The main purpose of staying here is the view. As described, due to the elevated location, the view towards the city and docks is very good, despite a few bushes on surrounding properties encroaching. Not mentioned is the wonderful view framed by the main bedroom window of the forest of eucalypts giving a sense of being in the bush. How peaceful! Moreover for those who enjoy bushwalking or who are keen on keeping fit, the property is a short walk from accessing the walking trails at Mt Nelson / signal station. The walk up is graded black / difficult but is rewarding and invigorating (hiking boots needed for the steep slippery gravel descent) and from there a whole host of other easier walks are possible. We concur with the other reviews of the positive aspects (so will not repeat) and did not find any significant negatives.

Those with mobility issues and / or without transport may wish to seek a more convenient property due to the 2 short flights of steps inside the property and the location up the mountain. Neither were a problem for us. This is not a property where you can easily walk to the Sandy bay shops or eateries so we planned our days accordingly and this didn't bother us.

A lot of stairs, not good for elderly people should be made clear on web. The bathroom bath/shower needs a non slip base and defiantly a wall rail to get out not the flimsy towel rail which was coming out of the wall from previous tenants. It needs information on how the TV/oven/hot plates work, not everyone comes from the 21st centaury, Didn't like the driveway, sorry!!!

The property was clean, well maintained and well appointed. The view was amazing.

There are many stairs that lead down to the apartment as well as some internal steps. While this wasn’t an issue for us, some people might find it difficult to negotiate. Certainly not for anyone with mobility issues.

Everything! The view was incredible, the entire apartment was so clean and had everything we needed.

There was nothing we didn't like, however, we would have loved a BBQ! And possibly some fresh towels on hand as we stayed for 8 nights.

Easy check in. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Location is ideal, convenient and close to grocery shopping and restaurants. Host has provided generous supplies of good quality toiletries and coffee in the pantry. Apartment was tastefully furnished

It would be a 5 star if there's dryer. We tried drying by hanging, but 1 day is almost not enough.

A very cosy place and excellent location for those who drive. Kitchen fully equipped with all essential and things u need. And the balcony has a great view. Room equipped with electric blanket too. Enjoyed staying here for 3N. Definitely will stay again if visiting Hobart in future.

Fabulous location, wonderful warm welcome communications, easy to access entry without need for keys, stunning view, well resourced apartment, very clean and tidy, a pleasure to stay here.

Key less door entry. Deep carpets great. Good range of cutlery etc in kitchen. Nice outside deck.

Cramped bathroom. Cobwebs and bathroom by windows lots of dead flies. Access difficult around parked neighbours caravan and cars. Dirty blind in kitchen. No aircon in rest of property.

The location & view was outstanding. The apartment was well equipped with daily necessities. The check in was super easy and we couldn't have asked for anything more as a base.

Needed an iron & the shower was a bit tricky.
