We based ourselves at this property both at the beginning and end of a Tasmania Bikepacking trip. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate us and our bikes. The location is superb, with the stunning waterfront only a 15 second walk away, and the Sandy Bay Shops (with some great cafe's and bars) probably only 15min walk away or less (Hint: Go to 'Area 2BE' Cafe - Its got excellent coffee!). We will return to Tasmania again, and will happily stay here again.

Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. It was warm inside, even with the aircon on a lower setting. This provided a great escape from the cold. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, with a heater provided in the bathroom.

A bit noisy from the street and fellow residents, but didn't affect us too much.

The room was excellent. Perfect size for our small family of three with enough storage. The heater and vent fan in the bathroom were of great use and the water pressure was amazing.

A slightly larger fridge in the kitchenette would have been better. It would be nice at some point if the landing which provides access to the front door was enclosed for better weather protection.

Comfy room with everything you need. Few things in the mini bar, toaster, crockery cutlery, microwave. Great water pressure in the shower. Black out curtains. Warm and cozy, not far to walk to the casino.

Not the motels fault, but sounded like the person above our room was doing an aerobics work out (jumping up and down) for an hour at around 8.30 - 9.30 pm. Then started up again in the morning.

Room was well appointed and spacious enough for us and better than we expected for our 4 night stay. Breakfast bar at full width window was a nice bonus to the separate chairs and coffee table in the room. Although we didn’t partake, the mini bar was well priced and stocked. Car parks are quite wide to suit the most challenged driver, which was good. Rooms serviced daily, which we didn’t expect but appreciated. Shower had great water pressure and good hot water. Had rental car but to get into city centre we used the Metro Bus service which stops nearly out the front and runs regularly. Plus it’s in the same zone so only cost $3.50pp each way…. Was cheaper and more convenient than paid parking. Wrest Point is also across the road (nearly) and has bistro, restaurant etc but bookings required due to popularity, during our time here anyway.

For our liking and comfort the bed was a bit soft and lumpy.

The rooms were spacious and light. Rooms were well equipped for the number of people staying. Great view from the window to Mt Wellington! Plenty of parking spaces. And easy location to get to. Check in and Check out straight forward with friendly and helpful staff.

We were satisfied all round. No complaints!

Large clean room with comfortable queen bed, renovated clean, but a bit small, bathroom. Liked having kitchen bench with sink and microwave. Very convenient to have coin operated laundry on same level. Sandy Bay shopping area was 1 km away. Wrestpoint Casina was close by. Convenient to drive to the city and around Hobart. Free car parking under the building was very helpful.

We were on first floor. We did not have mountain view as indicated, only overlooked onto a tin roof. But it did not matter as we were out much of the time. Would have been a bit more comfortable if we had a table with dining chairs rather than uncomfortable high bar chairs at the window bench.

It's central location and excellent pricing makes this a top pick. It's extremely clean and easy to get to. It's great that free parking at the motel is available. It's across the road from the casino and uber eats is available so if you just need to crash, you don't have to go out for your meal. It is spacious and homely.

There was nothing I didn't like about my stay here

Room view was lovey. Very clean and comfortable. Added bonus was a laundry and gym on site, both not mentioned in the write up. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good bus connection

Bit of a walk to town but the bus service was good about every 20 minutes. In saying that we are not very fit, but we had a friend with a car staying elsewhere. It wouldn't put me off booking again
