The location was great, right near Salamanca and Constitution Dock. Parking available on site was good as there is not a lot of on street parking. Staff were friendly and efficient.

The hotel has a 5 star rating however the overall room presentation and fittings were less than expected for that rating. Window furnishings were basic and run down, air-conditioning was only in the living area with no airflow into the bedroom, and a small portable heater was the only heating available outside of the living area. The furnishings did not create an inviting space, one couch, and a small table and chairs that left an enormous amount of space unused, it felt empty. The "king bed" was 2 singles with a definite join down the middle.

We were given a totally unexpected room upgrade 😊 Our room was neat and very clean, quiet and with a peaceful outlook of leafy, green trees and a park. The location was perfect, as we were in close proximity to the Salamanca/Hobart Wharf/Battery Point areas and all the wonderful eateries available. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful.

At first we found the idea of the car stacker parking system a little daunting, but we had to admire the patience of our receptionist in walking us through the instructions to park and retrieve our car, a RAV4 Cruiser, which fit perfectly in the space provided!

From check-in to check-out, the staff were exceptional. They were always welcoming, willing to assist, and provide local knowledge. A matter with the payment was resolved quickly and very efficiently. Located in the Salamanca precinct, lots of places of interest, cafes, restaurants, and bars were within easy walking distance. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. It will be the first place we try to book on any future trips to Hobart.

Having to leave

The young lady behind the counter was extremely helpful. (This was our second time here) We got a carpark free, and we were able to stay a bit longer after checkout, in the carpark because the market was on. Great little balcony yo have a drink and watch the world go by. Place is clean, has great facilities, is close proximity to the wharf and markets, beds comfortable, and you can hardly hear any noise outside or inside. Having a fridge and kitchenette was extremely great when we arrived the first time, as we got in so late, everything was shut,.so we bought some food at Woolies and heated it in the microwave. Great place to stay

It is on the high price side. Our second stay was a Friday night (little bit cheaper during the week), and was $325 for the night. But if you can, it is well worth the pennies, as it has everything. We loved both our stays. And we would have liked a wardrobe and somewhere to put our suitcases. But because it was quite roomy, there was space on the floor, just got in the way a bit.

Exceptional staff at reception who was extremely friendly and welcoming. Great parking facility. Room smelt clean and beautiful when entering. Very spacious room, ideal for someone with disability. However they would need assistance to reach top cupboards in kitchen. All supplies in kitchen and stocked mini bar. Nice free plunger coffee. Large bathroom with really good lighting which was appreciated. Also all amenities and plenty of towels. Fabulous area and very convenient to Salamanca. Downstairs cafe available. Would stay here again.

Bed wasn’t to partner’s liking but I thought it was fine. Nice and big.

No issues at all. The staff were fantastic, the room is modern, clean, and spacious. The car parking is free, the cafe out the front is brilliant. The location is great, you're in Salamanca, and Battery Point is a short uphill walk. ...and did I mention the staff. We dealt with 4 different people on reception, and each deserves a pay rise. They were great, just normal, helpful people. And there's a washing machine too.

Nothing, it was as good as you can get.

Very well appointed, comfortable apartment. Quiet, no plumbing noises from other units. Super comfy bed. Loved the bathroom products no need to bring your own. Farzi coffee shop downstairs serves great coffee. Awesome location near great restaurants in particular Blue Eye Seafood, Ball & Chain steak house and Da Angelo Italian in Battery Point, 6 minute walk through the park. Will definitely recommend & stay here again

Nothing!

Location was excellent - short stroll to restaurants, bars, cafes, museums, main shopping district. We travelled around on the hop on-hop off bus it was great value-we bought the 2 day pass. The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Having a cafe on the ground floor was a great convenience. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Will definately book again next time we stay in Hobart.

Having to leave - could have stayed longer.

It was fantastic and we’ll be back. We loved our apartment and it more than met our expectations. The location is great and close to the markets, the wharf and cafes in Battery Point. Also, easy walking distance to and from the SkyBus stop. The staff were absolutely fantastic and special mention to the young lady on the front desk and the room service staff - our room was spotless.

There is nothing we found needing to negatively comment on.

Great spot, lovely location. 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious. Great shower. Washer/dryer a bonus! Kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed the cafe downstairs with great coffee and a delicious breakfast.

We weren't crazy about the parking stacker - it was not that easy to get into. Our car (mazda cx5) not that big but tight squeeze when reversing into the spot with a lip to navigate. However we appreciated the free parking!
