to find one that was actually clean. The one good part of the breakfast was the pastries. Would have requested a refund for breakfast however we needed to leave early on our check out morning.

The bed was absolutely amazing!! most comfortable bed i have ever slept on, if you can tell me what type of mattress it is that would be the best. The view was incredible! and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were always very welcoming and accomodating.

When requesting the free buffet breakfast with the promotion going in June it was declined due to the amount we paid for the room.. One of the elevators was down during our stay which made getting up to our room and down quite time consuming. The room biscuits need to be something nicer they weren't good at all :( Couldn't upload images to feedback

The room at Wrest Point Casino Hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after busy days at a conference. The view from my room was breathtaking, offering panoramic scenes of the beautiful Hobart waterfront that were especially stunning at sunrise and sunset. Additionally, the dinner selection was diverse and delicious, with high-quality ingredients and excellent service.

The only drawback was the hotel's distance from the city center, approximately 3 km away, which wasn't comfortably walkable. This made it slightly inconvenient for exploring more of Hobart on foot.

Breakfast was delicous very well set out and beautiful Location looking out over the Harbour, the Pool and Spa were warm and relaxing i really enjoyed them, We had a lovely meal in the bistro christmas in July carvery was really yummy

One of the lifts was out of order which made getting around a little more difficult than usual we waited a long time for a lift on many occasions especially when checking out we waited nearly 30 mins for a lift as everytime it opened it was full, i was also looking forward to a Harbour veiw as i have always had a mountain veiw unfortunatley i didn't relise we were on the first floor and we had the roof of the revolving restaurant as our view i was a little dissapointed as i love sitting back in the room and looking out at the veiw so next time i book i will make sure i am not on the first floor but i still love the place and will definitely be back 😊

What a view to wake up to it was stunning even on an overcast wet day. sitting and having breakfast was also amazing as we had a water-view table. at night to see the lights of the city of Hobart was second to none. I know its not a huge city but being a boatie it was awesome to see the lights of the town interspersed with the navigational channel markers filling the night views, It is Such a relaxing place I feel Hobart is still a secret to many. It was also interesting to note that The Wrest Point Casino is the oldest Casino in Australia yet so elegant with the recent refurbishment.

The weather could have been better however that is Tasmania and wasn't unexpected. I would have loved to have stayed longer and will probably be back around Christmas time for a longer stay.

The fitness centre had a well supplied gym, pool, spa and sauna. The staff were friendly and gave us great parking recommendations in the city. Parking at the hotel was easy. It felt pretty luxurious in the lobby. Even the view from the parking lot was nice. Great easy to find location, quick drive from a lot of places we checked out in Hobart.

It being a casino hotel felt a bit dystopian... when you go downstairs and see a dimly lit room of pensioners sitting at pokies machines, you realise where the hotel makes its money.

Rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice, albeit a bit dark. Well apointed, comfortable, clean, and everything worked well. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the view each morning makes it all worth it. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and very good at their jobs. Facilities are showing their age smd could use an update but were in good working order. Plenty of free parking on site. 24 hour front desk, very well priced in-room dining.

The rooms don't offer great light or noise insulation from the corridor. Don't expect much glamour from the casino or bars on site. Gambling isn't my thing but it would be nice to see a wider variety of table games, rather than 90% pokies - which you can find at any leagues club or RSL. The "oldest casino in Australia" should feel more special in my opinion.

Good-sized room, comfortable, view of greenery out of the window, good location for what we wanted, good pictures of performers on the walls.

Minor comments really, but: 1) the walls were very thin - I could hear next door eating their (very early) room service through the walls! 2) The shower was fine, but the taps were very sensitive and on one day it was pretty temperamental 3) The pool was very short and it took me a long time to find - I don't think the signs around the hotel for it were very clear!

Staff were incredible, so helpful and knowledgeable. We were on the 14th floor so had an awesome view of Mt Wellington which was a pleasant surprise considering the price offered with the genius discount. Room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The facilities offered can't be beaten. I could of stayed in the spa forever.

When exiting the elevator on the 14th floor it smelled a bit damp. This smell was not inside the room. It was difficult to get the heat pump working due to the "mood"lighting, I had to use the flashlight on my phone and there was no toilet brush to clean the toilet. All issues easy to live with
